I propose death-hook splatter - as an actual game mechanic

Hear me out. Let’s have the Entity chomp down just a bit harder when it finally eats a survivor off the hook. The tremendous pressure causes the now dead survivor’s body the spurt all over the ground in the area surrounding the death-hook, within an 8 meter radius. This zone will be easy to identify visually - such as emitting thick black Entity smoke.

For the remainder of the match, the affected area will affect characters who pass through it. Survivors are slightly hindered when in the zone (equal to the debuff from Freddy’s traps.)

Each Killer gets a small buff from the zone - unique to their power. For example, if Blight starts his rush from within the affected zone, he can attack on the first rush without bouncing off anything.

The zones will not change the game much because:

1) There typically isn’t much action around used death-hooks

2) The zones aren’t huge

3) At best, only 3 of them will ever affect gameplay

Still, these zones add a unique element to the game and could make an impact in clutch situations.

How do you think this zone should affect other killers? Remember, it should be minor and should be unique to their power (maybe dissipating all chainsaw heat, for example).
