I will admit that they are strong but I just don’t think they’re OP. I actually really like the gameplay around boons as it requires setup preparation and the survivor has to go out of their way to activate the perk. It’s also a new gameplay element which spices it up. Killers can also hear boons and it takes them just a second to break it. He was fine before and imo wasn’t that problematic. Yeah he was unfun for the survivor side but sometimes you just can’t make something fun for both sides without crippling it entirely. It was way easier to balance Spirit because she already had enough tools in her kit to consistently kill survivors but Slinger never had that at all. I now have an idea for how the sound works now, which should help me improve my gameplay with her. I gotta say, she's about as fun to play against as she is to play as right now. It's so fun changing up the gameplay into tracking by audio. She definitely still has the control but overall it feels so fair to play against her. Like seriously, it’s been a whole week and have only seen one Spirit on my favorite map RPD who barely even used her power. Where did all of you go? Did you just drop her because she’s a “dead killer” now? If it gets to a point where Spirit is as rare as Billy then I might be very sad. I haven’t used this add on yet but I don’t need to to know how pathetic it is. I play Spirit a lot and survivors generally don’t just go back to the husk unless we’re at a junk Autohaven loop and we’re trying to mind game. So just wanted to have some fun with updated Spirit and came across a hacking Claudette. I only got two hooks this whole game because I literally couldn’t do anything. First red flag: Ash got healed way too quickly, at least it felt like it. I wasn’t watching him as I was focused on another survivor atm. Second red flag: DSed me when she wasn’t even hooked yet. I’m not sure how Mother-Daughter Ring didn’t get a nerf as it’s a ridiculous add on that combines too well with some add ons. Spirit is already a strong enough killer that is capable of downing survivors very fast so she doesn’t need a combo that makes her much stronger and easier to play. As a Spirit main, nerf this combo or at least nerf Mother-Daughter Ring as you already should have in the36 comments 763 views last activity

I managed to 4k or 3k + last survivor got hatch in all of them. Some of them were at 4 or 5 gens remaining. So my opinion on nerfed Spirit? Her strength hasn't dipped at all and she is still one of the best killers in the game. As a Spirit, you just have to be more mindful than before, as you can't expect free hits anymore. Have you ever learned from A Binding of Kin and Resident Evil? You release a big update and don’t test it at all to make sure it runs properly yet us PC players can’t even play the game right now. I feel absolutely betrayed by BHVR and there’s no reason for me to trust them anymore. It really breaks my heart because this game has done so much for me and it came to me during a time in my life when I was going through a hard time. I’m probably more excited just for that than everyone that hated her before. She’s going to be so much more fun to play because of her new mind games and new add ons that actually offer variety instead of just an increase in numbers. I certainly will. I find him pretty rewarding to play at times but it felt awful before because of how add on reliant he is was. Here is a question for the people that say Spirit is a dead killer. What is she dead in? Is she dead in winning every single game, is she dead against players that simply played better than you, or can she never win a game under any circumstances ever? I've been running this on Spirit lately and I think it's actually a very strong combo that could work well on a lot of killers. It's Hex: Retribution + Hex: Plaything. This does come with the risk of getting Retribution cleansed early in the game but it still has the potential to give you 50 seconds of aura reading if you hook all the survivors and they go for their Plaything totems. Please don’t retire from playing her because of her upcoming nerf. She will still be a very strong killer, but will be a strong killer with counterplay from the survivor side. A killer having counterplay doesn’t make them dead in any way because killers like Blight and Oni have counterplay but are some of the best killers in the game. I maybe played like 30 survivor matches on the PTB in hopes I get Spirit. Haven’t gotten her once. It’s so aggravating because I see people playing killers that aren’t getting any changes like Pyramid Head, Legion, and Trickster. If you’re going to play those killers, go to live servers. She is still invisible and moves at 176% movement speed compared to survivors’ 100%. Survivors just have counterplay now and it feels like an interactive battle between the killer and survivor, even though the killer has most of the control as they should. I really feel like Built to Last has potential to shift the meta a bit with this buff. This would be awesome because there needs to be new perks that we can see in games more often rather than just the same 7 perks on each side we always see. Who else thinks Built to Last will be meta? Still no map pressure, way less 1v1 potential, 4.4 killer with no mobility to his kit, higher terror radius, and overshadowed by Huntress and Trickster. I've seen a lot of people say that they hate playing her because she "gives free wins" and what not. After the nerf goes live, she definitely won't be in that spot anymore. Will you consider her to be one of your mains or even just character that you'll play as every now and then? I would hate for her to become as rare as Billy and Plague. So Hex: Blood Favor is getting buffed to where it doesn’t apply to basic attacks. Could it be possible that Blood Favor will synergies with Trapper’s Bloody Coil? If a survivor disarms near a pallet maybe to help out a nearby teammates getting looped the pallet gets blocked and that survivor gets injured. I am overall happy with Spirit getting the change. I can actually play my favorite killer without people shaming me and also not feeling guilty anymore. Also the DC rate will be much less so that’s a plus. I am not leaving her even if I did think the nerf was too much. She’s been my killer since the beginning so I will be a proud Rin main for life. Yes Spirit needed a change and I’m not going to act like she didn’t. However, you only take one side into consideration. Iron Will users will be next to impossible to catch because they can hear where you are and you have NO INFO on where they are. Isn’t that the same exact issue survivors had with Spirit? I really don’t want to have to rely on bringing Ruin Undying Pop every single game because that would just get boring. I get games as killer that go way too fast that I have to make moves like tunneling or camping that I just generally am not a fan of doing. So I remembered how much easier it was to pip up in the lower ranks than the higher ranks. Since everyone gets moved down to rank 20 (ash IV) when rank reset happens, killer adepts have gotten so much easier. I went for a few adepts last night and got adepts on Spirit, Oni, and Doctor. I used to think this map was ok because I’ve played RE and it lets me know the map so it’s not as bad for me but overall the map is a complete disaster. It’s too big and confusing for people that haven’t played RE, pallets are either completely useless or godly, totem spawns are horrible for survivors, and how can anyone find Pig’s jigsaw boxes in this place? So I just recently had a game where I queued in as Spirit where I wanted to try out Hex: Plaything on her. Guess what happened though, I hit a survivor out of phase early in the match and first thing the survivor does is DC because I'm Spirit. Two other survivors ran to me and DCed after that.
