Uhm, the ":)" sounds really sarcastic and that you were taunting them, or at least i would interpret it that way, especially after a match vs stridor spirit.
Don't get me wrong, wishing people death is gross, if they were frustrated they could've just replied with a ######### off. If your GG was genuine and not sarcastic, perhaps try avoiding using the :) next time

Nerfing a perk because it's good on one killer is bad. If you nerf Stridor, then it becomes even more useless on killers other than Spirit. It also doesn't fix Spirit's problems.
True, let's actually nerf spirit please, I don't mind this option
-
There's a difference between agreeing with someone and parroting someone without doing a little bit of critical thinking.
Then again, if someone here on the forums claims that people are just being sheep because some youtuber called blight S tier and now "everyone is saying so", I'd reply to them (as I actually did) they just lived under a rock until now or they're just getting mad over clouds, because the general consesus has ALWAYS been that Blight was a strong killer.
Also, youtubers and streamers opinions obviously get more visibility because they are "public figures" followed by many people

oh okay so let my totem be cleansed at the first 10 seconds of the game because the survivors spawned right next to it.
Fair
FAIR
FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You signed up for it from the moment you decided to take a hex perk stop crying

I don't believe either should be changed. Nurse I personally think is simply stuck where she is. And we can't nerf Startstruck for having good synergy. Then we should nerf Stridor because it's so good on Spirit
This but actually meaning your last sentence

honestly all totems should be blocked for the first minute of the game like what corrupt intervention does.
I'm tired of losing hex ruin at the first 30 ######### seconds of the game.

"Please block all totems for like a minute at the start of the game so survivors can't do them"

The second that killers get sprint burst as a perk XD.
Imagine a deathslinger stopping for a second, and then (with gun aimed) running at you mach 10. Now that would be terrifying.
Or the killer version of deadhard (an aimbot assist with a cooldown like exhaustion).
There was the event addon from last year's blighted that gave that effect

It took 8 months for Blight to be usable on Console, and Trickster and Twins are in the same boat.
Not only that, but one of those Killers is profoundly unfun.
I'd say 2 of them. One of them is just weak, but not fun in either case :s

@GannTM said:
There should be a restriction of using a pallet or window for like a full second after using Dead Hard. That would remove the DH for distance BS and make it less annoying.
Yes make the perk completely useless then. Even if used to dodge a hit, having a restriction for pallet/windows immediately after would make it useless, because the killer would just recover from the animation and swing again. Do you even think before proposing changes?
-
?? Just because a couple of forum members said he sucks, doesn't mean the general consensus was that.
Blight is a very strong killer, and always has been.
-
@TicTac said:
You need to predrop most pallets and then run around the entire structure. The killer loses time going around the pallet and has a hard time catching up. On other pallets you need a stun. Ita very hard, but if you never drop the pallet you waste a lot of time. There are some killer who make it very hard, but i think hawkins is fun to loop bc its so different.

Realistically all the males should be slightly quieter than the females seeing as they have quite a substantial advantage with size and height already. Making the males slightly quieter would be a fairer offset.

Wraith has always been viable and it was always played like he's played now. He received a couple of buffs so he's not under the radar anymore and he's been played more, so now more people realize he's kinda annoying to go against when they all play the same way (which bear in mind it's the most effective way), but he's always been like this.
Only difference is he's now not addon dependant anymore, which means with add-ons he's now very strong
-
I just went against two ghost faces (not in a row though) lol but yeah i don't see them often. Might also be because many stealth killers use indoor map offering and i dodge those games
-
I just had a plague that tried all game to get it. In the end, at one gen left and only two of us were alive, she slugged the other survivor, caught me and took me to him, so i understood what she wanted and she let us go after that 🥰

@Lord_Tony said:
the immunity dead hard gives is so annoying.
When I'm playing deathslinger I can't bait out good DH users by pretending to shoot, I have to actually shoot.
So I have to PREDICT where they are going be it left, right, straight, 360, etc.
So if I shoot at a spot I predict they will dead hard AND hit them I trigger an invincible frame.
So I'm literally punished for baiting and predicting their dead hard.
Wow against good survivors someone who we know already not bring good gets actually outplayed?
Mind-blowing 🤯

No killer can stop 3 gens from going in 90 seconds, not if the survivors are playing well. That's not to say the killer is weak or bad, it's just that dbd is balanced around the killer losing those gens. Which also isn't to say these survivors were playing that well, I'm just making sure people undersrand how the Devs designed the game.
I never said that, in fact I don't get bothered when a couple of gens pop within the first chase. Pressure comes from the moment you get the first hook, not from the first chase per se

I think you're missing the point of this thread,instead of adressing the bug,you're going for him running whatever perk he wants and whatever addons he wants just like every other of those 4 survivors did?
Its funny how everyone complains about killer perks and addons,but no one does about survivors.
Also it may be hard to admit,but good survivors on comms,are no match for any killer in the game.
I posted clips about the bug already myself, its nothing new for me
Also, i complain about perks and add-ons because I'm tired of the rhetoric that nurse is the hardest killer in the game when she's utterly broken with certain builds and addons. And no, I play her basekit yet I *can* take good survivors on comms. Is it a sweaty ass match? It is, but it's still manageable on the strongest killer in the game.
And when I slap double cdr to have basically old basekit the gane becomes so easy it isn't even fun

For a very long time, I would've agreed with you completely simply because Old Lery's was my favourite map. And Haddonfield is painful for everyone, so...
I completely removed old lerys from my memory. I really don't remember how it looked like (same for all reworked maps except corn ones and nurse/clown ones, just because they're the newest)
-
@GeneralV said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2211150#Comment_2211150
Well, Haddonfield is hard for pretty much everyone. Except Nurse, of course. You can manage it with Freddy, on my experience, but it is complicated.
As a nurse main, I'd argue that Lerys is preferable to Haddonfield. In Lerys there is lower chance of blink inconsistency at least. In Haddonfield you can waste tons of time just because you were a meter too far or aiming too much to the side on a "blocked" house, so you just didn't blink anywhere.
Also Haddonfield promotes counter #1 to nurse: early W and stealth (arguably the counter to every killer, but i think hag and spirit could actually have it easier in Haddonfield than nurse)

Yeah, Ruin/PGTW/Tinkerer is basically the Baby Killer-Starter Kid. BBQ for extra BPs, because it should be ensured to run the best Add Ons all game and thats the build.
You get really carried when playing that Build, that is for sure. But I doubt that anything can be done about it, because they recently buffed Tinkerer, so they will not nerf it. And IMO Tinkerer is the problematic Perk in the bunch, this big "Pressure here!"-Sign is too much. Ruin in itself is fine, since usually only good Killers would benefit from it, but with Tinkerer, the worst Killer ever can still get a benefit from Ruin.
That's what I say too. Can't help but compare it to dead hard: people say it's rewarding survivors for failing. Yet tinkerer isn't a problem when it does literally the same thing? At 70%, a 4.6m/s killer has time to walk 110 meters before the gen pops (if the survivor is solo), let alone when their power grants mobility. Paired it with ruin/undying free regression or pop it's just a free carry
-
One simple change: remove perk tiers, all perks are tier 3 already. Also, unlocking a character is enough to unlock their perks for everyone. In this way new players won't find themselves with all perks at like lvl 40 (because hopefully there are enough unlocked characters already to grant 50 perks)
-
@GargledFire said:
I'm tired of killers abusing auto aim and latency and not having to actually think about where they are swinging. Then they whiff because someone uses a perk to counter this very problem, that's been in the game since Starbreeze owned the license and go complaining.
Killers back then didn't complain anywhere near as much and thought dead hard was fine. Just use your brain, where is the survivor aiming? Is the survivor looking back? Has he used dead hard earlier in the match? If so don't go for massive greedy M1 lunges, position yourself better, use mindbreaker etc. Dead hard is fine where it is until killer hit detection is 99% perfect, then maybe the dash can go.
And for those who complain about DH for distance, that's how bloodlust feels.
Imho this would've worked better as counterexample if you used bloodlust instead

@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
Just make it so you can't vault or throw down pallets for a few seconds after you Dead Hard.
There, it's fixed.
That would render it completely useless. Even if used "as intended" by dodging a hit, if you're in the open you'll still go down within a couple of seconds. If you're in a jungle gym and find yourself unable to do anything, you'll still go down.
Dead hard is fine.

Every perk you mentioned has some kind of requirement that prevents it from being a serving chance.
Corrupt.. I'll give you this one.
Ruin... Nerfed and unreliable totem spawns render it useless early.
PGTW... You have to hook someone. Not an easy task at high ranks.
Tink/BBQ... Useless on it's own/requires a hook. Has like 7 counters.
Ruin is the strongest regression perk in the game, and you forgot to mention tinkerer, probably because it's free information + stealth for killers while they're failing at pressuring gens
-
Ruin IF and double recharge yikes
How did u even lose 3 gens with that build
-
Good maps where to do this challenge are sanctum of wrath and dead dawg imho (i did it in sanctum of wrath)
Sadly you need good rng to get the basement in shack for dead dawg, and in main build with sanctum.

The thing I really hate about facing him, is that facing a good wraith means you get no boldness (no TR and no chases) since he's just always cloaked. Not to mention dailies and challenges for being chased are near impossible against Wraith now.
Honestly I really dislike any killer that can bypass chase mechanics. Victor is the other big offender, but I've had a few vs huntress games where I would run them around the map and never get in chase.
It just sucks wasting a killer's time and not getting rewarded for it.
This 1000x times

It's too much advantage for a fast killer. With Ruin also, it's too much. Killers should have to hunt for their prey not be told where they are all the time.
In that case, tinkerer is much more problematic than bbq, literally free information + undetectable for not understanding where to apply pressure

It would kill the game. Killers would DC when they are losing. Survivors would DC when they are losing.
People would leave reviews talking about no games ever finish because entitled people feel they can DC whenever they want.
That's what's wrong with those. The fact that you can't find problem with people DCing for petty reasons is kind of worrying.
Game survived 4+ years while that was happening, how would it kill it now?

People of my mindset would DC because of any reason without a deterrent it could be because of any silly reason.
They don't like the killer
They don't like a survivors gameplay
They don't like how fast gens are popping
They're the first ones hooked
Killer slugs(I agree on this one but ya know can't have one without the others)
Tunnelling and camping
Toxicity
A certain perk was used
The list goes on but these are the big ones.
Yes, i know
Again, I see nothing wrong with any of those 😳

Yeah those 2 are bad examples. But this kinda shows the problem with myers. He literally doesnt have a chase power. His schtick is to end the chase before it begins but you can hear him from longer than his tr distance if hes running dead rabbit and M and A. And good survivors can outlast the tier 3 just via looping. Myers is the personification of m1.
Yeah, Myers sadly suffers the most out of this, I can agree with that.
