Let’s be honest, Iron Will gives WAY too much for very little compromise. So how about; No Mither - 50/75/100% reduction in grunts of pain. Iron Will - 25/50/75% reduction in grunts of pain. (These numbers are just placeholders. The point is even at T3 Iron Will won’t 100% reduce grunts of pain). Thoughts?4 comments 51 views last activity

Effects that improve a Killer's hearing, such as the perk "Stridor" or the add-on "Swing Chains," will only be heard from the Killer's perspective. Survivors will no longer hear themselves as louder when the Killer is running such effects. Effects that modify sound are now multiplicative rather than additive. This means that sounds that are reduced to 0%, such as injured noises by the perk "Iro85 comments 1,751 views last activity

Think what you will of Furtive Chase. This discussion isn’t about whether you think it’s a good perk or a bad perk. I just want the stupid condition gone whereby the perk deactivated once the Obsession is dead because it’s so easy to accidentally kill the Obsession when it becomes difficult remembering whether the current Obsession is on death hook or not with all the Obsession switching.31 comments 361 views last activity

The upcoming No Way Out buff is fair and needed IMO, although I’m unsure about my feelings on the location notification. This gets me thinking: are survivor endgame perks overdue for a buff? Adrenaline is probably fine. It already does a lot, and can even turn a game around. No One Left Behind. This one’s obvious. Although it’s last buffs were nice it’s still not enough. This really should ac39 comments 741 views last activity

AND they have great synergy with each other. Babysitter helps give you the info you need to get your Second Wind active, and Camaraderie and Second Wind have amazing synergy too. It bums me out that Babysitter is misunderstood and unfairly compared to BT, because Babysitter is NOT an anti camping perk. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/195861/in-defence-of-steve-s-2 comments 81 views last activity

So Blight had significant fixes and changes to his base kit and add ons since his release (bugs still need to be addressed), and Hex: Undying got a much deserved, and fair nerf. But why have the devs not looked over Dragon’s Grip, or Hex: Blood Favour? Personally, Dragon’s Grip probably doesn’t need changes, but I’m astonished that SOMETHING hasn’t been changed about Blood Favour. I don’t thin18 comments 261 views last activity

Killers... you really had nothing to worry about. Counterforce (on its own) is not the “Overpowered Hex Destroying, game breaking perk” some made it out to be. Having used the perk a lot, I find that it’s simply not practical trying to remember where exactly an aura was revealed, and it’s most definitely not a good idea to be heading towards any revealed auras straight away. Sure, the extra spe7 comments 241 views last activity

The details. THE DETAILS!! Things like hearing the safe room music when entering one of the typewriter rooms. Oh my god. I’m in love with the amount of authenticity, mixed with twists from The Entity. Bravo BHVR. Bravo 👏🏻41 comments 611 views last activity

For the last week(ish) I’ve noticed something weird about the many Legions I’ve been against. None of them use FF. Not even once. And they’re not new players judging from their cosmetics. And in the post match I can see they’re either green or purple ranks. Its so strange.9 comments 141 views last activity

Blooper Team, who make ONLY horror games have signed a cooperation deal (whatever that is) with Konami. Konami only have one well known horror franchise to their name: Silent Hill. Could it be?! Could we finally be seeing a new Silent Hill, or a remake?!?! Please let it be so.5 comments 71 views last activity

This poor Huntress only managed 2 hooks all game because of making the mistake of patrolling the wrong gens at the wrong time. Even though I’m solo, we were all on the same page after the gates were opened. https://youtu.be/c5a5tjPbHCg0 comments 51 views last activity

I want to go back to enjoying this game. I really do. I know I need to chill out. I know that enjoyment partially is a result of CHOOSING to enjoy myself. But man... like my Déjà Vu/3 gen rant earlier, I just can’t handle these teammates lately. And sometimes I don’t feel like playing killer. I’m sorry to be regularly whiny. I hate being a downer. It’s just that I LOVE this game. So I HATE th19 comments 151 views last activity

...until survivors manage to hit a certain consecutive quota of matches where they don’t hand the killer a 3 gen. So tired of the amount of survivors in red ranks that do this!!! I think... I think I’m a Twins main now. Sure I’ll probably still use Clown. He’ll always have a special spot in my heart. But with the big break from using him, and pretty much sticking with Doc & Twins (mostly Twins), I feel inclined to think that Twins might now be my number 1 Main. Do I need a priest?!10 comments 171 views last activity

For pretty obvious reasons: purposely fail a healing skill check, no notification, only 1% regression, wake up. This perk would have been AWFUL for old Freddy had it existed back then.14 comments 271 views last activity

So still have it remove the red stain at BL1 like its original iteration, but instead of also giving Undetectable it instead makes your TR map wide? Although not great against strong survivor teams, this could still have synergy with Coulrophobia or Unnerving Presence for SOME sort of stall during a long chase. Thoughts?10 comments 151 views last activity

With the exception of Nurses Calling, and the current Stridor bug, it’s very satisfying when the killer is starting to head your direction, and being able to freely finish healing yourself, or someone else, without worry of being detected, including if i flub a skill check (handy against Huntress Lullaby). There have been times I’ve been healing just behind something, with the killer just metres12 comments 221 views last activity

What if we had a Drag Me To Hell chapter? (Very funny film) The Survivor could be Christine Brown, ending up in The Entity’s realm upon being dragged to hell, and the killer could be The Lamia.1 comments 41 views last activity

How are you meant to tell what’s happening? I think they need to expand their range of gen aura colours, and have specific colours represent specific information.7 comments 171 views last activity

(TL;DR - Twins now good. Much good killer. Do the thing with Victor. Win. Celebrate with cookie.) So I absolutely HATED the Twins upon release. Some of you already know this as you may have read one of my few epic rants about how I thought they were the absolute WORST killer ever. I went within days of first trying them from “Twins are fun” to “HOW COULD THEY RELEASE SUCH A TOTAL JOKE OF A KI11 comments 201 views last activity

Good gravy... Theories about how the devs operate, and base their decisions off of. Accusations without any iota of solid evidence. Disgruntled claims about bias that make absolutely NO SENSE for a business to make that WANTS to stay in business. First it’s relevant I start with what’s best about Visionary & Open Handed, as like Bond the best and most frustrating thing is often one and the same thing. I can go to the most central part of the map, to start working on the most central gen there is, pan my camera and pretty much see every other single gen from that point, except when on the largest maps if they’ve spawned gens in th9 comments 131 views last activity

I’ve had to resort to my “You Don’t Care About My Fun, So I Don’t Care About Yours” build/strategy. Doc with Distressing, Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Unnerving Presence, Iridescent King, and Iridescent Queen, AND LOTS of Slugging. Yeah... deal with it. I remember the outrage upon the release of Binding of Kin from those using Twins, because I was also one of these people. ”How could the devs overlook the problem with kidnapping Victor?!” ”Why did they allow survivors to be able to do this?!” ”This is so stupid!! Twins are the worst killers ever!!!” Now however, as long as I keep a cool head I don’t care if survivors kidnap Victor. In almost3 comments 101 views last activity

I came up with this ages ago just for fun. Found it while browsing my phone. We’ve had a lot of new members so I thought it would be entertaining to share it again. The Billionaire. Height: Short. Base M/S: 0.6m per second. Terror Radius: Map wide. Abilities: Disapproving Glare. You’re in charge. “When healing, you and the Survivor you’re healing make NO NOISE, INCLUDING GRUNTS OF PAIN.” There’s no percentages here. It’s says NO NOISE. It’s just for the healing action. Make the sounds hidden, or don’t bother making the perk remove any noise. I’m tired of this crap. This goes the same for Self Preservation. The description specifically says scratch marks, blood, and grunts of pain are H61 comments 851 views last activity

It would be fascinating sitting in one of BHVR’s board rooms, listening in on what’s being worked on/brainstormed for the next 3 killers over the next year. Because I’m at a loss to what else can be done power wise. This isn’t to say I don’t have faith in the devs creativity. We’ve had a wealth of diverse perks since the Silent Hill Chapter, and Blight & Twins are the most mechanically uniq0 comments 21 views last activity

I just can’t do many games without it now. It helps me so much, especially with new and improved Open Handed. I know it’s ridiculous because there are many maps I don’t “need” it per say, but even on a map like Rotten Fields I can immediately see which gen is most central, attempt to get that repaired first, and while sitting on it with my MASSIVE range on Visionary start planning exactly which10 comments 121 views last activity

With Ruin: Always know when a survivor has left a gen. I may not know if it’s because the killer chased them off, or they left just because, but it still hints at killer movements. No Ruin: Like Alert, Rookie Spirit tells me exactly where the killer last was.1 comments 71 views last activity

I’m talking about standing pallets. Give it a massive cool down for all I care, or a token system like Coup De Grace. SOMETHING, PLEASE! But some loops are so infuriating with how it’s possible for “just out of reach” survivors can get in 4, 5, 6+ laps before they drop the damn pallet. It’s really aggravating that there’s a base Entity mechanic to stop Survivors abusing the same vault, but no26 comments 681 views last activity

I respect that Killers have needed something to start gaining momentum early game for a long time. However I’m already disliking Lethal Pursuer, not because I think it’s unhealthy, but because of how semi regularly on maps like Shelter Woods, most Cold Wind maps, Ormond, Swamp, you can spawn in dead zone with not enough time to get anywhere reasonable before hearing the killer on top of you.3 comments 131 views last activity
