@DarkWo1f997 ethical? The devs stated that there is nothing wrong with doing 360s, end of story. I have no idea how a 360 could be declared ethical though. That’s a new one on me.He's referring to the op's claims it's an exploit which it's not. The moves Dark uses are the same ones killers that know how to counter 360 use. While you'll occasionally miss, 9/10 times you're getting a hit.

On PC I only get 60 fps and sometimes less (Hello Doctor) so that does help for say Nurse but I just get really close and then swing in an arc for the 360. Most of the time the 360 never gets by me and when it does it's they're just really good because I got too predictable or I mistimed my swing.

yeah survs are skilled using 360 exploit u mean? I wish killers had such 360 exploit when lunge, that should be skilled too?
When you have no skill it's an exploit, when you have skill it's a move you can counter.

I think they're overpriced if I'm honest, but then when I consider how much I paid for the game compared to the insane amount of hours I've got from it, it becomes easier to justify.
I've certainly bought my share of teachables and bloodpoints for shards.

BTW I hope my post didn't suggest that I think my time is more valuable than yours, or I'm some rich twat etc.
I was commenting on a purely personal basis that I can't justify the shard cost, but can justify auric cells.Yeah I've actually had more shards than that overall, bought Ada/Rin/ and can't remember who else with shards along with some outfits.

IF it would be just the distribution, this would affect survivor also.
And the problem would ease up when all the people that can't play killer, switch to survivor, which they already do, but it doesn't change anything.
And most important, bugged lobbies are a pretty common bug in this game and happening basically 2/3 of all patches. While bugged lobbies are a thing, it wasn't this bad until everyone got their survivor side done and now that vials are obtainable on either side the issues fixed. Now lobbies pop almost instantaneously for both sides. I've even run into people on both sides who're jsut now starting to play the game and the event.

Sadly you've got killers now going full on jerk since they can get quick lobbies now.
Iridescent ead/Infantry Belt camping huntresses on 1st event hook.
Camping Wraiths lots of them
Along with all the other nonsense and the funny thing is they're camping so hard they're losing points since no ones within 16 meters of the hook.

Now THAT'S frustrating. Not the 40 second chances you get in DbD.I'll have you know it's 39 second chances, not 40 geez it's bad enough killer hard camp the non DS user on 1st hook. Thereby robbing us of at least 38 more chances.

Even if implemented, this won't stop Survivors from teabagging at the exit. They'll just fall back on the excuse that they wanted to give the Killer some free points and get some in return.I stick around to make sure if someones running my way injured i can take the hit for them. As for tea bagging killers I very rarely if ever do it. For the last hit if the killer was cool I'll either stand there or crouch and let them get a hit for the bonus bp.
So far all the killers 've played with for the most part respect my gameplay decision and the fact I let them get an extra hit in. The times I'm last one or the gates are open and I know someones going to make it or are waiting for the hatch I just run out immediately.
Now for the excuse just stop, both sides have jerks that make excuses for their toxic behavior and killers that cmap at 1st hook and do nothing but smack the survivor repeatedly on the hook are a good example.

Perhaps @TydeTyme can explain it to you since I've see him have no issues with survivors doing it on the streams I've watched.
Hence the problem with these people claiming it's not a problem. On PC you have FAR FAR FAR more control of direction than Xbox or PS4. Changing direction mid swing on either is ridiculous with the sticks. hence they get a free deadhard.
You don't see most streamers getting this done BECAUSE they're on PC.
You can keep making up excuses for people abusing a system problem, but that won't change the fact that the base issue is they're abusing mechanics to cover for THEIR bad play at the game. I never use it as survivor and play just fine.
You're blaming the fact you're on console for your own bad gameplay, as other stated turn up your sensitivity and problem solved. I've also seen streamers on PS4 have no issue with it precisely because they've got their sensitivity turned up.
The only one making up excuses here is you since quite a few of the killer mains on here play on PS4 and hit rank 1 every season. The issue isn't an exploit but your lack of skill and unwillingness to adapt.
I don't 360 either since I suck at it but I also don't have an issue hitting 360ing survivors with normal sensitivity on my mouse because I'VE ADAPTED.

See you're like Wile. E. Coyote here because you refuse to change your ways.

Oh OI agree, I'm just saying that the strategy to memorize is great until you get hooked or downed by it because at that point you're pretty much doomed and so is your team. If the totem is by you while they get hooked it's cleansable. If not and it' by them where killer is hooking it's pretty much a lost cause at that point.

i reported the problem days ago via forums and twitter on a more gently way.i just dont know what else to do for them to fix it(that "threat" is not a bluff tho).days are running out,ive still have a lot of killer vials to fill and i dont wanna wait 30 min on rank 1 for each game...

While I understand the frustration I just finished my killer late last night, fixes don't happen overnight unless it's game breaking things. This one they have to identify the problem which might be just too many people playing one side now that that other side is done.
If that's the case there's not much they can really o about it for now and if it's code side they have to make a fix that doesn't break other things before releasing it. That fix also has to pass certification for consoles both sides.
of course they can do thing to fix it(remove surv harvest cap, temporal wider rank matchmaking). they just dont give a ######### lets be honest.

@powerbats No, I wouldn't say that. Not in this case. There is no getting good against Decisive Strike. Unless you down a Survivor close to a Hook, there's no other option as taking the stun and losing your caught Survivor. It's a mechanic that should never have made it into the game. The Perk in its current form is broken. I'm still a proud never-user of DS, I consider it the worst crutch there is.I'm trying to point out to the op that there's things they can do, simply removing it because hey don't like dealing with it isn't a solution. Once they fix it to where it's simply a stun it won't be such a big issue but it they remove it might as well remove instant downs from killers.
Yet there isn't. There's nothing a Killer can do about Decisive Strike unless given very specific circumstances (proximity to a Hook).
Quite honestly, as far as I'm concerned, DS and NOED can be removed from the game. Both reward bad players for screwing up.
Well you can run Enduring and Iron Grasp which a lot of killers do especially at ranks 1-5. I do agree they could remove both along with Whispers hopefully so I can go back to being immersed and evading instead of having to try and endlessly loop.
I'm sorry, but do you consider those counters? If so, re-read the definition of said word.
Enduring doesn't prevent the stun from happening, neither does Iron Grasp. And really, leave Iron Grasp out of any discussion that doesn't at least involve its counterpart Boil Over. It only adds 1.92 seconds to the wiggle time on Tier III.
I didn't say they countered it though, but saying those are worthless is missing the point that they can and are used by efficient killers. If people don't want to use the tools available to them that's on them, since even if Dstrike gets removed then the complaint will simply switch to Boil Over.
Then the complaint will be remove X, then remove Y etc etc etc, when you can do things that can either counter or mitigate. Better planning on how you conduct your chase, knowing where pallets and vaults are etc.

Yeah I'm back to rank 15 due to farming during the event and letting people farm and i'm still letting people farm since so many are just starting out it seems. I also feel guilty when I've already hooked people for 3 hooks and not a gens been done.
There's no satisfaction in wrecking lower skilled players like that, especially when most are only 1 perk and just starting out. I always give hints post game so they know to avoid unsafe hooks etc.
-
I'm still finding people doing it survivor side including people just starting it up, most have very few vials and i'm letting everyone farm for the most part. I think part of the issue is that everyone powered through it so quickly the population shifted.
If you remember both the Summer BBQ event where killers got their cosmetic within half a day if not the 1st day while most survivors took a lot longer. So prior to this event everyone was saying how easy killer would be to get so most people did survivor side.
Those that started killer got it almost immediately due to survivors literally throwing themselves at the hook. Those people quickly blew through survivor side and now are trying to do it killer side. I got my killer side done 2 days ago but even then it took me forever to get mine due to lobbies.

only long Queue timesDude, these queue times easily last as long as two complete survivor games including their queue time. And bad killers who fail to catch any of those toxic SWF swat teams don't get any serum at all! All a survivor has to do is run around the map, hold M1 when he finds a plant, get killed and repeat.
So the survivor just had to hold M1 and suicide, that means you're guaranteed to get 4 hooks per match. Now since it takes 6 hooks to get 1 vial that means for every 3 games you get 2 vials done. So if everyone is just suiciding to you that means it shouldn't take you long at all.

There are technical issues that need to get fixed.IF this would just be the unbalance in player playing one side, it would fix itself, because all the killer mains switched to play survivor, because we do not get any lobbies!
It's not an urban myth since if it was just technical issues it'd already have been fixed. so instead of perpetuating the urban myth that's it only a technical issue perhaps we should acknowledge that it's also a population imbalance issue.

At rank 15-20 lobbies are either very quick or are 5-15 minutes and when it was 10-15 it wasn't that bad in fact it was super quick. I think most of the people thought survivor would be harder based upon summer BBQ being harder for survivors.
During that event killers got their tokens super easy so this time people all went survivor side but event hen killer still had it easy. So now there's this huge population imbalance of too many killers.

Ffs stop defending them blindly. There would soo many ways to fix those lobby queues within 24 hours.
Just some examples:- Reset rank for all in red and purple ranks
- Give survivors the possibitly to harvest after 30/30
- Change the vial balance to 45 survivor and 15 for killer instead of 50% on each
Anything can be implemented in less then one hour but yeah, let's keep saying "they can't do much about many people playing killer."
“That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.” – Christopher Hitchens.
I'm not defending them blindly, but you and the others seem to be blindly demanding things that don't work that way.
- Rank Reset is done on the same day every month and people won't magically join your games just because of rank reset. What will happen is that those that have already done the vent one side and are doing it on other side will still be on the exact same side.
So your rank reset idea will fix nothing, only make it that much worse because now everyone will be at rank 20 doing survivor side instead of spread out across the ranks.
That's already been discussed but if they changed it it'd still have to pass certification on console which take a minimum of a week. They're not going to release a patch for PC only and screw console over.
That's again too late for the reasons above.
Now onto the anything can be implemented in less than an hour. do you have any actual programming knowledge? I'd say no since you can't simply throw some code together and say voila in an a hour like that and say sure it'll work.
I'll let @Orion who I believe has some programming knowledge explain it to you since I know they also know how to run Q&A stuff like I used to do but are more up to date than I am.

@livschumacher18 What rank are you at and on what platform?
Some of this is rank related and also by platform/time playing.
-
My only real issues with Billy are that unlike Bubba his collision penalty is really low even without using addons for that. He also can charge his chainsaw up and have normal movement speed which given it's super low cd is nuts. He can simpyl charge at you, stop the charge and be on your tail holding charge and you're pretty much toast at that point.
He really needs to be some slower base movement speed 110 instead of 115 and also be penalized for simply holding his chainsaw in the air charged endlessly.
-
That's what VHS tapes are for, oh wait the Clown took it nvm. 😁

I'd love to be able to hide in cars on the different maps, but make it take like 15 seconds to sneakily open the door and get in and same for getting out. But you couldn't see out of the vehicles at all, sort of like a fogged window effect.
They'd work like lockers so a killer could grab you out of it and exiting would take 5 seconds of channeling to do it quietly.Macmillan has 1 car or 2, Haddonfield and Lampkin would be a lot of fun and would really spice things up.

Now that said, it does need some adjusting which the devs are working on still, but you as a killer can mitigate it some, dribbling, Enduring etc are all things you can do.
Holy poopy.. what do I do doc if it was there first time knocked down and the gates are powered and there is no hook to dribble to? What happens if they are not the obsession and nail you with it because the hooks are more spread out now? What if they hit you with it when they are close enough to a loop? I think you need to take some of your own medicine and get out of the yellow ranks.
I don't run it and I've got no issue downing survivors who use it right away, perhaps you need to plan your chases better so you end up closer to a hook. Now for some logic, they use it, well guess what it's not there anymore for the rest of the game and now they have a wasted perk slot.
Now if we get into the what if category you want to try and use.
Well what if:
You ran Enduring
You dribbled
You planned your chases better
You expected everyone to be running it so you're better prepared
You did any of the other countless what if's likeWhat if:
The DS user is bad
The DS user misses the skillcheck
The DS user runs into a dead end
The DS user runs to where there's no palletsI could keep going on but what if instead of complaining to remove a perk you improve your gameplay like everyone else.
I'll let @Orion and @SovererignKing explain it to you since while we all agree it needs a fix we don't say remove it just because we get frustrated over it.
At rank 1 survivor I rarely see it used anymore except by Kate's trying to do the achievement , people running the Obsession build, some SWF groups where someones trying to be the looping bait etc.
-
My point is marth complains about larger scale things and since the rework of pallets etc he hasn't seemed to have an issue with it. If you're having issues that's your own need to improve, in cases like the Barn that's something they worked on and still need some work.
If you're going to complain about depipping due to survivors doing their objectives then it's obvious this discussion is pointless, you want an easy 4k not a challenging game.
-

Well there's also the option to get better at beating the loops and knowing when to go after someone else. They've already reduced pallets and jungle gyms quite a bit as well as nerfed the snot out of sac tree loop. If you're getting looped for 1-2 times then that's fine, if it's 10-20 that's on you, not the competent survivor.
There's no "getting better at beating" those seethrough loops. You run bamboozle or get looped there, the only point at which you'll get the survivor is when he ######### up. The walls should just not be seethrough so the killer can effectively try to mindgame them and survivors can try to lose the killer better.
"just go after somebody else" is not a design decision endorsed by the devs as seen by the nerfs to safe-havens. You are supposed to get caught after a while if the killer finds you.
Yet top tier killers like Marth deal with it just fine, Tydetyme etc all deal with it and don't come onto the forums asking for that to get changed. I'm not to tier by any means and i simply adjust my playstyle or how i approach the chase instead.
That's getting better at beating survivors by not going there in the 1st place, cut their angle off, know where they're going and divert them to someplace else. Don't let them tell you where you want to go, you during the chase direct them to your preferred area.
-

I don't think you get it. The jungle gym is see through. I never seen anything about the pallets. I am saying that if there is a window there and a pallet then you've basically got some bs situation there like a killer shack except four more of them throughout the maps.
Actually I do get it and that's not a full window but half window type vault which is easier to keep LOS on. Most killers don't have an issue with that tree now since it's got more openings. The jungle gyms are there to mind game for both sides and it's up to you as the killer to play better.
What you're now asking for is a free hit instead of using your killer to it's fullest.

@Koldvar There's no issue with complaining about something, but going all caps and threatening them to not spend money isn't the way to go about it.@Kilmeran They're aware of the issue and have even posted about it on the forums several times so instead of throwing out baseless insults avail yourself to the available information. Just because they don't respond to each and every thread let alone yours doesn't mean they're not aware of it or working on it.
Who has? The only one I saw was Peanits, and the last one I saw from him stated that it was because too many people were simply playing Killer.
If there were others, I missed it. Which is entirely possible.
Oh, and I never made a single thread on the topic. So, you might want to avail yourself of the information on what threads I have created before tossing out baseless insults.
Wow. I see how fun this keyboard warrior nonsense is now. Thanks!
If you'd notice how I broke that post up into 2 distinct parts you'd realize that the 1st comment dealing with threats was tagged to the op while the comment you just referenced was tagged to you. So you knew i wasn't referring to you in the threat comment yet turned around and stated i was.
So the only one that needs to avail themselves here would be you and resorting to such a feeble insult is about as good as saying i'm right and you're wrong.
Try again slick. Here's your actual point to me:
@Kilmeran They're aware of the issue and have even posted about it on the forums several times so instead of throwing out baseless insults avail yourself to the available information. Just because they don't respond to each and every thread let alone yours doesn't mean they're not aware of it or working on it.
So, again, as you put it about availing oneself of information before making baseless insults, I repeat back to you: I never made a single thread on the topic. So, you might want to avail yourself of the information on what threads I have created before tossing out baseless insults.
Don't try to backpedal that it was to the OP when it was clearly to me in black-and-white. Don't know what type of people you normally try to argue with at forums, but I do know how to read a post.
But I'm done here with this debate. Carry on.

@Kilmeran They're aware of the issue and have even posted about it on the forums several times so instead of throwing out baseless insults avail yourself to the available information. Just because they don't respond to each and every thread let alone yours doesn't mean they're not aware of it or working on it.
So as you can see the one making baseless accusations and tossing insults here is still you, the information is there for anyone to plainly see, you obviously want to direct your hostility someplace else after being given the info.
Saying you're done here after making repeated attempts to shift blame is as good as saying you were wrong then claiming you were right at the same time. If you're done debating tehn all good, I'll continue to debate with others that want to do so without insults.
