Most people are pretty even keeled but if you come out with a leading post that basically says i'm either not looking for anyone that disagrees with me you'll get called out for it. If all you want it those that agree with you then you'll be a somewhat lonely person and get bored quickly.

You're not supposed to be able to get all 7 of the cosmetics, you get 2 high quality complete sets or you can mix and match. But you're basically looking a gift horse in the mouth and complaining it's not rich enough for you.
If this is the type of response you're going to give along with others they may just go back to doing 2 lesser quality cosmetics one for each side. You should count your lucky blessings they went all out on this event for the community as much as they did.
You should also be thankful that you can at least get some of the stuff unlike others who can't who're in the same situation as you but their intent goes out etc.

I'm not working due to a work related injury and I don't qualify for benefits still so i've got no money to buy them either. I'm only able to farm and I'm thankful for getting the opportunity to get to choose not 1 but 2 complete outfits.

Sadly people will complain just to complain about things sometimes, it's just human nature. You can only try and give sage advice and it's up to them to take it. Once the event is a week old things will die down the same as they did for BBQ event.

Yeah the event itself isn't the issue it's the same people that do this every event are the issue. I've had matches where people now the killer is there and still farm the nectar. In fact duo's or trios and even full single groups will sandbag each other to get the stuff.
The killer side isn't much better, killers camping the 1st event hook and never leaving or only patrolling the nectar sacs and ignoring everything else. It's been almost exclusively Billy's, Nurses, Spirits, Wraiths. Anything with really high mobility to get from nectar to nectar is what you see.
That doesn't even include the lag switchers that're so bad at doing it it practically screams at you and they stop and pause to do it. Now on the other hand you get some really nice killers and survivors that want to farm but also play for objectives.
It's a good thing event hooks are immune to sabo because some of the killers out there would've indirectly been grieving their fellow brethren.

How is this any different than the other events hooks, it's not since during the summer BBQ event you had to hook on a different event hook each time.

I was in the match with him and what he was doing was charging up treatment mode and hitting you with punishment at the exact same time. There was absolutely no transition time and when i questioned him on it post game he said he was switching during charge up to punishment.
The only way to do that is with a macro or program similar to the one that got people banned for flashlight clicking if i remember right. He was literally charging and smacking a the exact same time as the shock therapy charge went off.
I've got video of him but not during that time frame and he also somehow was managing to hit people way out of range similar to a lag switch attack.

So they monetized it by adding extra skins you can get in addition to the FREE skin so that people that don't have the time. Those that can't play for family reasons, school, work, family emergency etc so they can get some stuff too.
Would you be happier if they said you only get 1 cosmetic like during the BBQ event? Because if I was the devs and there was this many people appearing to be entitled I wouldn't do something so good again. Instead of flaming them and calling them everything under the sun why not say i think you should do x instead?

Agreed, I think the issue is with how it's been ahem worded beforehand by all the different posters. If everyone would word better and all agree or a general consensus like with Rin's 15 instead of 20 second cool down. They'd probably be more likely to agree to the change and perhaps even hotfix it in.

The worst ones are the Distressing/Coultrophobia/Thanatobia then either add in whispers for the stealth or just BBQ. Throw in extended terror radius addons and walk back and forth down the middle and profit.

So some stuff is behind paywall big deal, there's some stuff that's been behind a paywall for quite some time now. The $10 is a movie ticket or 2 cups of coffee or a meal at Burger King.
They need to either do one of the following.....
-Make a 2nd set grindable with a far away vial count (6 pieces in total for 100 vials?) or 200 vials?)
If you make a 2nd set then the demands will quickly become 3rd set and so on.
-Make them all buyable with 20,000 shards each
Making compelte sets buy able for 1k would be on par with say Rin's Very Rare outfit.
-Give a Auric Cell discount of 20% more.
Doesn't that make it pay 2 win then? You spend money you get it cheaper and quicker so no grind?
-Give the game an XP event, where you can earn shards a bit faster. for some small duration.
That is nice and a double bp event or even 1.5 even t would be nice. It still needs to have Devotion fixed so it's actually meaningful for shards.
The issue is that if they give in on this what happens during the next event, the demands will simply increase. As proof look no further than the BBQ event and the ones before it where people were instantly demanding more rewards and longer duration's.

Fact BBQ summer event was 2 weeks and was in fact 15 days.
This is totally about getting more, you're saying one thing then complaining you can't do the exact opposite. You have a chance to grind for pieces, you just want the chance to grind for more pieces. That is the very definition of getting more or wanting more.
So no you're not right and are completely wrong, the only one that needs to stop is you. i just used your own arguments and showed how you're saying 2 opposite things at once.

Well would changing it up, too late now of course but changing it up to 2 per side or 4/21 be more equal?
So you could get at least 2 per side full cosmetics for a total of 4 complete outfits or a combination of that per side. I know not everyone plays both sides but giving in so you can basically get a bunch of free stuff doesn't make it fair to everyone else.
You need a good middle ground so that everyone is equally given a chance at something, for some that means they can buy it, for others they can grind it. Just because someone buys it doesn't take away from your accomplishment in grinding it.
These are cosmetics, not game breaking things like here you move x % faster or you isnta down someone and mori them without hooking them 1st etc.

I agree @Zanfer and @Dwight_Confusion I do understand but like I and others have said not everyone is going to get that opportunity like you or I probably will. In a sense for those that can grind it out quicker this will be no different than the BBQ event was for the ones that got it 1st day.
For everyone complaining about it calm down and realize you're getting stuff free that you don't have to pay for. There'll be more events and more stuff that's free upcoming. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth just because it isn't as shiny as you want.

The bottom line is if they cave in on this you'll just expect more each time and after the complaint fest here they'll be less inclined to do anything that gives multiples again. In the future they'll probably just go back to what happened during the Summer BBQ event and that's 1 per side.

I wanted to play a bunch... and have the "chance" to earn them. By ridiculous grind.
We can get 1 free with minimal grind. OKay cool.
I wanted to play crazy for the halloween season... and be able to possibly get 2 or 3... or maybe 4 of them with extreme grind.
They should add a 2nd cosmetic grindable with 70 additional vials.
I'm being reasonable... and most of us are too.
They can lock the rest behind a paywall. I get it. But letting 3/21 pieces to everyone and the rest locked away for 4 bucks each is horrible.
They need long term stretch rewards, and this event was a great time to do it. Let people try to grind out some of this with crazy vial counts... and then... if they don't get them, they'll probably just buy anyways.
I get it completely but you and the rest are missing the point, past event got you 1 yes ONE cosmetic and now you get a chance at 3 cosmetics and you're complaining you can't have more. You can grind for the extra 2 but what you're really complaining about is you want more.
You can either get 3 different cosmetics or 1 complete outfit but seriously you're complaining about something that's free and 3 of them at that. All you and everyone else complaining is ensuring is that they won't do something like this again or if they do it'll be limited.

It's not pay to win if the person buying it doesn't have the time or can't make the event due to vacation or family emergency etc. If everyone is so consumed over a pixel on a screen then you've got way more issues since if you've ever bought anything in an online game you're being a HYPOCRITE !!!!
So how many of you complaining about this being pay to win over a cosmetic item that does nothing to help you win in any shape form or fashion has ever bought any type of DLC or purchasable in game item? If you've bought any item whether it be a cosmetic or something that gives you an edge you're a HYPOCRITE.

There's been posts from weeks back from people saying they wouldn't be able to play or hardly at all so they'll not get a chance to all 4 pieces let alone one. By allowing them to be purchased it allows those who can't get them to get them. It isn't all about a cash grab and sure they make some extra money but they also ensure that those who don't get a chance for whatever reason don't get screwed over or feel left out.

Because more gens equals more points and I've got a P3 Claudette I don't play much but i'm stealthy since i suck at looping. So because i suck at looping and most killers get pissed by looping i just hold M1 on gens and do totems.

Agreed, I've got inventory on multiple toons of offerings and Bloodweb is the same and already had to spend BP on offergins I can never use. They should be auto deleted and the BP spent refunded and the ones in Bloodweb should be auto selected but not take up a spot so as not to arouse Entity type effect.
