  • Literally works the same except... When downing a survivor (in any way), any generators up to a maximum of 3 explode within 32 meters of the killer, immediately regressing 8% of its repair progress. Any survivor on the generator hit by surge will have their aura revealed to the killer for 5 seconds. No more cooldown. Thoughts?

  • Do nothing, and move on. The reason that Bubba is face camping you and the reason that cheater is cheating is because they want to upset you to get a reaction out of you. People keep falling for their bait. Every time I see someone cheating, all the other players who aren't start hurling insults at them, but they don't realize that is what they want. It is okay to talk back to them, but don't

  • It is a really simple little mechanic that could give killers more pressure in general, but not totally breaking the already strong ones. So here is the idea (very short and simple): When kicking a generator, the generator regresses at 200%. Whenever a survivor starts to get back on the generator, they will have to complete a 3-second animation without interruption before being able to repair t

  • Does the iri seal of metatron addon work when using final judgment right now because of a bug? Some survivors thought they saw it work for final judgment, but I was very confused because I forgot what happened in that match.

  • Because I keep getting absolutely garbage fps on Yamaoka and sometimes macmillian. So will we get optimization in the next patch?

  • Let's start off with Clown for example. All he has are bottles which can be useful, but no part of his power specifically helps him with map pressure. He has the chase part down, but it is weak and he has nothing else. Other killers don't have this problem, or have a similar one. For example, Hillbilly has his chainsaw. He can hook a survivor and gun it down to another part of the map. He has

  • To the people who DC on their first hook or even down. Why even play the game? Like, you would rather take a 5 minute (probably more) penalty rather than play through the match? Are you that petty? Ok, so you were the first guy to go down early one, but that doesn't mean the situation is hopeless. The game can definitely turn around for everyone unless you just leave. You don't even try to

  • I really enjoy playing against Wraith and as him even more, especially since he got that mms buff. What's funny is that I got a really good game with him and then a really bad one after lol I got a 3k but hooked my first survivor at 1 gen, sad times. It proves that he still needs work done. Anyway, what makes him so fun to play despite him being weak? Is it because of his simplicity, his plays

  • Once a generator is completed, Coup de grace activates for the remainder of the trial. Every 45 seconds, your lunge will be increased by 100% until lunging longer than what would be a normal lunge. Each generator completed will reduce the cooldown by 5 seconds up to a maximum of 10/15/20 seconds. You can lunge while carrying a survivor if Coup de grace is active. Thoughts?

  • *Controversial thread warning, comment at your own risk. This post is not meant to shame anyone btw, not calling anyone out specifically. So far, I have seen people say things like "DS is useless now and doesn't work against tunneling" which is just plain wrong. Others have said things like "DS is worthless now thx BHVR!" which is also not true. Let me just remind everyone what tunneling in

  • The new Wraith buff is just amazing, we can finally play the Wraith without addons and still do fine. But, he still needs more changes, I know that he was just given two buffs in only a few months, but he still needs more to his cloak. His cloak is his power, and should be simple, yet full of useful things. It might seem like overkill since you just game him 2 buffs, but I argue that he is still

  • For the people is a very underrated perk IMO. The perk allows you to immediately take pressure off of a certain survivor and encourages the killer to switch targets. It is actually an incredibly powerful perk and comes pretty close to being meta, the only reason it is not a meta perk is because of the drawback. The drawback being that you stay broken for 90 seconds. It is still a good perk rega

  • survivor main btw I am sik of all of this garbage that this game has been brought into. Look at what the devs did to wraith, he is absolutely worthless nwo, I can't believe that they did this to him. THen there is the trickster who is also garbage but a lil hot ngl. They even nerfed DS this patch, like wth? Do you really want me to play without it!!?!? LITerally eveyr killer at red ranks runnels

  • The more I thought about it, the more I realized how wrong I probably was about how covid must have not affected how BHVR works all that much. The pandemic has affected literally every single person in the world. Businesses, workplaces, our daily life has changed dramatically. A game management company is already hard to deal with, the pandemic made it even worse. I am not saying that BHVR is a

  • For the people, off the record, and SB are the best 3 perks that will help with this. For the people is the best one of the three though. The best one right now would be "For the people" For the people immediately takes the pressure off of an injured survivor by instantly healing them, for example, the one just rescued from the hook. And it makes the user injured, encouraging the killer to sw

  • The reason I don't think it is ever going to be possible to balance SWF (without bringing major changes to the game at least) is because you can never stop people from using voice chat. The game is designed to play with your friends, but not with voice chat. That's what informational perks such as bond, empathy, or kindred are for. However, you don't need this if you are using voice chat. Survi

  • Add more walls, different structures throughout the maps with lots of open space, and make maps smaller. The reason holding W is so strong is because survivors have nothing in their way to stop them from doing so. On a map like mother's dwelling you can waste loads of time against the average m1 killer by simply running in very straight lines, this is without use of the tiles scattered around.

  • When someone fully channels the map they are using, anyone in a range of 2 meters can see what they see. The glass bead would still be very useful and it would give more help to solo survivors if they need to find generators too. It would also promote teamplay and would be a fun addition.

  • Mistake 1: Refusing to use your power on an injured survivor Yamaoka's wrath is not just for using it on healthy survivors, it can still be used against injured ones. You are depriving yourself from an easier chase from not using your power. I would be careful with this though because of dead hard, and you shouldn't do it every time. Mistake 2: Swinging around small objects such as a pile of ti

  • I figured that I am not a fully-fledged forum member if I didn't make my own killer tier list so here it is. This is taking into account just in general how powerful each killer is and how strong their addons are. The reason I put Blight right behind huntress is because Huntress is better at snowballing. The blight can only really get the ball rolling with the alchemist ring. Don't get me wrong,

  • Can't wait to try out the Wraith's new speed and Blight's new POV. Wraith's new speed will be fun, and Blight's new POV is finally higher than a baby's ankles so that will be interesting. Then there is the DS nerf... >:) Oh yeah, and then there is Trickster if you like him. Eh, Imma get him for the perks.

  • BBQ, pop, trail of torment, and tinkerer. Addons (needed): Akito's crutch + Kanai-Anzen talisman (both speed addons) Once you have your power, wait until you know where survivors are so you can kick a gen for trail of torment, then proceed to go into god mode and gun it to the gens in danger. Bonk any vandals you find and beat the gen back to health. Use TOT if you have your power and see some

  • I have been playing some Oni, but for the last 6 games I just played, they have all been with SWF groups (two 4 mans, one toxic one). Another thing, they were all rank 2's and 1's, there were no other ranks but these two. I still managed to do well despite the odds, but jeez dude it was insane. I am all for challenging games, but not every game I play. Did BHVR turn on some sort of secret MMR

  • Survivors have a hard time trying to gain BP, so I think there should be a few new scoring events in each category. They should all reward a pretty good amount of bloodpoints such as 500 - 1000. Altruism category: Giving medkits to injured survivors and them healing themselves with that medkit should be a scoring event that rewards 500 BP or something else if they are able to heal themselves wi

  • In addition to what it already does, whenever becomes the obsession, nemesis activates. Whenever the obsession leaves a radius of 24 meters from you, their aura will be revealed to you for 4 seconds. Now you can actually do something when that survivor is oblivious and makes sense thematically, or with the lore of the Oni.

  • In addition to what they already do: Bitter murmur: Survivors within 16m of a cleansed dull or hex totem will have their aura's revealed to you for 5 seconds. Should not be added, unnecessary. Dark sense: Reveals the aura of both the killer and all other survivors for 5 seconds whenever a generator is fully repaired or a hex or dull totem is cleansed. Should be added, for solo queueing

  • Apparently, the game thought I was camping so I received a -1 penalty for being too close to a hooked survivor. *Visible frustration Btw, I have been trying to get this achievement for over 15+ games now. UPDATE: IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN ARE YOU JOKING!?! "-1 proximity to hooked survivor" my butt.

  • Franklin's demise: With this perk you can smack items out of survivors' hands and then puke on them. They will be forced to pick up the item before it disappears and be infected quicker, or they will lose their items. Best if used with the addons that increase infection time on objects and on survivors with 2 or more items in the lobby.

  • A chapter with a new killer, map, and survivor. (the average content we get from chapters) or A chapter dedicated to balancing the game and adding new features for the game? I think maybe instead of a full-on balance patch for the game, they could also do some balancing and add some new features to the game so we still get new things while the game gets fixed. Surely new features would be

  • After some very helpful and "friendly" discussion in the last spirit thread I made, I realized the flaws in the idea proposed. It also made me seem like an entitled survivor main who wants spirit nerfed to the ground because lets be honest, one second for the "glimpse" feature was pretty bad and the changes were pretty survivor sided. The glimpses every one second was actually crippling to the

  • You know that noise chainsaws make when they start to saw wood but just barely scrape it? There should be a feature that does that for bubba so we can easily tell how close we can hug certain objects. Unless it already does, there is that random high pitched noise for him already, assuming it is what I mentioned.

  • The problem with the Spirit is that she gives no indication as to when she is phasing. This makes it very unfun to play against her. In Otzdarva's community-made patch notes, he talks about the spirit and the ideas people came up with. The suggestion to rework her was to make her reveal herself to the survivors every second or so during her phasing. This way, it could open up for some actual mi

  • So @Kyledbd had an interesting idea for a small change to the hatch. That idea was basically to only allow players to get hatch if they earned it by not hiding around doing nothing all game. Original thread - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2043735#Comment_2043735 Allowing any survivor to get the hatch to open (if everyone dies) by progressing the game a little bit

  • When I play killer and down someone going for a save: *Hooked survivors are saved by a ghost even though I downed the person saving them first When I play survivor and try to unhook: *Unhook bar is full and I am grabbed somehow It is sad to see :( and yes I know it isn't a good idea to save in front of the killer, but sometimes I just mess up.

  • This is probably going to be very controversial, but eh. I think that looping is a bit silly. The fact that a survivor can just utilize one really powerful area of the map in a way that makes the killer waste most their time on just ONE tile is a bit.. ridiculous. But this along with many other things in this game suffer from the root cause of map design. For example, the reason it can be so

  • If a killer had no cooldown, no limit to how long they can use their power for, who would be the strongest? They still suffer from regular cooldowns such as hitting survivors or missing them with their power but have unlimited duration of their powers. For example, huntress could hold her hatchets and they could infinitely be charged to practically lightspeed and have unlimited hatchets. And yes

  • Because I do, I like running addons like bloody sash + blackened toenail or cracked sakazuki + ink lion on Oni. The bloody sash and blackened toenail make you move at 108% movement speed when using both of them while collecting blood orbs. This makes you not lose any distance on the survivor you are chasing while you collect their blood. I myself just like the extra speed since it is nice to hav

  • When another survivor is hooked, DS immediately deactivates. There have been many times where killer players hook one survivor with DS, and another survivor, but manage to catch the previous survivor and get hit by DS. This little nerf would also make the perk more of an anti-tunnel perk with less room for a cheeky DS stun.
