I played quite a lot of trickster today to try and get used to him but every game I just kept getting an average of like 3-5 hooks. I went from rank 1 to almost rank 4 because of him lol. His power is seriously underwhelming and just has way to many negatives. It takes to much knives to injure/down a survivor, he is 110% movement speed which just makes him ridiculously slow, survivors lose the1 comments 81 views last activity

Now I'm not about to complain about Trickster being bad, but what I am gonna complain about is the sudden rush of new killers that are just not viable on console. Blight is the perfect example, he's horrible on console but good on pc, that's because of the controls obviously but it's still a problem if you can't play a killer correctly just because your're not on the right platform. It’s about time the devs do something about these absurdly unfun and toxic strategies. I played 6 games today so far and in every single one I have gotten face camped on first hook until I die except for one game where I got I hooked while being face camped and the killer proceeded to non stop tunnel me even when I stunned him 3 times during the chase. I just played a match against a Huntress where she wasn't humming at all. You could hear her terror radius when she was close, but beyond that there was no sound. Is that a bug? Give me your feedback on these thoughts and give me your thoughts on the Trickster. In my honest opinion, hes hot garbage, but he has a lot of potential. First give him normal movement speed, he cant chase around a simple T wall, hes too slow to catch up and his power simply cant do enough fast enough to gain benefits from a chase at a T-L. If you're on Console and came to the forums to see what people thought about Trickster all I can say is do not touch him, seriously. His power is awful in general but with console making it much harder to hit with the side to side recoil for an already underwhelming power it is genuinely not worth playing. Seriously, I got some PTSD from playing killer too much, every time i go near a pallet i'm so scared that i'll be bonked on the head by a pallet camper, this is spreading to whenever i play survivor too. It's also scary to see a Quentin/Laurie standing up straight. GhostFace? Scary? Pffft. Yeah right. Myers? Jumpscare? As if. Getting a pallet thrown onto you out of nowhere? I've only went against trickster like 5 times and about 4 out of those matches the killer struggled and only get one kill. Its only the first day of this new chapter so I would give it a few weeks to see how much better people get with him. So I was playing few games with new killer and then tested new buffes for Wraith and Blight and I have to say... I much enjoy play Wraith than new killer. Personaly, because I just feel my power is somewhat meaningfull and also I feel less exhausting to play new Killer. Its just that, you know, the entire community pretty much unanimously agreed that Trickster needed a huge buff, and repeated their opinions several times over in the PTB and the Forums, but instead you just nerfed him. The description of Showstopper says that when Main Event is filled, you can push ctrl (ability button) to activate it. I have played a few matches and it just automatically activates when filled. So I can’t hold it until it is a good time to use it. On top that, I still run out of knives in Main Event... even though you are supposed to have unlimited knives. The reason I don't think it is ever going to be possible to balance SWF (without bringing major changes to the game at least) is because you can never stop people from using voice chat. The game is designed to play with your friends, but not with voice chat. That's what informational perks such as bond, empathy, or kindred are for. I've played a few games as each and here are my thoughts (I played Wraith a decent amount pre-patch). Trickster: I think, in THEORY, he's a very fun killer to play as, but this theory does not carry over well into practice. While there were a few instances where I got injures with his power, there is almost NO reason to use it over just chasing and basic attacking. My first thought when skimming over the text for Fast Track was that you consume the tokens and each token that you consume gives you the bonus progression once, on the skill check that you consume it on. However, the perk reads "Each token consumed grants a bonus progression for Great Skill Checks when repairing generators." Note the plural on "Great Skill Checks" and "generators". The killer players seemed to be good at the game but this killer is so bad that they couldn’t do anything to anti-loop. Seriously devs, y’all need to buff this poor killer because he’s struggling massively at the moment. I just played a game against Trickster and he had me at full laceration only needing to hit me one more time to injure me. He breaks chase and uses a basic attack to injure another completely different survivor and 6 of my laceration meters went away immediately, then the remaining two when he hit another. Yes, already. His massive issues were already made exceedingly clear during PTB, and yet -none- of them were fixed. Why even bother having PTBs at all at that point?
