Flashlight training range

  • A big room.
  • On the floor along one wall, flashlights with every possible combination of add-ons. They respawn a few seconds after being picked up.
  • Throughout the rest of the room, bots.
  • Killers standing still. Standing at windows. Walking forward and backward along a straight line. Picking up and dropping a survivor bot. Pulling a survivor bot from a locker - who then wiggles off and leaps back in. Breaking pallets that respawn. Standing in pallets you can drop.
  • You can walk up to any killer and change who they are to learn differences (ie Hag is hard to blind at pallets, Demogorgon has a unique animation when picking up slugs)
  • You can walk up to any killer and start a 5-second countdown, after which it begins chasing you. Practice loops, perks, and other skills while this is active. (Each type of tile should be present in this room.)

Anyway, you get the idea. One of the reasons flash lighting is so hard is because opportunities to hone the skill are rare for solos like me. And when you’re bad at it, most opportunities are wasted, deadly, and expensive.

  • Flashlights seems kinda strange since the update. All the more reason that we need this feature!

  • Flashlights were reverted to pre-4.1 status, I believe, from what I saw. It's an adjustment that is going to take time to get used to again, since it will require using the flashlight at a greater range instead of trolling with it at close ranges like Survivors are used to. Of course, since it's a change to their playstyles - there is outcry about it being 'different' or 'wrong'.
