I mean geez... We got a scoring event added to the game recently for recovering in the dying state, and yet I’m STILL running all the way across the map (because I’ve waited on my gen in case someone else where much closer), only to get to the slug and they haven’t done any recovery AT ALL. Yet there is not a single match survivors don't just press M1 to unhook someone and immediatly drop it so they don't get grabbed by the killer and instead they take a normal hit. If you start unhooking someone, you should be able to be grabbed. Sometimes i have other survivor who dont heal me bc they think im healthy. It does not happen often, but it is always funny. Until the killer comes and downs me... Even the new hud did not fix that. First i thought they dont want to heal me, but when i follow them and crouch, they get it. Or when we do a teamheal and someones leaves after the other two survivor are healthy. Any other survivor having a hard time since the latest update. I was consistently a rank 6-7 but now I have been demoted to 10-11 getting destroyed by ranks 14-17. Like the whole team gets wiped out. They seem to always cater to the killers (which I think are already too overpowered with the one hit downs) Looking at you Michael. And go around nerfing perks that don't need it. Trickster doesn't actually have any counterplay. In fact, I would argue that Trickster has one of only powers in the game that can guarantee downs on every tile regardless of Survivor skill (or their ability to pre-drop pallets). Like, someone please explain to me how I'm supposed to save a dude from a 3 man SWF group in the last 20 seconds while the Killer is chasing me, I'm injured and exhausted? When people with Borrowed Time do exactly the same? I hook someone, kill someone else, the 1st survivor gets unhooked so I place the new one on the same hook and the guy with BT can unhook just fine and if he takes a hit nothing happens because he has BT. Nobsyde, another poster and I disagreed about the Trickster. He said the Trickster was awful, weakest Killer yet. I said I didn't think he was that bad, and truthfully stated that I did ok with him in the PTB. I found him kind of boring, one note, but I didn't think he was the worst Killer in the game. Looking at the Coldwind rework I was just thinking how cool it would be if some of the maps had day and night versions. The obviously wouldn't work for all of them, but the fact that the new Coldwind is so eerie, foreboding, and isolating despite being set in mid-day gives me hope that the devs could pull it off. When I play killer, I would say I know three to five minutes into the match whether or not the survivors are good and if I need to play hard. If the gens are popping and they are able to run me through loops and pallets, I know I need to play hard, it's going to be a close game and, I shouldn't hold back. While no surefire way to counter killers, here a more serious approach to how to counter some of the killers that are often viewed as having no/little counter. Deathslinger: Stealth is a good counter. He has little map mobility and pressure, but a smaller TR. Keep your eyes on your surroundings and dive behind cover when you spot him somewhere. I rarely see Green survivors at matchmaking anymore, it's usually the ones who wear the flashiest clothes, P3 Claudettes, and fully decked out meta perks. I've tried lobby dodging based on my hunch but I still get matched with them. Not the perk, its awesome I run that with my babe big balls bill. Basically through out the match, I've fixed most of the generators and unhooked all 3 of my team, 2 of them on 2 occasions, 1 unfortunately DC. Am I the only person wondering when grabs will be fixed? I know that hits are calculated based on killer but when it comes to grabs I've been mid grab animation and had survivors just get up and run away, simply by letting go, locking me into an empty animation and robbed of both grab and a hit. Out of last 10 games I played, 9 of them the survivors found the purple key in one of the chests... They didn't have plunderer and in the after chat they'd say they found it a few times (when they did speak) That high of a chance for finding something that can completely devalue killer's end game is sort of... disheartening...
