“Crossover” - A Rough Framework for a Game Mode

Details can be hammered out later, and it’s just an idea in the event that other game modes WERE TO BE introduced, so I’m not here to argue about how it would affect queue times etc.

Anyway, the general idea is that the game starts with 1 killer and some number of survivors (4, 8, 10?) on an incredibly huge map.

I’m not quite sure what the survivors’ objective (or associated perks) would be just yet, other than being the last one alive, but the killer’s goal is to down and convert them.

Once the killer downs a survivor, he can convert them into a raving maniac, essentially causing them to switch teams. Now the survivor helps to hunt down, attack, and convert other survivors until there’s just one left! (This is the...Crossover!)

  • Each time a survivor crosses over, their perks are replaced by the killer’s currently equipped perks.
  • Each time a survivor crosses over, all remaining survivors gain the perks that the lost teammate had, in addition to what is already equipped. (ie the final 2 survivors will be freaking perk beasts!)

And that’s it, essentially. Lotsa details missing, obviously, but I think the framework here sounds like a lot of fun! You thoughts?
