Posting once more to remind ya'll that Pyramid Head is the most over-hyped killer on the roster. He's high B. He's not A and he's sure not S. He's COMPETENT, but his strongest feature relies on massive survivor failure, which makes him great for stomping new players, hit or miss for mid-tiers and extremely unreliable at high mmr.
He has the worst AddOns in the game to the point that he effectively has no addons and no alternate play styles. No matter what the hype may lead you believe, he will never be A-tier until his addons get a rework from top to bottom.
While he does need an add on pass, he is A tier imo, because he can break survivor momentum pretty fast if you know what your doing and secure killer momentum with his torment.

For me, it’s Alien, Dead Space, the Evil Within, a second Silent Hill Chapter, and a chapter where the survivor was once a killer.

Silent Hill already happened so I'd say Silent Hill part 2 with Maria as a survivor and The Missionary as a killer along with Lakeside Amusement Park as the map.

I am. At this point I'm more excited for the FNAF people to see their dreams crushed than the actual chapter reveal.
I should probably get therapy don't I...
That is a perfectly rational thing to feel sometimes, it can be pretty hilarious when an obsessed crowd gets hit with something other than what they wanted (coming from a sane fnaf fan)

Part of me wants Fnaf because of that as well….
but there are also so many other licenses I would rather see..
True, I'm actually really rooting for an Alien chapter for dbd, it would be super cool to have amanda or ellen as survivors!

A lot of people thought that, yeah.
That entire incident basically cemented my hatred of FNAF. Even in the face of it obviously not being FNAF, people decided to double-down and spam.
I mean as much as some of the fnaf community is filled with dickheads, dont let that be the main point of why you hate fnaf, while I love the fnaf franchise, there are some glaring flaws that can make it hateable
-
Not something we want, but 1000% something we NEED
-
I only really think it needs a nerf cause 25% bonus can be kinda dumb in some situations, but overall I don't care
-
Nothing, I don't think we should punish people for wanting to play together, I think we should focus on the issue of solo players being fairly weak and relying on good match placement to win most of the time. Not only that, but there is also the issue of certain killers being naturally unviable against good teams, and the list of problems with maps.

That's pretty much an impossibility

Large donations and voting support for extremely bigoted politicians pushing for anti-LGBT+ policies and stripping away human rights.
The donations were made before most of the politicians were exposed, don't get me wrong I believe that Scott should have been more careful with who he donated to, but lets not jump to the conclusion that he's homophobic. Another thing to note is that he has donated large amounts of money to LGBTQ+ organizations as well, which doesn't exempt him from being homophobic, but it definitely doesn't make sense for someone who is homophobic to donate to these organizations, does it?
-
Its gonna cost alot of time and resources that behavior most likely does not want to dedicate to. While a restructure of the games code and such would be a cool change (looking at ff7), I'm pretty sure that its not something that we could expect to see any time soon.
-
They mostly use big data to make changes, and somewhat use changes suggested from the community, from what we gather. They also believe that they know their game best, when there are people in this community who dedicate hours to take the time to give them proper feedback and changes that will improve the state of the game.

-I can now say On Midwhich Leon S. Kennedy is looping Mr Man behind the Slaugther while Nancy Weedealer is healing Laurie, while Quentin Smith Genrush
Silent Hill FNaF collab soon!?!??!?!?!??!?!
-
Why not? Its gonna bring in a lot of new people into the game, and fans of the franchise get to play the most infamous antagonist of the franchise. As someone who's been a fnaf fan from the beginning, I see no real problem with it coming into the game besides the power of the killer.

I could already tell from skimming through the post initially that you have a lot of experience with these systems, mainly due to the utilitarian way you explained it. I completely agree that this is probably the best system this game can have, but I just don't think it belongs in the game, this is an excellent post though and I hope more people read and understand it.
Pretty much my same standpoint, except I don't think its the best system the game can have, there's too much that can go on in a match of dbd that an mmr system really just can't keep up with it, no matter how perfected it is, but overall good post and pretty good take

People really need to stop joking about nerfing the Pig, because I think the devs actually take them seriously. 🤣
Lmao yea, hopefully we get a buff for our poor piggy soon :(

Trickster, Hag, and maybe Danny, he might not do that well in an actual 1v1 since all he does is stalk

I was a cracked Rainbow player, and I also played BF1, OW, and most COD games

Yeah, basically! lol
Personally thoguh, I've always disagreed with the whole "FNAF won't transition/fit well into DBD" statement. If they can make Pig and Pinhead work going on active chases, I think they can make FNAF work just as fine. Now, if the power is creative, that's a whole different can of worms, they'll def reuse the AI created for Nemesis and Pinhead though. As for the whole "fitting in" aspect, well, I think THAT is a whole load if you ask me. This vid legit summarizes it almost perfectly in my opinion.

And I mean, as for the characters... I still feel the entire concept works best as the first chapter with a map and a killer with no survivor.
glamrock freddy as new survivor pls

Never understood why people want FNAF. You cant even walk in this game. You are stuck in a chair watching security cameras.
Like how does that that transition to DBD?

I've played him for quite some time now and I do class myself a decent Oni, so I know how to play him and how it works. I am just saying that his power, in general, is great but against survivors who know what they are doing on comms with boons, etc is a nightmare for him. I don't know what to run at the minute; I go from the build I mentioned to Enduring, Spirit Fury, Tinkerer, Pop; BBQ, Corrupt, Monitor, Infectious etc. I've tried so many but it just makes you think there could be some slight changes to his power to make him a top-tier killer again as I believe he deserves to be up there, IMO Cursed Legacy is by far the best original chapter in the game.
Ah i see now, but I wouldn't say that its a problem with oni, but more so the power that a good team has
-
I feel like oni at the beginning of the game can be pretty weak, you kinda just need to treat him like an m1 killer. Also, look for the weakest survivor on the other side, down them, and then hook them in a dead zone. Another thing I recommend is getting rid of one of your slowdown perks and replacing it with monitor, its a great perk on oni.

The question is asking if you take the forums seriously, such as the discussion, people, and community on here. (Just your general thoughts)
Also you're almost there to the E-sports Forums League, keep her up homie
-
Hit n run until I find the weakest survivor, apply pressure to gens, snuff out totem if I have the time, and keep survs away from totems. I actually haven't had any real negative experiences with the perk luckily, but I can say that it is pretty nutty.

Don't k ow why people still complain to BHVR about this hacker issue. Been half a year and nothing has been done. Clearly BHVR doesn't care
Couldn't have said it better, the best way to play this game nowadays is with low expectations each game sadly

Happy to see that Pyramid Head is getting the love he deserves being placed high up

It would probably never happen, but maybe, so I'll be hopeful, now we just gotta convince the devs to do it

sorry, most of the things are absolutely bullcrap, kindred baseline? are you serious lmao.
why would I ever have such jokes in the game?
its a joke and its meant to stay as a joke as the persone above me just said
it would help with solo q, so I'm for it I (as a solo q player who plays both sides)
-
I can see this idea working out, but I'm still against it, mainly because most of the time, the swfs that you are playing against are just people who want to play with their friends, and its in poor taste to punish that. I am personally one for Scott's idea, where your bloodpoints are multiplied by the number of people in a swf. Another thing regarding swf is that people playing together should also be rewarded, since the solo q to swf ratio is like 80:1, and you get some extra bps (like a 10% bonus which is multiplied by the number of players in the swf) with playing with your buddies. I see games like apex, warzone, and overwatch do it, why not for dbd.

Is this about how killers switched to survivor because playing killer is unfun these days? Or it's just a coincidence.
nope just want to throw in ideas into the lore pool
-
On a serious note though, some of his addons are dumb, and his base kit needs a buff, overall he's okay
-
I am disappointed in the lack of Daryl, but I respect the need for Neegan

How'd y'all feel about the new QnA? I thought it was mostly terrible, although them announcing a change in the grind was nice (although its only with prestige)

I dont know much about Pinhead story
But i like to think that he has been... "invited" in the entitys realm to torture and break survivors, à bit like Ghosty boi or à fizw other killers that work with the entity instead of being forced to, and that he got a hell of à time because he can torture them again and again and again,
Yet just like Pyramid Head, if he feels like it, he can just leave the real as the entity doesnt have any proper control over him
I second this, both come from unimaginable places of extreme power, Pinhead from Hell, and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. They're individual powers are rooted from their place of origin, but even when severed, both still have extreme individual power (Pinhead not so much because of the box, and the fact that he was once human, but still fairly damn strong). So, if they really wanted to, I'd think that they can leave whenever.

I think the reason for this is just how much you could kinda do with, in your recommendation 1.5M. You could effectively get a survivor or killer to level 50 if you only had like 200k extra.
With that said, if you only get 250k for hitting red grade, thats kinda low. I would personally be okay with 250k however if you got like 1k or 1.5k shards on top of that. But like I said, if they give to many bloodpoints, it would take away from the BP grind for newer-ish players or even regular players. I would love a crap ton of BP, but I understand if they gave out large quantities for something like that, bloodpoints wont mean much.
I hope you understood my point. :)
Great point! You pointed out things that I failed to miss, and I actually agree with what you say. Of course, we don't want to destroy the grind entirely, but I definitely think that we can use the new grade system to help with some of the current issues of the game's grind, while keeping the rewards fair to all ranks.

@Ludicris said:
16m and it would be balanced. A purple add-on should not be a requirement to play a Killer comfortably
Honestly, I feel like a flat 24 meters is reasonable, due to the fact that pinhead already suffers from the survivors being able to cancel out his power when they find it, adding in a range such as 24 would feel more fair.
-
Honestly couldn't agree more, McLean was awesome, it was great having him in our community.
-
As wack of a map it is, both sides have certain areas that are in their favor, so I'd say its wack but fair.
-
Chris wipes the floor with King

clowns belly fat would be immune to the knives, and the gas of the afterpiece tonic would keep trickster drugged up, he wouldn't be able to aim properly

why does that matter in any way, I stated that this was from what I gathered from the short time that I played him.

Don't think this would work out well, and I don't think BHVR would want to spend the resources on this.
