This response has to be a joke, and one of the laziest responses I've seen on a forum post yet.

Yes

Idk why BHVR even added this mechanic in the first place lol. Spamming spacebar was so much more realistic and more original.
-
I think both killers are very boring, but if anything I would get Trickster for his teachables.

The difference in that is Blight is a mutated monster.
And in a game like GTA, those games aim to be as 'realistic' as possible; there is a warning before playing it and the amount of outcry those games have received is insanely high; I doubt BHVR would want to bring that sort of negative attention to the game.

Hooking and Killing in a fantasy-like world of horror. It's a lot different than killing showcased in life-simulator-esque games.
And to all of you, the animation for injecting would be pretty bad, if it were sticking yourself, since it takes 4ish seconds to actually perform the action. This animation is honestly fine as is. No one has an issue with Deep Wound being the same animation.
Your argument literally makes no sense. When you say "Games tend not to show injections, since they can mistakenly be seen as drug use", there's an instant argument for that. And someone already said it, Blight literally injects himself while using his power, it doesn't matter if he's a mutated monster, it's still in the game, meaning they can absolutely give us an injection animation for the survivors.

Well, realistically escaping as a survivor is a win. But to me, typically if I'm able to run a killer for 5 gens that's usually a win to me, very rare when I do but I have my moments xD. I really don't even look at escaping as a win though, if I just held M1 for 5 gens and escaped, I don't see that as a win at all, I more see it as it was just a very boring game and a less deserved win.
As killer, I think getting a 4k is a win. But really if I had fun that game, then that's a win for me too. This is a very underrated opinion, but I absolutely love it when I get into games with SWF's because it just makes my gameplay much more fun and chaotic, and it's nice not playing against W key survivors all the time lol.

Okay, I'm confused here. You're upset because you don't have all the perks for every one of the considerable amount of characters you use in the two years you've played? When new perks and characters are still coming out that you're leveling and you've prestiged at least one 3 times AKA reset them all and all they had?
Aaand you're somehow upset that this means you don't have everything?
They're not confused, and I think you missed their entire point. They're talking about how grindy this game is, and how unrealistic it is. I have around 2.2k hours in-game and I only have about 3 Prestige 3 killers with all the perks outta like the 20 other killers we have. I have a bit more survivors prestige 3 with all the perks. Besides that though, imagine how the newer players would react when playing this game for the first time right now, seeing 15+ survivors, and 15+ killers. That's absolutely insane, and to top it all off, not only are there I think 93 survivors perks, you have to get all of them to tier 3, and 90% of those are absolutely useless, same thing for the killer's perks. It's just absolutely insane and having 60+ perks for both sides along with perk tiers doesn't help one bit, especially when most of the perks don't even make a difference when they are tier 3'd.
-
My first match was on October 30th of 2017, and I specifically remember playing against a Huntress on her new map! That whole game, I just sat and crouched on the top of the cabin cause I was horrified lol. I was a meg main for a while when I first got the game, and I eventually started to rotate playing with other survivors, but I would do literally anything to go back to my first dbd experience. This game was so much more fun back when I first got it, and I think I was lucky enough to enjoy the game at least a year before it started it's downfall lol.
-
I just got done working out, just wanted to get some of my killer challenges done, and you do this to me behavior 😔
-
Wow, you really spent over 20 minutes of your day making a forum post about t-bagging. Yikers...
-
Demo go roar
-
I'm absolutely a fan of this idea !!! I could see myself running this perk 24/7.
-
That's actually insane! That's why I prestiged him first cause he has like the best P3 outfit 😂
-
As a survivor main, I actually love all of these ideas, but some of them I'm also a bit torn on.
- I love the key idea, but I would probably reduce the 20 seconds to 15.
- I actually don't mind the Mori idea, I don't think it would really be any harm.
- OoO I'm a bit 50/50 on because I like the idea, but I think the killer being able to look at you and seeing your aura would just cause a lot of tunneling.
- Love the GearHead one, I definitely think it would make the perk a lot more better !
- Not a fan of DS getting deactivated while in a locker just because sometimes you might end up running into a dead zone with no pallets, and lockers are the only escape you have sometimes, especially when you're getting tunneled into the ground.
- I wouldn't mind having the speed boost removed off of NOED, but it's still a very unhealthy perk for the game. Pretty basic nice idea though.
- Dead hard, I'm not a huge fan of just because I think it would make the perk too much weaker, but It's an interesting Idea.
- I'm 50/50 on the Spirit one because I love the idea of being able to hear a heartbeat the closer a phasing Spirit gets to you, but I also already think that scratch marks are very visible while phasing.
- Trapper could definitely use that slightly decreased chance of struggle, but he needs a lot more buffs than just that.
- I don't really like the Legion one because it seems like you're getting rewarded for whiffing and I'm not a fan of that.
- I think the DeathSlinger add on could be neat, although his speargun range is already pretty long enough.
- And the Iri head one I actually love ! But it'll also still be a very unfun addon to play against. But I still love the Idea !
Overall, love all of these Ideas ! ❤️
-
That's because as a survivor, it's not all up to you to get all of the gens done and unhook others. Should you still being do gens and be an efficient teammate ? Absolutely ! But as a killer, it's all up to you. You don't have any other killers helping you, you're all alone and it's all on you to take care of 7 generators, and to pressure survivors. So yeah... playing as a survivor is a lot more chill because you have others helping you, unlike killer 😊.

Even though I'm not a pig main I love playing as her and against her. I think she's really fun to play against and when you play as her she's like wraith whereas she's a very chill killer that's nice to play as when you don't really feel like trying 😊

How can you struggle against one of the weakest killers in the game? Guess you are the ones who nerfed Billy LMAO
In what way is he weak ? Please explain. Cause if I remember the weakest killers in the game are Trapper, Wraith, and Pig and that's why nobody ever plays them because for some reason I guess killers are just too scared to lose lol. And also no I actually don't have a problem with Billy's change at all. I still play him till this day and I still think he's a very good killer.

@SwooceRaiden said:
"unhealthy" = "i can't cheese it with DS"?
I used DS as an example for a hook perk because PHead ignores hook perks. It's not very fun going into a match with 2 perks or maybe even a whole hook build and it just goes to waste because of this one killer. The reason why I did use DS as an example for a hook perk is because he can just tunnel you once you get out of his cage and you can't do anything about it.

"I can't get guaranteed 4 survivor escapes and teabag into the sunset, so it's a bad killer" is literally all I took from this
Lmao I never once complained about not being able to escape and that's also not what I was going for in my forum post. I was explaining why he's an unhealthy killer for the game and how he can be boring and unfun to play against. What you're saying is completely irrelevant to what I was talking about in my forum post.
-
I don't really care about the hate that much. I'm gonna play the killer I wanna play and I'm not gonna let someone tell me otherwise lol. I would call him an unhealthy killer in a way of, no matter how balanced you make him, he's still gonna be very unfun to play against because of what his power plays as, but he still has counters like not just holding W or pre dropping a pallet. There are definitely worst killers out there that people should be worrying about.

You sound salty and entitled. I main as him and have played against him. It's easier when you know what you're doing
I'm not salty nor am I being entitled at all. Lol. I wanted to make a forum post on him because I wanted to release my thoughts on him and I wanted to try and prove a valid point on him. I wanted to addressee what's wrong with him and my thoughts on him because I felt the need to and I know there would be a few people on here that agreed with me and I'm happy about that. I also knew there would be people in here that would lash me out on it and think of something completely irrelevant to my argument and I'm also fine with that. It seems to me like you're being biased because I don't think your killer is healthy for the game and I think he needs to be dealt with :)
-
@Elena said:
I find it interesting that you bring up how Pyramid Head counters BT and DS, so let me ask you this:
Do you actually think PH is unhealthy in his current state or are you just complaining because you're not good at counteracting him?
Yes I think he is unhealthy in his current state. There's no real counter to him and for the people who are saying there is a counter like "Oh iTs yOuR oWn FaUlT" or "GiT gUd", they aren't giving me any useful information. Lol.

I'm saying that complaining about every game being Undying and Ruin is kind of rich 3 months in when killers have been dealing with the same stale survivor meta for 3 years.
To counter your post I responded to. Do you think it's fun for the killer to play against Dead Hard, Decisive, Unbreakable and Borrow Time every match? No. It's stale and boring.
Survivors don't "have" to throw to counter Undying, one survivor with Small Game can get every totem in around 2-3 minutes. And considering the first chase of the match is often the longest, potentially lasting multiple minutes if a good survivor gets some good loops spawns, both the hexes can be gone and multiple gens done in that time. It sounds like you're just getting unlucky with your teammates.
Don't get me wrong I play solo, there are some absolute invalids out there in Red Ranks. But saying every game is like that is a flat out lie.
Well I can definitely say I'm very lucky when it comes to finding Undying first, and well yeah Solo Q is Solo Q.

Coup de Grace is going to be a total nightmare against Freddy's and Nurses. Freddy's lunge is already ######### as it is, along with Nurse.

Not to defend Undying/Ruin being used on meta killers or anything. But you're talking to a brick wall. Red rank killers have had to deal with DS/UB/BT/DH with 1 or 2 differences for going on 3 or so years now.
And if every killer is using it that's the perfect excuse to learn totem placements for each tile.
Why are you comparing DS/UB/BT/DH with Undying ? Lol. What if the survivors are all using those meta perks ? Their generators are still gonna be regressing whether they're using their meta builds or not. We're not talking about meta builds here were talking about Undying and I'm saying how miserable the perk is with certain duos and why survivors have to throw the game for it. Not saying DS/UB/BT/DH doesn't change the game for the killer either and that it's not miserable for them too. But this whole forum post is why Undying turns survivors into potatoes and I just explained why.
-
@BreadLord said:
lets all rush and use up our unbreakables and go down 8 times just to get the one totem
Well let me tell you something. Do you think it's fun playing against a killer using Ruin+Undying 90% of your matches ? No I don't think so. Most of the time you do find a Hex Totem it's usually never Undying, at least for me most of the time. Every killer uses it now and if the survivors don't try to look for it then it's basically an automatic win for the killer with that duo unless you have competent teammates which is very rare.

First I wanna say I really do love this game. I have 2,000+ hours and I've been playing since October of 2017. I've made a lot of memories on it and I've had a lot of fun on it, not saying I don't anymore but not very commonly as I used to. I wish the game would receive more changes instead of constant Chapters every 3 months. This game needs a lot of work when it comes to balancing for both sides and that's why I don't have as much fun as I used to when I first got the game. When I first got the game I didn't know what the hell was going on and I also think the game was a lot more balanced back in 2017 when I did buy it and that's why I had so much fun on it from the start. I still play the game everyday because I love the grinding aspect, but I never really expect to have fun most of the time I am playing it really anymore. I would say 2/10 games I actually have an enjoyable time. But yeah that's my overall thought on the current health of the game 😊
-
I've played with AngryPug, I've played with No0b3 multiple times, and I've played against Hexy multiple times as well. I think that might be it tho
-
I think I'm like devotion 9 level 24 or somethin, I started playing in like late 2017 I think 😁
-
In all honesty I think the only killers in the game that nobody ever really complains about are Myers, Pig, Demo, and Blight because I think they all are very well balanced (Pig could maybe use a little buff) but I never get tired of playing against those 4 😁
-
I think being able to only mori any survivor after their second hook would be a great change.

Stop demanding nerfs to gen stall perks and then telling killers to pressure gens. Admit gens are to fast and to easy and need to be changed at their core.
It is funny now a perk that needs to be earned is getting nerfed while tapping a gen to stop progression with no time requirement or even a skillcheck (that must be done while holding the gen) is all fine and dandy.
Omg the perk barely even got nerfed, it's only a 15 second difference ! You also do realize that gens take longer to complete after the previous gen change update right ? I also never said that all gen regression perks needed to be nerfed... I said Hex: Ruin is a pretty balanced perk because the survivors can get rid of it. Now yes, if the killer is running Ruin and it gets broken, well tough luck you're going to get gen rushed if the survivors are actually decent, and yes I'm gonna keep telling the killer to pressure gens better If the killers running PGTW because they're responsible for getting gen rushed for not putting enough pressure because it's the best tip I can tell them if they want to get better. Also wdym ? I guess getting a hook is you "earning" the perks value, but it literally regresses the gen by 25%, and that's A LOT. The gen gets regressed by a lot and you have to get all of it's value back after repairing it for like 60 seconds.

Pop needed to be nerfed? Lmao since when was Pop ever overpowered?
Pop is overpowered because you can't get rid of it unlike Hex:Ruin, It is extremely strong on high mobility killers such as Billy, I'm not even gonna get started on Freddy with his teleportation ability, Spirit, Legion, and Blight. If you have a 3-gen going on, the survivors are pretty much #########. You're going to be fine. The perks still going to be meta, it's still gonna be the same old boring perk with literally just a 15 second difference. Is that enough for you ?
-
Omg you guys are such babies, Pop needed to be nerfed and it's still a good perk, It barely even got nerfed and all of the killer mains always complain when their meta perk that carries their hand 24/7 actually gets dealt with. Stop saying " Why would you even think of nerfing pop without thinking of nerfing DS or UB " because first of all, UB is perfectly fine, the perk is literally a one-time use throughout the whole game whereas pop can be used infinitely throughout the whole entire match. Now for Decisive Strike, yes It is due for a change, but you guys always complain when an overpowered killer perk gets nerfed and expect the devs to nerf every semi-decent survivor perk.
