Hear me out. Let’s have the Entity chomp down just a bit harder when it finally eats a survivor off the hook. The tremendous pressure causes the now dead survivor’s body the spurt all over the ground in the area surrounding the death-hook, within an 8 meter radius. This zone will be easy to identify visually - such as emitting thick black Entity smoke. For the remainder of the match, the affecte0 comments 11 views last activity

You know how you can collect items from under the hook of a dead teammate? Well, what if you could also scavenge their perks?! Switch out any of your perks for anything that the fallen comrade had! Switch again later if you want. What fun!!4 comments 21 views last activity

I’ve suggested this before, but I think killers should be able to play with friends as well. I propose an Entity-appointed assistant: The Imp! This little creature can harass survivors and aid the killer in other ways. Most importantly, it has an Entity-provided mental link with the killer (built-in comms). The killer can invite friends just as survivors do, or choose to search for a rand11 comments 401 views last activity

When being camped or patrolled, this warns your teammates of the high risk. My wife is absolutely convinced that this little maneuver speeds up your hook timer and doesn’t believe me that it doesn’t. Now I need an outside source to end this debate. Please tell me, does arm flapping accelerate your hook timer?3 comments 91 views last activity

You know the ones I’m talking about. They crouch up behind the killer as he’s hooking you, and then start unhooking you in his face while his hook animation resets. But then they don’t have BT and you’re slugged again before your toes touch the ground. So what’s the point? They don’t get a “safe unhook” score, so WGLF can’t be the reason.5 comments 51 views last activity

Killers can’t hear survivors on the ground. Generators behind the wall on the right sound like they’re around the corner to the left. Terror radius is......what terror radius?! killer music may or may not play. I literally just had a a Trapper sneak up on me. A Trapper! Not a peep until after I took a hit! Until these issues get truly resolved for good, I think we need to take a page2 comments 81 views last activity

The challenges give me focus and a goal. After I’d finished tome 3, I was right around level 40. Getting up to level 49 between then and now was terribly frustrating. You see, I’m at a point where I need an extended break from the game, but I also want to finish the rift. When there are no challenges and you’re forcing yourself to play just for rift experience, the glacial rate at which it is1 comments 21 views last activity

You down a survivor as they leap through the shack window to the inside. They don’t move, choosing to recover. To pick them up, is it faster to: A) Go through the window B) Go around through the door C) They’re both the same amount of time. This is just curiosity. Anyone know for sure?1 comments 41 views last activity

Full disclosure: this idea is an exact copy I posted for Xenomorph if it ever entered the game. A lot of people couldn’t get over the idea of survivors surviving a chest-burst, so I’m reposting this as a different killer with the same mechanisms. There are minor modifications away from Alien terminology. This killer looks like a humanoid mantis. The special power is Brood: Put egg “traps”0 comments 21 views last activity

It seems so slow this time around! Done with all tomes so far. Started playing this morning at level 43. Played all morning, maybe 8 games of decent length. Still at 43! So what’s it based on anyway? Time in game? Emblems or bloodpoints earned? What should I focus on? I want to be at level 52.5 before time 4 opens, which is 75%, but at this rate...... ugh Does anyone else feel like the grind10 comments 181 views last activity

A big room. On the floor along one wall, flashlights with every possible combination of add-ons. They respawn a few seconds after being picked up. Throughout the rest of the room, bots. Killers standing still. Standing at windows. Walking forward and backward along a straight line. Picking up and dropping a survivor bot. Pulling a survivor bot from a locker - who then wiggles off and leaps2 comments 221 views last activity

Yup, Broken Mode. It’s exactly how it sounds. It’s a mish-mash of ideas that the devs want to try out with no regard to balance. Players play at your own risk of insanity! Might be a lot of fun tho! see how perks perform and decide if they’re worth developing for the main game. test out new killer powers. see the effect of nerfs and buffs before they are finalized. save the time, troubl6 comments 71 views last activity

......maybe the game is pretty balanced after all! Both roles can have a great game in the same match. Both roles can be fun. Both roles can be boring. Both roles can dominate a match. Both roles can get crushed. Both roles can be mega toxic. Both roles have maps that benefit or hinder them. Both roles have exceptionally powerful items/add-ons/offerings. Don’t nerf SWF. Buff killer instead! Give him a sidekick with comms (6th player). It can harass survivors to even the field, and the killer role can finally be social as well! Oh, and help out solo survivors by mostly pairing them with solo killers. SWFs go against the killer team. Exceptions if a 3-man SWF needs a solo 4th or something. I call the sidekick “The Imp”. There are things that people will never really know unless they visit the forums, and the majority of players probably don’t spend much time here. Updated tips on the loading screen could clear up confusion for newer players and help to get everyone on the same page. If you are blinded while carrying a survivor, drop that survivor in the dying state. With a 60 second cooldown, this will reset all their recovery and wiggle progress. Also with a 60 second cooldown, the survivor who blinded you becomes exposed for 15/20/30 seconds. (Please note that even while the perk is cooling down, the carried survivor will still always be dropped in the dying state.)23 comments 172 views last activity

Put egg “traps” around the map. If a survivor gets close, a Facehugger leaps out, grabs their face (survivor screams of course), injures them, and infects them with a xenomorph embryo. Facehugger will then patrol the area for 30 seconds (bot AI) looking for other nearby victims before it curls up and dies. At the time of his choosing, the killer can teleport (Freddy style) to an infected s13 comments 181 views last activity

I put this in another thread, but I think it was passed over and not read since it was more than 12 words (A sad reality for most of the more thoughtful posts here on the forum...) Anyway, I think this could really freshen up Discordance as a useful perk. I’ve made slight edits from my original post btw. So, what do you think? “Discordance is so annoying! Useful, but annoying. Okay so this challenge was inspired by a meme I recently saw - this one here: So the challenge is this: Describe a song melody and see if anyone can guess title, or all the lyrics from the portion you hummed. You can only use “dum” “da” “duh” and other similar variations. Use caps and dashes to your advantage! After a failed guess, you may reply8 comments 51 views last activity

It may seem OP at first, but this could be reigned in with cool downs, set times, and charges and such. Imagine a power where the killer can construct small phase walls. The wall is, at standard, the same width as the killer’s capsule. It can be placed anywhere, but will auto-affix itself to any nearby walls at a perpendicular angle. (Or maybe not on the auto part, if we want skilled placement4 comments 41 views last activity

Match results screen. Myers. The way he walks. It just looks so, so......... so janky! Did he always strut like that? I thought it was more of a cold, bide-your-time stalker walk. But now it seems like more of a jerky, wide-legged fast-waddle-with-purpose and liquid shoulders. Am I just losing my mind here?! 🤪8 comments 301 views last activity

That’s the challenge where you have to complete the trial before the last gen pops while using Ruin. Anyway, I just discovered that the only thing that matters is the gens not popping and powering the exit gates. You can do this with a 3k. Let the last survivor get the hatch or hunt them, but do NOT close the hatch since this powers the gates. I just completed the challenge myself with someone1 comments 131 views last activity

I feel like I need to look at the ground to shoot forward now. If I’m looking at a normal height, I’ll way overshoot my target! I don’t mind looking up for distance, but I DO mind looking down for normal range. Please change this back.0 comments 41 views last activity

Let’s get creative! We all know that hexes are meant to be crazy powerful, which is why they’re hexes. Post your ideas! Real ideas, not goofy or unrealistic ones. Let’s give the devs some fuel for future chapter loadouts! So as we’ve all been told, the relationship between predator and prey is an evolutionary arms race. The prey grows to become a mighty mammoth, the tiger develops giant sabre-teeth to compensate. The prey shrinks so that the teeth are a burden, and the giant fangs are lost to time. It’s circular, not linear. Introducing The Darwin! He evolves and adapts, but so do his prey.... I would love for this minor feature to be added in. Post-match we always see our bloodpoints tally up, followed by any post-match bonuses. The bonus number disappears quickly, and if you miss it, it’s gone. Could we add in a feature to mouse-over the bloodpoint total and see those bonuses again? In particular I want to see how much I earned at base, with a separate line for offerings (maybe ev1 comments 11 views last activity

I know, a Head is a Head, but surely there’s away. While I know it’s very unlikely to have a whole new “hat” slot appear for cosmetics, there could still be a work-around. For example, the crown could be a charm! Just work the model so that an invisible thread connects it to the survivor’s hip and places the crown where it’s supposed to be. Things will be tougher for killer though, since thei8 comments 211 views last activity

Discoverable actions in the lobby would be awesome! The current lobby has chains and cages and Mr. Twitchy. How great would it be to click and pull down on a chain to make Mr. Twitchy’s cage rise up!? (ie grab it the same way you grab and rotate your character) I know it’s prolly too late for for this particular lobby (though it’s really just begging for such a feature!), but maybe keep this in0 comments 21 views last activity

The countdown until new tome pages open. Yup. It could really benefit from greater accuracy. For page 3 it said “1 day” which I took to mean “tomorrow”. What it really mean was “1 day and 23 hours”. Then today, it said “1 hour”. Only after an hour did it start counting down minutes! 😖 Let’s improve the countdown please!5 comments 81 views last activity

BBQ doesn’t proc when PH sends a survivor to a cage. A cage isn’t a hook. Makes sense. I get it. Still, could we at least get stacks for bloodpoints? It’s ok if we don’t get auras. I think this is a fair compromise!13 comments 201 views last activity

Hatch spawn now seems to work the same way as on mobile! (I see this as a good thing btw). So if you don’t play on mobile, here’s the low-down: 5 gens reman: no hatch 4 gens remain: no hatch 3 gens remain: no hatch 2 gens and 2 survivors remain: hatch 1 gen and 3 survivors remain: hatch 0 gens remain, regardless of survivors left in trial: hatch. So I was recently playing on console.4 comments 181 views last activity

Ok so I’m at Gas Heaven. Meg is working in the garage. I come in, trap the door, and then proceed to break the pallet she threw behind the pickup. She runs over to the door, turns around, backs into the trap, and then safely swivels around it with her butt facing it the whole maneuver. I was flabbergasted! Can anyone explain how this worked?3 comments 71 views last activity

Weapon: A shovel Appearance: Similar build to Trapper, but grotesque with decaying skin and muscle. Significant portions of his body are simply skeletal. Perks: Boneyard: 3/4/5 additional dull totems will spawn. Buried Secrets: All totems are buried under dirt piles that survivors must dig through before they can see or cleanse the totem. At least 5 dirt piles will have nothing bene9 comments 101 views last activity

They don’t hafta be huge, maybe just a little flash in the corner, but some way to know that I’ve done 60 seconds of stealthing or that I haven’t kicked the same 4 gens all match and finally damaged a 5th.
