Im not lying. You seem to forget that we don't all live in the same geographical location and don't connect to the same regional servers.

30 minute queue times in 2v8. 20 minute wait times in normal queue. The game is practically unplayable every time this mode shows itself.
You don’t have to lie, mate. At most, normal queues are 6 or 7 minutes at their worst. My queue times in normal are only longer by a couple minutes. I’ve been getting into matches within 5 minutes.
@jamally093People overwhelming love 2v8, myself included. Yes, there are some very much needed changes to aid with matchmaking, but when the very very simple solution to your problem is to just play the normal mode, maybe do that instead of rage posting for it to be removed.
-
Don’t play the mode, then. Crisis averted.
-
They should definitely fix the bug for consistency sake, but something similar to it would be a good balancing feature, I think. Kaneki loses two charges when he breaks a pallet in order to allow the survivor a small window of breathing room after the killer breaks a pallet, I think Blight should have something like that too. Reign in the huge disparity between the weaker and stronger killers a little bit.
-
I’m actually of the opposite opinion, I really like the change. It looks more realistic and makes characters feel more tangible as opposed to just being models on a screen. I think it makes them look scarier too.
-
I do it. If someone queues, matchmake, readies, and loads into a match as survivor then decides they want to go next, then they can eat the dc penalty and replace themself with a bot for the team. Otherwise, they get to stick it out, playing or not.
-
glad someone else is experiencing this. I am also on Xbox series x and have the same issue. It even deselects my last character on top of resetting load outs.
-
I played as killer about as many matches yesterday as your screenshot and lost every one of them except 2 or 3. It happens, some days are just one of those days.
-
I haven’t noticed that, but what I have noticed is the refresh rate for auras when they’re ~40 or more meters away takes a dip. The auras seems to lose a lot of quality and look choppy. Maybe these problems have to do with render distance changes with the updated engine. Idk, I’m not a developer.
-
I’ve been hoping this would happen for a long time. On top of that I wish he still had his original design with putting survivors to sleep where he was invisible with a lullaby until you’re asleep and he manually pulls you into the dream world. I think that in combination with the two new powers and gen teleportation would be great.
-
I think it has to do with popularity. Not many people played Billy before his overheat rework, so he wasn’t seen often and his power is unique while remaining balanced in most people’s view. His strength isn’t fundamentally different, even though overdrive is very decent, but he is far more of a popular pick and is seen quite often now. That alone enables people to nitpick and dislike a character. Same goes for Wesker and other killers with a high pick rate.
-
Bro thinks Billy needs to sit in a corner and pout after missing a chainsaw
-
is this a bug I’m unaware of? If you’re demanifested doesn’t that hide your terror radius meaning no visual heartbeat?
-
It’s not the first time. Usually BHVR throws in a few challenges for a killer that had gotten some changes so they aren’t all one particular killer for over half the challenges. Personally I like having two killers as the focus for the challenges.
-
If I see an RPD or Game offering, I just close the game while it’s loading.

What’s Grave of Glendale then? The realm?

He’s no more effective than any other killer. Yeah you’ll probably trade with the guy on hook, but even Freddy can do that. The instant you even touch the hooked survivor the guard goes away and it’s just the knight. A face camping knight, but just the knight.

I leave if I want to leave. I will find a match in 10s later anyways.
You ruin the match for three other people. You are the reason this game needs dc penalties.
-
I think this is a neat idea. I like the aspect of the perk increasing how much the killer seats while you’re wiggling, so I’d just replace the part where dropping increases wiggle progression with this.
To be fair, though, I don’t think it’d do a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but I like it when perks change. Keeps them interesting.
-
Nope. That’s the only one that does that.
-
Played 7 or 8 matches so far. A Survivor DCs at the beginning every. Single. Time. It was funny for a bit. Now it’s not.

@ElodieSimp said:
You made the choice yet blame the survivors. Clip doesn't even prove you "right".
I’d make the choice too. I’m not going to always go out of my way to purposefully give myself a disadvantage because a survivor or survivors plays poorly.

I have not, I'm not sure even how to do that one. Is the killer supposed to have haste or the survivor?
@Tatertotters The survivor needs to have the haste effect when you hit them. Sprint burst, picking up the banner, hope, etc.

@Roaroftime said:
So you had four people to go for and went for the person who was just unhooked (and by the sounds of it wasn't sweating at all if she didn't bring an exhaustion perk) then blamed the survivors. Ok. More evidence survivors can't use fun perks also as they just get taken advantage of.
If you don’t want a killer to tunnel, take the agro. Expecting a killer to just let somebody go and put themselves in a worse situation for YOUR sake is downright childish. You can’t expect them to do that when you unhook and run/hide leaving your injured teammate out to dry.
-
Most survivors I see who DC will do so no matter the killer. So long as they’re losing and unable to keep play exactly the way the envision in their head, DC.

Achievements are different across different platforms. For EGS and Console, you only need 10 survivors. For Steam, you need 100 survivors.
Another example I can think of is Skilled Huntress, on Steam is required you to down 20 survivors from 24 meters away with a Hatchet. On EGS and Console it requires 100 survivors, making it WAY more difficult.
Actually the number of downs needed for skilled huntress is still only 20 on Xbox at least. Still a difficult achievement with the less precision controllers offer

One actively incentives camping and the other don't (at least in my opinion).
How though? Currently you can camp the third guy and the fourth has to either risk a save or wait and try for hatch or do a gate if gens are done. With this system, the killer can camp and the fourth survivor has the same choices. The killer gets no extra benefit other than the game ends slightly sooner if he catches the fourth survivor than now.
-
@HugTheHag said:
The fact that it takes into account hooked survivors is abysmally bad. Now the killer only has to camp the 3rd survivor on hook to either catch the last survivor on the way to the rescue, or wait for them to die and find the last survivor / mori them.
We're heading towards a situation where killer is explicitly incentived to camp the 3rd survivor, and I hate it.
How’s that any different than now? If the killer camped and somehow downs the fourth survivor, they’re dead anyways. I don’t see a difference.

*Laughts in legions cooldown*
Thing is that’s a fatigue mechanic. Do I like it? No. But Wesker uses his power way more than legion and the effect is up both during and a little bit after he uses his power. It’s hella cringe fr fr on God 🙌
-
I do sometimes, but I’m not going to go out of my way to help them escape. If they get downed near or are carried near the hatch, I’ll give it. But I’m not gonna take the time to find the hatch, find them, or sit there and watch them open a gate unless they have a good reason like a DC teammate or they did something to make me laugh.
-
Will never play on it as killer. Cool map aesthetically, gameplay is major poopoo
-
Turn off chat. Problem solved
-
Depends on the tech. Legion vaulting a pallet while being blinded and downing the survivor? Good. Blight running directly into a wall, backwards, and sliding across it to turn 758384 degrees? Wack.

He was weak??? Well...any opinion is also opinion. :) By my opinion, he was one of strongest killers, and i rly loved to play him.
I rly liked, how his abilities and killing style was connected with his story - he had to put someone to sleep, and THEN he could harm them...but now?
Freddy is visible / invisible only at some range - #########?
Freddy can do ilusinarry traps / pallets - #########?
Freddy can teleport on gens - #########?
It seems like those changes made someone, who never seen any of Freddys movies.
Anyway - his rework was 1st step to quit this game (and latest patch was final step) because i realised that BHVR can (and will) change everything they got by their will and they dont care if ppls, who bought their product will like it or not. And with Freddy? Try to imagine this:
You will go on some car presentation. You will like this car and you buy it. Everyone is happy. After year or two, you will go to service for some technical check (because you MUST). On that check they will tell you "Hmmm...this is old, its can not be here, this must be removed, this makes too much noise"...and after that check, you will go from that service on bycicle instead your fency car.
This EXACTLY happened to Freddy and i see it as a mega-scam.
I know they wanted to make him a bit "balanced" but it seems like BHVR forgot on one key thing, that makes this game fun, and that is "this game is ASYMETRICAL multiplayer game". There are 4 survivors vs ONE killer. Survivors will never be able to kill killer and killer will NEVER be able to repair generators. What i want to say that this games was, is, and always WILL BE "disbalanced". That is what make this game...this game. So trying to "add some balance" to something stronger is
1) by my opinion nonsense, because as i said asymetry is key fun element in this game
2) on survivors / killers to balance this asymetry by choosing correct perks / items / addons / offerings
3) definetly NOT on BHVR, because they making this game. Not playing it.
Another thing is reworking perks - why? Because some are stronger (and logically more played) then others?
BHVR again not realising that
1) they make "ranked-only game" so if you want to climb up, you must take best equip, wich means logically take best perks. There is no space to experiment with new builds, because by that you will probably loose and climb down.
2) some perks are (and ALWAYS will be) somehow stronger than others. Thats why they are played. And nerfing them because they are played? Especialy if they are unique and have no alternative? It's mega nonsense and it taking away fun from their game.
I got on this game 6 years (over 3k hours) and i have seen enough changes. This game drowned in "nerfs and fixes" so deep, that i think it's impossible for it to get back on "surface". Only possibility for it is move forward and make a "bigger mess". That all giving me question - "do i rly want to deal with that mess? Or should i just give it up and try to look for something else"? I think we all know this answer.
So im leaving this sinking ship, grabbing popcorn and just watch discusions how more and more ppls complain on BHVR. :)
Cheers
Damn bro you went on a whole other tangent. You want a caprisun?

Serious question does anyone even like new Freddy? I feel like he’s just bland, uninspired, weak and doesn’t represent his source material well.
They said the reason they reworked him was because he was too weak but then they released killers like sadako and keep killers like Myers in the gutter
Just bring him back with his new teleport and some QOL changes like incapacitated in the dream transition and a hard cap on action speed penalties so he can’t stack slowdown perks
This. I’d get on my hands and knees and beg for this.

@dspaceman20 said:
I sorta forgot how old Freddy even played like. How was he fun again?
His lullaby was for awake survivors instead of asleep and he was completely invisible. He would then need to pull you into the dream world in order to attack you with which then you can see him and hear his TR. There was a 7 second transition from awake to asleep where he did the intermittent appear and disappear until you fell asleep for real.
once asleep you had to wake up via another awake survivor or failed skill check. While inside you had an action speed penalty if I think 50% (which definitely wouldn’t work in today’s meta) and if you were outside his TR he could see your aura.
The fun factor was the pulling into dream world and actually having to want to break out. Just lore wise, only being able to see and be hurt by Freddy while you were asleep is way more fitting. Plus he was a pseudo good stealth killer and great at tracking.
He was way more fun to play as and against than current Freddy

It’s a video game, not an office job. Loyalty and dedication don’t need to be rewarded. Just be happy we get something at all.
-
I mistakingly allowed a survivor to use their keyboard and press E which gave them distance to a pallet
-
Yep, and it’s awesome. But in all seriousness, it’s not that bad. 12m is plenty of range to be able to navigate.
-
Who cares….?
-
For a moment there I thought this was another Sluzzy post
-
I was wondering the same thing. I imagine you still have to find them and maybe even the game prompts you to mori instead of automatically doing it.
-
Masochism.
-
I played a game as killer with the green glyphs. They spawned in totem spots where totems did not currently occupy in the match. I found a total of five in the match and got exponentially more blood points for each consecutive one I got. If you know totem locations, they should be easy to find, however if anybody is doing the challenge too, they can get them before you do.
-
It’s a decent idea, but I don’t understand why it’s purple. It’s not worth the rarity in the slightest, bring it down to at least yellow and maybe there would be a place for it. Maybe.
