I know it's only been a month and a half or so since it's announcement, but we have yet to see any further updates regarding visual/animation reworks. Is there any progress being made on these? I was lowkey hoping billy would get the same treatment as doc and get his maps reworked, but I see why that may be hard lately. I get it, people hear "We are adding MMR to help with matchmaking!" and they think it will be great out the get go and are unsatisfied. If you have played few games or are playing with very casual builds, you will see different results going forwards. The old ranks that were *mostly* based on playtime every month have little to absolutely nothing to do with the new MMR matchmaking. I've been see0 comments 21 views last activity

I literally spawned into the saloon map with all other survivors. No one brought a shroud offering, but yet we all spawn right next to each other. Like... shoulder to shoulder. MMR systems are good in games where both sides have the same objective and the same winning conditions. DBD is asymmetrical and both sides are scored entirely differently - and we don't even know the formulas of how our MMR score is calculated. So, I've been playing the game for a while now and have gone against every killer in the game. Usually going against a diverse group of killers every day. However, only recently I've been getting the same killers each match. Yesterday it cycled through Ghostface, Pyramid Head, Stupid Pig and Doctor. A couple of my killers I really really enjoy running Sloppy + Nurse's on specifically Wraith and Hag with M&A and that was just rough the past week. Of course I've still been running BBQ because of the points but having the better auras back is nice too. I played demo like all day and I failed to find any pattern in the matches I get, the only thing I noticed is that good survivors don't get in the same lobbies with bad survivors, but most of the time the good survivors I get matched against are just SWFs and the MMR doesn't have anything to do with that in terms of putting them together. New killer here, rank 14. Trying to learn Nurse. Almost every game I get red rank survivors who destroy me. They're nice about it and I'm definitely getting better slowly, but it's still not fun at all. I shouldn't have to work this hard to convince myself it'll be fun eventually. Is there something like overall killer MMR impacting all killers partially or do all killers have seperate MMR that isn't tied to anything in any way ? A lot of skillful killer gameplay is very simmiliar on each killer with just slight changes. Knowing how to patrol, slug, chase etc properly are all skills that are same on all killers, main thing that changes is the power which ofc is huge but i0 comments 11 views last activity

Playing in Red Ranks in solo queue is never fun for me, but I'm not one of those people that will lose a match on purpose to derank myself. I have more than 1000 hours and I am a rank 4, yet somehow I played against a rank 20 trapper who did not even know how to lunge. I forgot to take a screenshot, but damn, how can Behaviour turn poop (the old matchmaking) into (bad word)? Come on devs. Just stop with that quantity over quality! Just come on. 1. Similarly to the current level 50 bloodweb, each bloodweb from level 40 will allow you to buy 2 perks instead of 1. 2. Prestige from level 50 to p1 will keep your current unlocked perks at the tier 1 version. So for example if at level 50 you had every perk you would get to keep them at tier 1. Hi there, I'm trying to make a real life version of Caleb's Speargun "The Redeemer". I've checked the model ig from multiple perspectives and how the whole reel and shoot mechanism works (Quite easy actually, but might have to undergo some more changes because 2 big gears won't do anything). I’m interested to know what changes people would like to see if they actually could make alterations to the game. Below is my top 10 opinionated and possibly biased changes that I believe will improve gameplays. Remove rank system completely. MMR attempts to predict the outcome of a match, which means it will try to avoid matches that seem fixed one way or the other. There's one core fact that isn't taken into account however: There are much more top tier Survivors than Killers. So in order to create "balanced" matches with the Killer playerbase that naturally exists the MMR system will have to make Rainbow Rank matches to create4 comments 61 views last activity

Ever since the Billy rework I haven't played him much but now when the overheat mechanic isn't completely broken and his charge addons are back to normal I jumped into a game. I just noticed when you are stunned you loose all of your chainsaw charge. Before the rework you kept your charge and could recharge your chainsaw to break a pallet when you were stunned and had Enduring. Is this supposed t1 comments 31 views last activity

What is the point of this addon being Ultra Rare? It is just a Quality of Life addon because it consumes all 3 charges perfectly - you could just time it yourself and not use this addon. It has an upside that it increases chainsaw duration - same effect can be received from chilis, which are lower rarity. It even has a downside that it decreases your chainsaw speed. The title. As a player who plays 70% survivor and 30% killer, it's really annoying when an entitled survivor kills himself on hook the moment he gets outplayed by the killer in first 40 seconds. This is basically a death sentence for a survivor team and an easy game for the killer. As much as we appreciate you wanting to play with us; you're becoming a massive issue with this game. Yeah on your end things might be fine and dandy, but playing as survivor is virtually impossible against you. Right now I think only Hag, spirit and Legion are, in lack of a better term 'human sized' while all other killers are at least 1 1/2 heads taller than the tallest survivors. Would it be good or bad for a game if they were their 'normal' (as in before the entity took them) size, or wouldn't that make a difference? I would say i face alot of irritating stuff on dead by daylight but this one takes the cake. If you realize that the Killer is avoiding you and you're the Obsession, PLAY AROUND IT. If you try to immerse or play safe, the Killer will shred the team to pieces with 8 stacks. Even if you're a low MMR Blendette with Urban Evasion, please pay attention to this.
