Hear me out on this. At high ranks, survivors never walk over the Torment Trail. When putting them in the environment, survivors can just crouch over them and when putting them in a loop, survivors will just go to a different loop. Hitting survivors at high ranks with the Punishment of the Damned is hard. Killer main, specifically nurse with 1k hours. I played a few matches as wraith and billy and got a bunch of rank 15-20s each time, all with <20 hours played. I thought, ok surely its because i don't play those killers often, so i hopped on my nurse main, i play a few games of nurse every day. What I mean by this is simple, lets say someone gets unhooked and they have BT and they just run at you because they have BT, that's not the intended use for the perk. Borrowed Time is an anti-camping perk but if the survivor abuses that and just runs at me, I can abuse the games mechanics too. Alright, now I haven't played Bubba since I first started DBD very very long ago, he was basically the first killer I leveled for BBQ and that's it.. but I've always enjoyed playing him in the past even though I never went back to finish leveling perks on him.. While I love that bubba finally got a very good rework this recent update, his camping is absolutely ridiculous. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe PART of the reasons why BHVR gave Billy a cool down on his chainsaw and Bubba Charges on his chainsaw was to stop players that abused rev camping. Really good idea in a game where you mostly rely on the (in)competence of the other players rather than your own skill. It get's even worse when your placement matches are against baby Killers with barely any perks. I'm genuinely curious how this is supposed to determine my skill level? I saw a lot of posts here on the forum where other player reported about the same experience. How is it possible that the new mmr match brand new players with player and killer with 2k hours?? Hello :) So i'm really happy about the Rating matchmaking for killers because if you are a god at Trapper and a terrible Nurse you won't be matched against god survivors as Nurse for example. But i was wondering about survivors. How does the system rates survivors ? Is it by % of victory/loss against a certain killer ? dead by daylight has been out for 4 years now and is still going strong. To keep the game in strong, I would recommend the game being easier for new players. Something to entice them more into playing the game. Perks shouldn't be locked behind a pay wall and I know they come out in the shrine eventually, but that could be 6+ months from now. I remember on the last Q&A submission: it was closed before the silent hill chapter was released so a lot of top questions couldn’t be asked although the community felt they were very important. I enjoyed being a killer, sure the match making process was long, but I didn't have much issue against players near my rank and play time. This is probably a trash killer idea but how about a killer with base stats but his ability is to throw survivors that he m1s. If the survivor hits a pallet the pallet breaks. If they hit a gen it gets popped equal to pop goes the weasel. If they hit another survivor the thrown survivor goes down and the other survivors gets injured one health state. Yup, So far I played around 22 matches or so with oni today. Difficulty starting going up from the 9th match. Obviously from the name the killer will be based off of a werewolf design and concept. Other names like the beast or Wolfman can be chosen later. Design wise you could have a default look like a wolf that is humanoid in shape or a human turning into a wolf, there are many ways to represent werewolves so that leaves a lot of skin options. Does anyone else enjoy using this item? I enjoy running a T2 Myers on some games. It's kinda like the scratched mirror, but with a little more lunge and movement speed. The only real weakness imo is if someone runs OoO, then you're kinda screwed with the wall hacks even when they are close. How long will it takes for this new MM system to start working ? I've played already 14 games since it launched all on my main killer, 80% 4k and rest 3k (due to me giving hatch or RNG on it) complete dominations, only twice did survivors manage to do 3 gens. Yesterday I played few survivor games I get those in the picture and today killer and this is what I get I mean those 4 survivors I murdered had 2-3 hours in the game literally. How is this fair ?
