Because of the music that was teased, or the teaser. I mean it makes sense right? Maybe a killer that has a power that disorients and disables survivors through sound.10 comments 91 views last activity

You can tell how much a survivor in the dying state has recovered by determining the intensity of their aura at all times. When within 20 meters of a downed survivor, you leave no scratch marks, blood trails, and make 100% less noise from your grunts of pain while being injured. Healing a survivor from the dying state to the injured will reveal the killer's aura to both you and the survivor yo7 comments 51 views last activity

I just really hope it doesn't disappoint us like the last one... The twins seemed really cool at first, but then we saw how they worked. This is a pretty interesting one, it seems very unique. I am going to assume that the character shown in the teaser is the survivor. Can't wait for the actual trailer, or big reveal.4 comments 111 views last activity

My god they are strong as hell lol. They were also very fun to use and just strong, it lasts very long. I am honestly scared of using addons on a killer like clown and Plague because I am afraid I will get too used to them. But anyway, they are definitely one of his strongest addons like the cigar box. I have yet to try a few of his other addons though. The gloves that change the arc of his6 comments 91 views last activity

When survivors think of hiding, they usually think of a nearby tree, locker, or big patch of vegetation (bamboo, or tall grass, objects) to hide behind. But what if I told you that those aren't the only things you can use to your advantage? Take finished generators or fire barrels for example. If you are an injured survivor trying to stay hidden from the killer, the killer is going to check the9 comments 131 views last activity

Just a quick few tips that actually do help when playing against him. He is definitely not OP by any means and although he can feel overwhelming, you can play around his strong power. Drop pallets early if you are in the dream world or about to fall asleep: Doing this will rob him of the use you will get out of his snares (which are far stronger than his fake pallets). His snares are the rea18 comments 301 views last activity

Along with being able to tell how far survivors have recovered on the ground by determining the intensity of their aura (at all times now, without the weird 48 meter range restriction), healing a survivor from the dying to injured state will stop both you and the rescued survivor from leaving scratch marks, blood trails, and give you both a 10% haste status effect for 15 seconds. Bloody coil - Whenever a healthy survivor disarms a trap, they become injured. Increases the time it takes to disarm a trap with this addon to 1.5 extra seconds from 0.9 extra seconds. Survivors suffer from the hindered status effect for 30 seconds if an injured survivor disarms the trap. It now takes 12 seconds to escape the bear trap when caught in it by yourself It now takes 3.5 seconds to rescue a survivor caught in a bear trap The Trapper now can hold 2 traps at base (starts with one) Injured survivors who escape a trap by themselves should be downed (Idea by Otzdarva) Healthy survivors who escape a trap should be afflicted by deep wounds Survivors can no longer use17 comments 251 views last activity

I am not here to hate on what other people want or the other games, just voicing my opinion on them. Tall lady from RE8 or any other RE monster - She is too tall, literally. Imagine looping her around a normal tile with a window and pallet. And what about all the other RE monsters like Tyrant? They would be downgraded from this awesome almost unstoppable beast to a "killer" who can be stopped104 comments 4,785 views last activity

Here is mine from just last night. One of many encounters. And one of a few other clips I have. Cheating has become more frequent for sure. I have had about 8-10 matches with a cheater already, and many more to come! (I will repost the video if I can figure out how to block the cheaters name)9 comments 71 views last activity

I know you will read this at some point since you let me know you watch me on the forums, and I have to say that during the time you waited to trash talk me during the endgame chat after freezing the game (literally over 30 minutes) I had the most fun time playing some tf2 in the background. I mean seriously, I had an amazing team and I was topscoring. I think I really upset you since you waite0 comments 21 views last activity

The character portraits are great, look nicer, and you have all of the information you need along with the hook timer and hook states (although there only needs to be 2 little marks but it is still better than what we have). It is also very simple.27 comments 591 views last activity

The most annoying statement for survivor imo (not hating on anyone) and the aftermath of the DS nerf"Make DS base kit for survivors" Making DS base kit is just another band-aid fix to tunneling. Just look at where we are now. The whole reason DS even exists and does what it does is because of tunneling. Due to how the game worked back then (and still now for the most part), killers had to tunnel to gain the upper hand on the survivor team because it was the only way they could manage; it was a33 comments 471 views last activity

I think it would be nice to have firecrackers in general for survivors because they are fun and have a different use than other items. They also aren't unfair in any way with good counterplay. I would like to get them in the bloodweb and maybe even in chests. It would also add variety.4 comments 71 views last activity

The cheaters are literally freezing the match after hooking themselves multiple times before anyone can even move right at the start of the match to force people to DC and get matchmaking banned. Why hasn't this been officially addressed? You can't even report them because when you click on their profile IN-GAME it just sends you to a random user's profile. I ran into the same guy earlier. Apparently, me warning people about him when we were in a lobby angered him (win for me). I recorded this second encounter with him as well. He is literally using cheats and glitches his account to be sent to someone else that is not his own. So first of all, HOW!? And second, he is most likely going to target me next because he didn't like how I was telling the1 comments 21 views last activity

I have been playing a lot of Wraith lately to see how well his buff affects him, I have to say that I am definitely not disappointed. I can actually sneak around without being seen while cloaked. I can literally walk up to 8 meters close to survivors before they can even notice me. I only got to go against one decent Wraith player (with less than decent teammates so I didn't see much of that Wra46 comments 611 views last activity

I recorded the game, but there is a problem. The cheater is somehow playing someone else's account I think? When I click on the cheater's profile in-game, it sends me to a streamer called Dreede Is there any way I can find the actual cheaters account and can I find this person in steam's "recently played with" tab?2 comments 51 views last activity

https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/trb-midway-update Is this even necessary? I get it, lots of people say pretty outlandish things, but out of other better things to work on BHVR chooses to implement a system that will protect people's feelings. Again, there is nothing wrong with the chat filter. But why don't they instead focus their resources on things that are far more i27 comments 361 views last activity

That would be nice. For survivors, everyone would have to escape to get one to encourage team play. For killers, it would encourage them to get better at the game. This is a pretty rough idea and probably isn't exactly the best, but I just thought that it might be a nice QoL thing to have.11 comments 81 views last activity

I am asking because I just had a whole group of survivors go against me as freddy and as I hooked the second to last survivor, I saw claudette getting into a locker too late (I could see her get in there). Her excuse was that she already had the b However, when I got to the endgame chat they started insulting me saying I was cheating with wall hacks because they were spectating the Claudette and1 comments 21 views last activity

Giving survivors items. Giving your fellow survivors items is a very underrated and often never used feature in solo queue. I use it all the time to give my teammates a medkit to use. It is actually so helpful and I am shocked I never see anyone take advantage of it. Giving the teammate who was just unhooked a medkit so that they can heal themself while you go run off to do get a head start on7 comments 171 views last activity

What do you guys think that dead hard could be reworked to do, but still be useful? The devs mentioned that they were reworking it a while back, but we still have no news on it. The only thing I can think of how it works is if it changes to do with protection hits.35 comments 262 views last activity

Along with the heal conversion thing, you also retain the amount of healing progress you had if you are downed. So if you heal yourself halfway and are downed then hooked, you keep that healing progress.3 comments 71 views last activity

A totem counter would buff solo queue and not SWF meaning that survivors could better coordinate totem cleanses for a perk like NOED or just to know what your teammates are up to. It could also let you know if it is worth your time looking for totems for inner strength or just points. Would it be a good addition, or give too much unnecessary information? And should it also be visible to the kil0 comments 21 views last activity

It makes it really hard to play as Trapper and it still doesn't make any noise when survivors move in it (correct me if I'm wrong on that one). They need to be just a little bit thicker so Trapper can hide his traps.12 comments 111 views last activity

Your aura is revealed to all survivors. This way, perks like bond and empathy can still be used and if anyone needs healing they can come to you for a speedy one because they know where you are.0 comments 31 views last activity

You might say that hex totems already are, but that is fully dependent on what the killer does and is not guaranteed especially for NOED. NOED is technically a secondary objective, but the killer shouldn't have to run a perk that creates one. I think that killers should just in general have a side thing to do that can benefit both survivors and killer. Because of the way the maps are RNG and ran4 comments 61 views last activity

Changes to her RBTs (no RNG): Getting rid of the RNG while keeping the time-wasting part of her traps Each time a generator is completed, a survivor has their RBT activated. When a survivor's RBT is activated, the survivor will have to search two boxes out of the four other boxes on the map to get it off before it activates. "The Game" map Just like in the PTB, the new version of "The Game" map is extremely survivor sided. The map was already survivor-sided because of the number of safe pallets that were on there and now it is worse especially with some questionable breakable wall placements. The new graphical update to this map looks incredible and the sort of warehouse design to make it more open was fantastic0 comments 21 views last activity

I don't want people to just come in and rant about how terrible solo queue is, just be honest. What is your average experience with solo queue? Is it as bad as people make it out to be, or is it actually not bad? In my experience, it isn't bad. I mostly have fun games even with teammates who aren't the best. I occasionally have frustrating games with my team, but it is still fine.50 comments 601 views last activity

Freddy is not OP as I have mentioned in the past. However, I will admit that it is kinda lame how he can do so much for doing nothing. I am talking about how survivors fall asleep. The fact that survivors can fall asleep and suffer from Freddy leeching off of them because of it is a bit weird. I know when to use his chainsaw and all of the mobility uses for it, but I can't seem to consistently hit survivors running up to me because I lose them. Any tip for this will be appreciated.2 comments 11 views last activity

I have noticed a few threads saying that the perk should be nerfed because it destroys stealth killers. I think that it should just not work if the killer you are up against has the undetectable status effect. Many new players don't know what spine chill does either, they don't know that they can just look to the side to approach silently. But it is pretty dumb how survivors can be warned that50 comments 1,021 views last activity

When any character fully heals themselves with iron will lvl, 3 the half-second after they are healed they make groaning noises as if they were injured. Ok, sure the killer can still slug you to avoid it, but would you rather be hooked or slugged and picked up? Being slugged means that your team can come and pick you up and the new DS will still allow you to avoid a hook state even if you are slugged. Currently, DS allows you to have the protection of it even if you aren't being tunneled and while you work on objectives (generators and healing55 comments 711 views last activity

The oni chase music, menu music, p head's menu music, p head's terror radius music, the demo's chase music, the demo's terror radius music, and many other soundtracks all just sound so good. They all manage to keep the main DBD theme in the menu as well with some other elements to give each killer a feeling of uniqueness which I find very cool. The perk seems just a little weak since it only activates if the killer has something that allows aura reading, but it is still a great change, same for DS. When a generator is being repaired while under 50%, a survivor will convert twice the amount of time they were on the generator into exhaustion. Exhaustion, in general, is paused when on a generator regardless if a survivor is repairing one with under 50% progress.
