It's so inconsistent, There are games full of red rank survivors against a rank 20 killer with only one perk, and sometimes I'm the only red rank survivor against another red rank killer, but my teammates are rank 20-16. One of the major topics that we always see in the forum is how “swf sweat squads” are op, unfair and impossible to defeat and called to be nerfed. Well, my take is that they are supposed to be like this. Real sweat squads are quite rare to find, and members of those teams are probably all really good players with an incredible amount of time spent in game and high skill cap. Is haddonfield/midwich getting any changes both are highly problematic maps? It's not even argued anymore. So as a good rank one killer now my waiting time is insannne. I used to got INSTANT queues. All the time. Now I have to sit and wait for 10-15 minute every match and sometime five more minutes in lobby. Last time I quit this game in 2018 bcuz slow queues now I might have to again. I noticed when I play at night in my time zone, the worse the game play gets. The killers back after back camp and tunnel. For the last days I only played Killer I am familier with, now I wanted to try out Oni, a killer I played less then 5 matches overall with and no match in 2020 yet! When I search for a lobby I get a lobby in the first 20 sec BUUUUT the ping is horrible! After latest patch rank system went crazy, when i'm playing as killer, i'm keep getting an rank 1 to 8 while i am at 14-18. Then i am getting bullied by toxic survivors and just unable to win game at all because my skill is not enough to beat level of 1-8 ranks. I don't know how-to play anymore. I have this issue with both hag and trapper i set a trap and 10s latter its disarmed then i have no passive map pressure or gen pressure a gen is done in 20s (totatly fair as a killer that needs to waist time to do that) then i have 4 traps across the map near nothing with no traps. Yesterday I was going against a bunch of 20's and 14's. I was playing only as Leatherface since it was finally activated. Today I'm getting all Rank 1's-3's all day as Leatherface. Seems to be working fine for me after squashing new players all night. I switched to Freddy to see what would happen and got Rank 20's-17's again. Multiple games now the killer has tunneled 1 person to death for the 3v1 without chasing hardly anyone else, then get easy hook trade camps the rest of the match. Their defense? "I'm better than you. I am Rank 1 killer since always and I got some matches with low ranks (20-12) and I destroyed them so hard that I did not get a PIP. Then it happened again and I thought: what if I destroy them every match and dont pip, will I ever get red ranks as enemies? over 30 matches later: NO! Have Poised give an audio cue when any gen(s) reach 95% completion. This way, the user will know, mid-chase, that their tracks will soon disappear, and can attempt to set themself up to make use of it. Currently, it pops mid-chase without warning, and when the killer notices the lack of tracks they immediately do their best to keep line-of-sight instead of mind-gaming. With the Great Skill check bonus reduced from 2% to 1%, the already under-used perk, Stakeout , had it's ability cut in half. The perk requires putting yourself in danger, only works against killers with a terror radius, takes too long to get a stack, and gives almost nothing for it.
