Don't you move at like 150% movement speed? That's more than enough speed to make up for slower uncloak speed.
-
I had the same problem, you can't cut the point animation short by moving, you have to complete it.

Make sure you point in the direction that your camera is facing. Complete the point. I pointed twice within 5 seconds for good measure. I did it when the killer was picking up a survivor.
Altight thanks, I have the habit of cutting my emotes short, hope this works next match.

They honestly need to make legendaries more unique, the devs have shown that they can change voice lines depending on cosmetics with Legion, so why haven't they done it for Cheryl?
-
Nurse really isn't OP, the only time where she feels overly oppressive is when she's slugging with perks to help her do so. However, it isn't the fault of the perks, nerfing Nurse further would make her even more unappealing to learn than she already is and nerfing slugging perks would make them practically useless on most other killers.
Spirit on the other hand would probably benefit from some tweaks, making it so she gives more information to survivors would probably be the best thing for her, even if it means buffing her to compensate for this.
Overall though, I can understand why survivors complain a lot about things in this game, with killers generally equipping perks and add-ons to combat SWF, if the survivors in a game were actually all solo queue, they'll hardly ever stand a chance seeing as they cannot efficiently communicate important information with one another that SWF get super easily. The devs really need to stick to their word of closing the gap between solo and SWF if we ever want the game to be properly balanced.

Really? Wow, that's some bs
Not really, you're getting over 5 outfits worth of cosmetics (most of which are at least rare in terms of rarity) for the equivalent of $10 which would only get you 1 very rare outfit from the store.
-
I agree with everything other than the proposal to stop putting old rift items into the store, exclusives are simply unfair for players who may not have even known about the game before the items were released.
Not only that, the devs made it clear to the community that rift cosmetics would eventually be added to the store. If people choose to ignore this information, then their complaints are completely unjustified.

OP is like: why is my extremely powerful perk notified when its in play? its shouldn't be notified when its in play! it should only be notified when its GONE...
w h a t ? ? ? ? ?
It's also almost as if this is the only perk that tells survivors that their aura is being revealed (unless they have Distortion of course). Survivor perks aren't any less noticeable than killer ones, take for example: Sprint Burst, Quick and Quiet, Adrenaline, Self Care, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, Saboteur, Balanced Landing, Urban Evasion, Borrowed Time, etc.

Iri head isnt the issue, infantry belt is.
No it isnt, even with one Iri Head hatchet, you're cutting a chase by more than 50% seeing as you don't get the speedboost from getting injured.
Not only that but it's a one shot add-on with with very little input needed in order to be used, at least with add-ons such as Red Head's Pinky Finger or Iridescent Blight Tag, there's at least some form of skill requirement needed in order to get the insta down. Hatchets, with their large hitbox and pretty easy controllability, do not require a player to do anything special in order to make use of the add-on.
-
I wish the default outfits of the earlier survivors weren't so dirty, you can hardly see the clothes that they're wearing.
(Edit) Also, adjust the proportions of the earlier survivors, why is Dwight's torso longer than his legs? That doesn't make a lick of sense.
-
Every single decent PH can hit PotD, this would essentially just give any player who can sort of play him full reign to tunnel seeing as cages don't activate DS or BT.

I used cruel limits on that game cuz yknow A D E P T, there are plenty of windows, heck the silo tower window is disgusting if you just constantly use it
I'm pretty sure there's a grand total of 7 windows, hardly "plenty".
-
That's been in even since the PTB, it's probably to do with latency and therefore probably something out of their control for the most part.
-
It could probably be considered a tech if it wasn't something that only PC players could do.
-
They really should have increased the time that it is active for, you shouldn't have to purposefully lose a chase in order to use it. Even if the times went 60/75/90 it would serve better as an anti-tunnelling perk.
-
It applies to both sides, I feel like the first person camera might make it more noticeable though.

Yet when they make a character's race they're clearly choosing an ethnicity on purpose.
It's the same entire argument, just race instead of sexuality, but you tell this person to wait when that answer isn't good enough for you.
Kinda hypocritical tbh
Yet there are currently many ethnicities in the game that are already being represented. May I ask which characters have been confirmed to be LGBT? Can't tell me? That's because the LGBT have yet to get any representation, just like certain ethnicities.
-
I honestly wish that survivors just got more bloodpoints, especially seeing as how many survivor add-ons either have literally no effect on the item, or are only useful for newer players.
-
Are you sure the killer wasn't running Stridor and/or Surveillance?

Why are killers required to "give survivors a chance" to do anything? Their objective is literally to kill you, by any means necessary.
Are you going to spawn in next to our hex totem and "give us a chance to use it?" Are you going to spawn in with all 3 of your team mates with prove thyself and "give us a chance to find you" before you complete a gen?
Imagine being that entitled.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realise that Hex perks also deactivated after X amount of seconds, even if you don't get to use it.

No, not really. Do you know what can happen in 1 minute? when you loop a killer for a minute your team can focus on gens and if they are efficient they can do 2 gens by the time you get down. DS is one of the strongest perks in the game and more than 60 seconds would be insane. DS is fine now and they should never touch it again in my opinion.
Or the killer could just choose not to tunnel, give the survivor with DS active a chance to actually play the game and by the time they get found again, will no longer have it. Umless of course they were acting as a detriment to the team by not doing anything productive.
-
@Pilot said:
When did they announce this?
Ages ago, they said they recognised it as a problem because survivor rituals are much harder to come by than killer ones yet no changes have been made since.

Has it even been removed?

New DS will be healthier for the game. 60 seconds is still a long as time and the old DS (or current) is used way to offensively and this was never intended.
True as that may be, a survivor shouldn't have to purposefully mess up in chase just to be able to use a perk that's already going to be situational after its changes. If DS is going to be an anti-tunnelling perk, the devs need to recognise that a killer can tunnel someone for longer than a minute.
-
As much as I agree with everyone else that DS did need nerfed, with the upcoming changes, it probably won't even serve well as an anti-tunnel perk after its changes. If a killer decides to tunnel but fails to down the survivor within 60 seconds, DS deactivates despite the fact that they were in fact getting tunnelled.
-
Okay?

If they do an RE chapter, Jill better be the survivor.
I think that if we do get an RE chapter, it'll most likely be similar to Stranger Things: 1 Killer, 2 Survivors. That way we could get either Jill and Chris with Claire and Leon as skins, or Claire and Leon with Jill and Chris as skins.

People like to try and find a reason to play in a scummy way, it's annoying but it's something that this community has seemed to have perfected.

okay heres an examplwe bubba can down actaully down the whole team if theyre together and hes faster deathslinger gets a quickscope and gets to be sad
By that logic, all killers should just have Bubba's power. Not every killer has to have the exact same strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and statistics.
-
@Beefmur said:
what does quickscoping have anythjing to do with his balance? Thats not the problem his problem is you cant shoot people over pallets and down them thats all he needs
BEcause it's a form of attack that not a single person on earth could react to. Once you've been shot it's essentially a free hit for him no matter what. Even if you break free, you'll still go from healthy to deep wounds (because you should totally get injured for the killer making a bad shot).

His terror radius is average size isn't it?
And also his shots are off centre again, so quick scoping isn't a thing. Just make him predict a false move in the start of the chase, it'll help you gain distance early.
Am I saying he's not powerful in the chase, no. But I am saying he's not oppressive or broken.
Also dbd is a 1v4 game, so whilst he does great in a chase, he sucks at map pressure and you can easily beat most deathslingers by staying on gens and only going for a save when necessary.
He could use a slight nerf, maybe give him a time to lift his gun, or make it so he is very slow when aiming (slower than survivor) so a missed shot is crippling. Same with reloading. Outside that he doesn't need anything.
(Double post.)

If you've ever actually played against a competent DS you'd know that he absolutely can quickscope. The harpoon being off centre will only affect shots made from super far away. If he's within say 15 metres, the fact that it's off centre will have practically no effect.
-
We'll have to see just how easy it is to get main event up now, if it doesn't take much he could be alright. Trickster seems like he might be similar to old Legion where although his power isn't very lethal, there isn't much you can really do about it.

Oh no, 2 survivors are exposed at the same time for 20 seconds, such a big of deal.
Especially when we remember that usually first exposed survivor is downed in first 10-15 seconds.
It's a perk that allows you to snowball pretty heavily in its current form, it may not be the best perk in the game but it certainly doesn't need any adjustments right now.
-
If the cooldown was 40 seconds on all tiers, multiple people could be exposed with make your choice at the same time. The cooldown doesn't begin once the exposed status effect runs out, it starts the second that the unhooker is exposed.
-
I'd say Spirit would be best for you, she's a top tier killer with a couple of good perks, she also isn't very difficult to use once you get used to her.
-
The thing about doing something like this is that it would widen the gap between solo and SWF, which the game really doesn't need at the moment.

But what about Unbreakable?
If they still have DS active when you downed them then you were tunnelling, there will be nothing wrong with DS Unbreakable after the next update.
-
It's pretty common knowledge that DS is getting nerfed in the next update
-
This is literally how I got Adept Twins, I didn't even release Victor once.
-
So you downed the whole team and decided to slug them to death? I would say that that's toxic, you're just wasting everyone's time at that point.
-
There is literally no way to nerf SWF without nerfing solos in some way or another. What BHVR need to do is close the gap between solo and SWF and the buff killers.
-
It isn't that good, it's kind of fun when combined with other perks but killers can pretty easily bait it out once they know you have it.
-
Maybe they're trying to fix survivors getting hit through pallets that are already dropped on their screen?

Hah, now that's just pathetic, honestly.
At long last, the DS perk has finally been taken off it's throne.
Maybe it's not that far down, but now, it's an actual anti-tunnel perk now.
Hardly. If a killer is actually tunnelling, and that survivor plays well enough to survive longer than 60 seconds while not performing any actions to progress the game, DS still deactivates. It is now an anti tunnelling perk that only has an effect if you don't manage to play better than the killer.
-
While I agree with you, I get the impression that you feel that this was implemented to hide curse/swear words when it's actual purpose is to censor derogatory terms and slurs, which I'm sure everyone can agree, are far worse than regular swear words.
