A simple question of logic for the devs re Toothy Tortes

There are more Survivor and more Killer characters in the game than there were this time last year. That means more BP is needed by the average player to spend on perks, items, add-ons and offerings between them. In what way is it then desirable or reasonable that there are fewer of the event offerings that increase BP available overall? I don't want this to become something about hurt feelings or failed expectations, so let's just stick with the mathematics. If Tortes are not random but fixed within the bloodweb at a low frequency it's going to be very hard to accumulate any decent number on any one character without burning millions of BP at a time, and with 45 Killers and 56-odd Survivors, even the 15 million bonus we've received doesn't go very far.

    I completely agree with this. We should be getting at least 5 cakes per bloodweb. I mean, its the 10th ANNIVERSARY!! Make it a BIG celebration and help the newer players get the perks and the veteran players get closer to that sweet Prestige 100 for their favorites! Its a win-win!

    I don't know how many times I have to say this, but just enjoy the grind.

    You get around 25 cakes per Prestige, which means that during the event, if every player brings a cake, you'll earn enough Bloodpoints for another Prestige in roughly every four matches. In other words, Behaviour has basically handed out around 350 cakes for free. (15mil bp)

    On top of that, you could have already farmed the 5 million Bloodpoints before the event started. That's another 125 Cakes, or roughly 475 cakes if you use auto-spend (and even more if you spend your Bloodpoints manually).

    If you also saved up Tome challenges, each completed Tome is worth around 1.5 million Bloodpoints you could have gone into the event with even more. With a bit of planning, someone who's been playing for the past year could easily have started Day 1 with around 600 cakes.

    And we're still only 2 days through the event with 18 days left. 😊

    You do get a decent number of cakes. Escpecially with the gifted BP you can earn more than enoug.

    Regarding your logic: your initial situation that there are many characters so you need many bps. So now you actually get an event with a decent amount of bp and youre still complaining. Thats greed. There are more opportunities through out the year. You do not need to max out all the chars with this one event.
