Freddy needed a nerf mostly everyone knows that but for god sake plz stop using the excuse for nerfing a killer cuz the data says so

trickle down balancing
where you make all the changes from an extremely good players perspective like Otz, Tru or tofu

It wasn’t just because of data Freddy was literally to easy to play and his forever addons were so boring and cheap.
When you see a Nurse, 99% of them are either really good or really bad at her. Some people want to learn her but your first few games you're gonna get destroyed no matter what.
Being easy to play is not a reason to nerf a killer. If that were true, than the opposite should be true, and we should be buffing nurse. After all, she has a 40% kill rate and by the data is objectively the worst killer in the game, even in red ranks.
"Our data showed rat liver was used in 80% of demo matches so it must mean it should be nerfed" *1 day later*"OKAY OKAY WERE SORRY WE BUFFED HIS NATURAL SHRED"
They didn't nerf Freddy right, but they nerfed Freddy because my left braincell could 4K with slowdown addons on your typical Gamer Freddy™ build.
And balancing a nightmare like this isn't as easy as trickle down balance or just taking the words of streamers as god.

Shouldnt have nerfed it in the first place based on pickrate.
Funny thing that by that logic then the survivor meta should be different today, but instead it's has been the same for 3 years.

But people say Nurse is fine because she's just as strong but takes more practice. But if she's just as strong and boring, why doesn't she get nerfed? It's double standards.
