I remember reading a post or two about "kickstarting" a generator after the killer kicks it so if you can tell me who has made a post regarding this topic before I will add their names to the post to give them credit. So this is a super easy and simple change to kicking generators that should be base kit for all killers. Every time a killer kicks a generator, a survivor has to "kickstart" a gene3 comments 41 views last activity

I am mainly talking about Deathbound and forced penance, I feel like trail of torment is fine as it is. Maybe for death bound it could make the person who healed a person out of range suffer from hindered (-5% movement speed) as well as oblivious and reveal the aura for a short time (3-5 seconds) when straying too far from the healed person. Maybe it could have a powerful effect on killing a su10 comments 151 views last activity

Since survivors usually take off the reverse bear traps pretty easily and quickly before they're even activated, wouldn't it make sense to "punish" them for doing it? I don't know much lore of saw, but I do know that the people in the "game" are punished for breaking rules... right? Correct me if I'm wrong. The pig is in need of buffs and I am just making a few rough ideas. Survivors being injur1 comments 41 views last activity

Instead of stunning him, he should be exposed as if he was uncloaking for a short duration. Maybe like 10 seconds where the flashlights shine on him for at least 2-3 seconds. I mean how he slowly reveals himself when uncloaking, that is how the flashlights could work on a cloaked Wraith to keep it from ruining his stealth completely. This would be better than burning the Wraith out of his cloak11 comments 61 views last activity

Hi @Almo , I hope I don't come off as rude or snarky, and forgive me for assuming you would also reply to this post in the first place since I saw someone else put your name in their title and got a reply. But I am sure that many people, including myself, would like to know why DS hasn't changed. It is a perk that is extremely powerful and can even be abused if a survivor jumps in a locker or80 comments 1,621 views last activity

Status effects such as blindness and hemorrhage are too weak for the most part and don't really have a use. Even having everyone blind is meh. I am going to just list a bunch of rough ideas that they can do to help the killer and hinder the survivors. Also, the changes or buffs that I come up with will probably not be the best, but these status effects should just have something more to them.2 comments 71 views last activity

Ruin and undying only works well if the killer does a good job scaring survivors off of generators. It also doesn't last nearly as long as people like to believe, once it is gone it is gone for good. DS + unbreakable on the other hand creates a lose-lose situation for the killer. It is ridiculous. Some people might argue that DS + unbreakable is also one use just like ruin + undying. (Not including nurse since we all know how strong she is) Let's just compare the Wraith and Oni's base kit (no addons) for reference. What does the virgin Wraith have for his power? The Wraith is a stealth killer who has a bell that he can use to cloak himself. During the cloak, the Wraith gains undetectable status effect for as long as he is cloaked. Survivors can hear the bell ringing64 comments 4,591 views last activity

There are a few things you can use to figure this one out. Daily salt from survivors. You 3 or 4k. All generators were barely completed or weren't. The most important one: They say something like "such a boring killer to face YAAAWWWN". You get 3 kills or 4 on most games. More than one generator pops quickly but you immediately do what you can to slow them down (slug). You are smooth in a9 comments 91 views last activity

Usually, getting off of a generator with ruin active will result in you losing pretty much all of your progress on it if it was over 50% done. But with repressed alliance, gens don't regress for 30 seconds giving you a little time to do something. One of the most time consuming things you can do when you have this perk is use it when you go to save someone on hook, that way you retain your progre29 comments 1,541 views last activity

I am going to be honest. Self-care used to be my favorite perk, I would literally say that it was the best survivor perk. That is until I used iron will one time and it changed everything. lol self care literally makes you heal yourself twice as slow which seems not so bad at first, but over the course of the whole game, sitting in one spot for 32 seconds is not good in terms of efficiency. Lol seriously, if I stare at a tree from 16 meters away because I see your hand, that is me giving you a chance to live. But no, they just crouch there...waiting... then two smacks later they are down on the floor and put on a hook. Are you doing it to be funny, or do you just really believe you are Claudette? My personal favorites: A deathslinger, nurse, demo, and billy head nodding. The winner of them all is a deathslinger headbanging as he reels you in. Only had this happen once, and it was hilarious. As killer: I like when I trap a survivor in a corner and I have the ability to insta-down them and they start to point at me knowing they are screwed. Same for tbaggin when they know they messed up.5 comments 91 views last activity

I mean like a game that is very similar to dbd in the horror kind of aspect. Seriously, I don't think BHVR realizes how good of a spot they reside in a business sense. You had games like F13, or that Chinese dbd about a year ago?? (idk about this one, might have just been a clone) But all these games have just... ehhh died I guess? If not dead, then definitely not played as much. Dead by dayli41 comments 801 views last activity

Please read first. I have made a post about this before, but I feel that it is more relevant especially right now with moris being nerfed and I feel that this should definitely be implemented as it is not crazy big of a change. The current yellow mori : Allows you to kill a survivor if they are the last one remaining in the trial regardless if they have been hooked or not. Was the mori nerf a good nerf? I will say yes, or at least it is better than what it was (what it "was", I can't believe I am saying this). This was too powerful as it was before and now that it is nerfed, I feel like BHVR might actually be starting to fix big issues. However, this is a bit of a stretch. But still, first the clown and wraith buffs and now this? Things are looking up, I hope it st27 comments 371 views last activity

In the Q&notsomuchanswer stream the devs had a few days ago, they mentioned "true invisibility" for Wraith. It might be a bit of a stretch, but is it possible that they got this idea from the community made patch from months ago? We all can agree that this game is toxic, very toxic on both sides. For most people, this might not even affect you other than just upset you for a bit. Seriously, I know that we have all gotten upset over this game, especially this game because of the balance issues, but I am not going to go over that right now. What is wrong with trying to kobe? Many people do it just for fun because it is you know... funny to yeet yourself off the hook right as someone gets there. In fact, I have witnessed it and performed this many times and so far everyone was chill and goofy about it. I have said before that Freddy is not OP, but I will admit that after a while of listening to people I have concluded that Freddy just has a lot to his base kit. He is not OP, but people feel he has a bit too much in his base kit. How would I balance him or make him more skillful to play while keeping him strong? I have no idea, but if anything I feel like he should have both the snares and dre31 comments 4,021 views last activity

I say this because it feels a bit too slow how Oni charges his demon dash, it always feels like he is juuust falling behind on chases when it comes to this. a .5 or .25 second reduction would feel nice. I know people will say that he is a balanced killer and that he is fine, but if you are against good survivors who actually make sharp turns throughout tiles, then you will probably end up getti1 comments 51 views last activity

My personal preferences include: 1 - Buffing and reworking all of the killers that need it. Also some tweaks for the stronger ones that are in a good spot 2 - Actually reworking maps and designing them better 3 - Add a functioning MMR system I say 1 because good killers will still struggle on more survivor sided maps against survivors who use them well. Taking a break from talking about chapter 18 for now. I have noticed that even with the DC penalties, people still DC quite often. It is kind of funny, sad, and pathetic how some people DC. I literally have a video I recorded of me playing PP head before his uhh " nerf " where I played with no perks and addons so I could figure out his strengths and weaknesses. Today it seems that the hit-validation system they tried before has been enabled on live servers now. Not exactly sure how this is going since it just started today, but what can we expect from BHVR next? I am really hoping they at the least fully acknowledge the outburst from LITERALLY everyone in the upcoming dev livesteam.13 comments 121 views last activity

Is it the devs making uhh "certain questionable" changes to the game or is it Cote, the game director? What is going on with the management over there? There are so many major issues with the game that are just ignored for the most part. I am not sure if the devs have said anything regarding survivor queue times lately. They are insanely long most of the time either with or without crossplay and it doesn't really matter what time of day it is. It is so consistently long. It is painfully annoying to sit there in a lobby for 5 + minutes each time and I am pretty sure it has been like this for months. Note: I do play killer equall58 comments 3,481 views last activity

Why do you like your favorite killer as much as you do? Explain and include the build you like to run on them please. Right now, I don't really have a favorite killer except maybe for pyramid head and Oni. I like Pyramid head for the sheer oppressive capability he has. Fine. There are very few times where even if I had bloodlust it wouldn't matter. Of course, on certain loops such as the crotus penn asylum window loops or fun bus, I kind of wish I had something, but that is just poor map design that will hopefully be fixed once the devs are done with the graphic updates. I would say that without bloodlust, my games have hardly been affected even with weaker ki2 comments 111 views last activity

Specifically, how do I cover someone's name in a little clip? I want to post the endgame chat of a game I just had where I was a trash killer, when the survivors (SWF most likely) brought a key, crotus penn asylum offering, and map. I killed 3 of them. I also recorded the post-game chat in my captures for windows 10. Also also, do I have to censor derogatory remarks?0 comments 11 views last activity

Then there should probably be several skilled killers playing right? If some people don't want to play without bloodlust, (not trying to be rude) then they are most likely an average killer since we can assume they make use of bloodlust whereas a more experienced killer wouldn't need it. This should all mean that there will be more scarier killers for the coming days right? I can't wait to see be20 comments 471 views last activity

Why do inexperienced players hate it? They hate it because it makes them feel helpless and is unfun. They also aren't good enough (due to lack of experience) to actually recover from these strategies. I know what this is like because I was once them, I used to hate camping until I played killer and understood when and when not to camp as well as why killers camp in the first place. I am not exactly sure why people have been using VPN's on DBD, at least that is what I have heard. Does it make queue times shorter? Will you be banned for using one? Will it make you really laggy even if you are playing in your own region?2 comments 71 views last activity

Would be nice to have killers have emotes as well. I was thinking for the wraith pressing 1 could make him play the tune of Dead by Daylight on his bell. Same kind of thing for the huntress, she could hum the dbd tune just for a few seconds. Or other things for different killers.17 comments 161 views last activity

Not sure if everyone knows this, but flicking your mouse towards the survivors and then swinging helps to secure a hit a lot more than you think. That is all.7 comments 71 views last activity

Note: I am simply telling you when you should and should not camp or tunnel if it comes down to it. I do believe that these strategies can be very unfun for the survivors which is why I would advise you to use this in moderation. When should you camp? You should camp a survivor when you see at least 2 survivors swarming the hooked person or if you are in the endgame and need to secure at leas9 comments 111 views last activity

I mean, it makes sense. You are going faster so crashing should be more impactful and take more time to recover from right? So I just had the pleasure of playing with a sandbagging nea who literally sat and tbagged a person on the hook until he died for no reason. I don't ever really see newer nurse players do this, but the best way to play nurse is to use the first blink to get close to a survivor and the second to get a hit on them. I have seen one too many baby nurses get bullied because they didn't do this. It is actually really easy once you get the hang of it.0 comments 21 views last activity

I remember many years ago (about three years) I was once a baby bill hiding in a locker when I heard the terror radius of the killer. I escaped that match. But not before I was hooked on the game.
