For me, I was survivor. 1 dead, the rest of us dead-on-hook. Killer shows up right as we finish the last gen. Attacks my teammate...NOED. Chases me clear across the map, but I’m testing out Hope for the first time ever. Saved my freakin hide! Killer breaks off to go find his slug. Apparently finds my other teammate there and downs him immediately. Picks him up. I’m near a gate with 1 light20 comments 191 views last activity

Details can be hammered out later, and it’s just an idea in the event that other game modes WERE TO BE introduced, so I’m not here to argue about how it would affect queue times etc. Anyway, the general idea is that the game starts with 1 killer and some number of survivors (4, 8, 10?) on an incredibly huge map. I’m not quite sure what the survivors’ objective (or associated perks) would be0 comments 21 views last activity

It’s simple. Simply have it produce scratch marks around the sound bubble. Maybe within a 6-meter radius from where the pebble lands. Easy to add. Effective, as it gives the killer more reason to investigate the area, thus spending extra time there. Might even help to throw him off your trail in a chase. May also help distract campers. Not OP because the killer can choose to simply ignor5 comments 41 views last activity

When it’s active, your gen will regress when you leave it. When you then break Ruin, does the gen continue to regress as though damaged? Do you still need to got tap it? Or does it just stay at the level it was at when Ruin was broken?1 comments 51 views last activity

PS4. This has happened twice in my past 3 matches. Seems to occur when 3 survivors remain and one is being rescued from hook (in second hook stage). First time, I rescued somebody, but before completing the rescue, I got stuck under the hook, became unresponsive, and then teleported around to nearby spots. Second time, I was the one on the hook. Teammate came to rescue me and was booted as s0 comments 11 views last activity

Ok, first what is an Exit Gate Control Node and second, what issues would it fix? The What: The Control Node is a 3rd exit gate switch that spawns on a pedestal somewhere in the middle of the map. It can only be used once exit gates are powered, just like normal switches. It has a 15-second progress bar. All-or-nothing, like a totem. Cannot be 99’d. When a survivor activates the Node5 comments 41 views last activity

I think it would be fun if each map had some triggers that survivors or killers (or both, depending on the trigger) could choose to activate. For balance, most triggers should have both good and bad effects, so you have to weigh your options as to whether it’s worth it. Some will be purely beneficial for one side. I know there are a few environmental, but I’d like to see something more meanin1 comments 11 views last activity

Scenario. You have Kindred and a teammate is on the hook. Question: is there any way to know if the hooked teammate is running Kindred? As far as I can tell, the blue “beneficial perk” icon appears at the bottom of the screen no matter who is providing the aura information. Why it’s important: I need to know if my teammates can see the auras. Can I stay on the gen knowing that the closer8 comments 371 views last activity

PS4 Just played as Steve against Plague and got sick. Anytime I worked a gen while sick (didn’t matter if I’d made it to Broken or not) I would start some serious rapid-fire puking! Poor guy couldn’t even get a breath in between up-chucks.... Not sure if there’s an add-on causing this, as I never saw the killer’s loadout. I didn’t have 20+ minutes to spectate as the final 2 survs urban eva1 comments 21 views last activity

Editing to clarify. This thread is not about the In-game store for cosmetics, but the Merch Store where you buy physical, real-world shirts and hats and jackets for yourself. For me the answers are easy. 1) Bunny Feng Hoodie. (My wife would love it!) 2) The metallic-looking Nea mask. (Everyone’s wearing face masks right now anyway. Why is this not already a thing?!)6 comments 31 views last activity

You search for a lobby. Wait.....wait......wait....bloodweb....wait...loadout....wait...make a sandwich.... You get the idea. So you finally find a lobby and nobody is ever readied up because they’re all off doing other things as well. What does this lead to? Well more waiting by golly! How about a button we can push while searching for the lobby that tells the system to automatically, immedi3 comments 21 views last activity

First, as has been discussed ad nauseum, let’s get rid of “slightly / moderately / considerably” and use actual numbers. You guys know why, so I’m not going to elaborate here. But the other thing I want to see is MORE numbers, deeper descriptions. For example, Let’s say I’m a new player and I have a brown medkit with 16 charges. I put in this shiny green add-on that removes 8 charges, but let’s8 comments 121 views last activity

Ok so I was pig. 3 Survs left and 1 has RBT. One of them keys out and I stomp the hatch which powers the remaining gen. Why, then, didn’t the RBT activate. She just causally booty-scoots her way out the exit, scoring herself some free headgear in the process! Doesn’t closing the hatch count as popping gens for other perks? Or am I mixing that up with the “powering exit gate” effect?1 comments 41 views last activity

Ok, so the inspiration for this idea was a bug report I just read about a phantom wall in the Gas Heaven garage. What if we added Fog Doors around the maps!? These are normal doors, but have a curtain of dark fog within the inside the frame. You can walk through them, but you can’t see through them. Fog Doors block out the red stain if it comes from the other side. Killer gets the Insid1 comments 41 views last activity

Maybe it’s just me and my luck of the draw, but I haven’t seen Badham Preschool once since yesterday’s patch - and I just realized! (I’ve played a lot too!) Prior to last week, it felt like 80% of my matches were there. It a very balanced map (in my opinion) but I was still getting sick of it. It’s nice to have a break. But still..... is Badham missing. Has anyone seen it recently?3 comments 41 views last activity

Oftentimes when my survivor nears a gen - within range to interact - they’ll recoil back as though they missed a skill check before they can actually start repairing. This doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to warrant a bug report. PS4. Last time this happened,I had Claudette and the killer was using Overcharge.2 comments 41 views last activity

This is not a complaint, just a curiosity. BHVR has a history of choosing Tuesdays for content releases, patches, and updates. So my question is this: why do Rift tome pages release on Wednesdays instead? Wouldn’t it be better to strengthen the Tuesday tradition?2 comments 51 views last activity

I mean, realistically, if you’re bleeding a bunch, you’ll get light-headed, fatigued, crampy and such. If you’re bleeding all match, I think it makes sense to get more skill checks or something. Maybe additional effects the more you bleed. Aura blindness, dulled sounds, foggy screen edges, etc. Perhaps you reach certain thresholds at which point a new effect permanently affects the rest of your6 comments 81 views last activity

And I love it! If you haven’t discovered it yet, just play survivor and barely push your movement stick ever so slightly. Your character’s feet will go crazy and it’s a real hoot to dance around like that with others! Though I don’t know for sure, I can’t imagine this works for PC players as for them, you either push the “go” button or you don’t, there’s no slight nudging.23 comments 841 views last activity

I didn’t see about it in the patch notes. I’m pretty sure I used to get 2 full heals from a yellow, and that it was sped up (yellow healing bar). Admittedly, I would usually go in with a medkit + add-ons, so my memory may be skewed, but I would get medkits from chests also. Can someone clarify? Is yellow supposed to only be good for 1 health state (with some left over) as it is now after the3 comments 101 views last activity

Backpack. Enter the match with an empty BackPack and carry an additional 1/2/3 items that you find during the match. Keep all items and add-ons in your BackPack if you survive. Items that you assign to the Backpack cannot be equipped, used, or dropped during the match.14 comments 141 views last activity

It’s happened twice now, once in each of the 2 games I’ve played. I unbind Victor, move to his view, but can’t move. I can rotate though. Pouncing won’t dislodge him either. When I switch back to Charlotte, I can see Victor’s aura in the ground up to his shoulders. (The view/camera height looks fine as Victor though.) Switching back and forth between Charlotte and Victor doesn’t help. I d10 comments 281 views last activity

When running as survivor, I see my own scratch marks appear for a split-second and then vanish. PS4. Elodie. Using Appraisal, Deception, Dead Hard, & Urban Evasion (all of these at 2nd tier). My guess is that Deception is the culprit since it actually affects scratch marks.0 comments 21 views last activity

(The name’s a joke. If this perk were released, a more serious name would be needed. Open to ideas!) At the start of the match, a generator is blocked by the Entity and will have a white aura visible to the killer. After 45 seconds, the generator will unblock and a random other un-repaired generator becomes blocked for 45 seconds. This process continues for as long as the hex is active. Smoke Screen: When you reach the 2nd hook stage of sacrifice, a thick, blinding shroud of fog envelops your hook in a radius of 4/6/8 meters. The fog is impossible to see through, and the killer is blinded to all auras within this fog. Auras of all objects and walls within the fog are shown to survivors with a white outline. (This includes traps). The fog persists for 8 seconds after you are u9 comments 71 views last activity

When you enter the 2nd stage of sacrifice on a hook, you will receive 2/3/4 difficult skill checks WHILE YOU STRUGGLE. Hitting a skill check grants a 7% chance of immediately pulling off the hook. If the killer is within 10 meters of your hook, you gain an additional 3% chance.9 comments 91 views last activity

Blendette was in the exit gate area, but there was no aura. It seemed like she was in the corner behind one of the brick pillars. Once blood warden expired, her aura returned showing her crouch out into the middle of the exit area. She didn’t have any aura blocking perks, and no Urban Evasion to sneak in from the outside. I was patrolling the gate, so I’d have caught her if she didn’t run and le8 comments 441 views last activity

Here’s what I mean by this. Surely there’s a way to know whenever somebody receives certain error messages. In particular, I’m talking about: You have been disconnected from the host Another player disconnected while the match was loading Then, whenever you detect that a player got one of these messages, provide remedy by moving them up to the very front of the matchmaking queue so they2 comments 1 views last activity

Only on applicable maps of course. I don’t see how this is actually useful other than zoning unobservant survivors, but hey, could be fun. Imagine chasing someone upstairs from the preschool basement, and down them because they turned away from a “breakable wall” that blocked their path to the outside. Then you pick them up and carry them right on through it to a hook. 😂3 comments 31 views last activity

As we all know, Kindred is often thought of as helping to level the playing field between solos and SWF. SWF doesn’t really need it because they can just tell their friends what’s happening. Task Manager is intended to be a companion perk to Kindred, providing even more information that SWFs can just tell each other. Salt In The Wound The only thing better than being the best is flaunting your superiority. When you are within the exit gate area, or within 3 meters of an open hatch, you may throw your item with tremendous force at another character (survivor or killer). This stuns them and staggers them backward. You may throw items 1/2/3 times. Any item you throw will be claimed by The Entity if it is in4 comments 41 views last activity

I’ll start. When a survivor runs out of time in EGC, let the killer see a loud noise notification bubble to show where they were when they died. I mean, they are screaming after all. Loud enough to be heard map-wide at that.33 comments 292 views last activity

This is the challenge that asks you to get 3 safe unhooks in one match. It’s labeled as a Master Challenge but its reward is equal to the non-master challenges. It pays 25k bloodpoints and 3 rift fragments. Every other Master Challenge on this Tome page rewards 35k bloodpoints and 5 Rift fragments. Not sure if this is a “bug” per se, but I wanted to bring it up.6 comments 41 views last activity

In your excitement to to start the next trial, you pay little attention to properly building and stabilizing your sacrificial hooks. Survivors on a hook slowly rotate at a rate of 1/2/3 RPM. They can only be rescued from a cone of 180/90/60 degrees in front of them, and their camera view is locked straight ahead.2 comments 21 views last activity

So I played killer today and noticed that I could see survivor auras when they were hiding behind a gen. But here’s the kicker: it only worked when I turned so that the gen’s aura was near the side of the screen. At that point, I saw the survivor’s brighter aura separate from the gen’s somewhat duller one. Is this a change? Was it a one time thing? Has anyone else noticed this?
