or just a secondary effect to add lunges to carrying that don't consume tokens, that would make another fun carrying perk since sometimes that little extra edge is all you need for a free hit, although I think it would break with mad grit stacking back to back lunges so sadly I don't think it could become a thing
Honestly I think its best to add the effect to mad grit

I'm at 2 million as well. Im so ready for this new survivor

There is going to be war between the totem cleansers and totem blessers.

You never pointed out you're against both dude, funny how you only labeled me the bad guy
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2566654#Comment_2566654
Let's not forget your first response
You are the bad guy. You literally said that your going to slugg the person and leave them for a long time because they played the game.
And this post wasn't even about survivors teabagging at exit gates it was about you being toxic. You brought up survivors teabagging af exit gates out if nowhere as a red herring.

It's baffling how you're talking about how bad slugging is when survivors will 99% doors and wait till the last second of the EGC and t bag, go home dude
First of I never defended survivors standing in the exit teabagging the killer. That's toxic too.
Second what sense does that make? Calling out something toxic on one side doesn't mean I'm defending something on the other side my guy. I'm against both.
Honestly your being ridiculous.
-
Can I ask which map were you on?

And having to deal with broken loops/structures. Pallet after pallet that people prethrow anymore sounds any better....? But just play better. Am I right ?
So it's fair to be toxic towards a person for something outside of their control. That makes sense

Just like you'd like if you spawned in the exit
I never said I wanted to spawn in the exit. Yoi have the same mindset as a entitled survivor main. And it's baffling how you don't understand notice this
-
Survivors looping is toxic and warrants being slugged to death. Makes perfect sense. Killers like you are honestly terrible.
@glitchboi said:
So would you rather have survivors loop you or hold W? Make up your mind.
Killers like this don't like either. They would perfer if survivors spawned on the hook since anything else is toxic.

I never see people running Bite the Bullet, but I do see a lot running Iron Will.
I think more people should. It's pretty solid. I used it with Autodidact and it synergize so well In case the survivor decides to move when a skillcheck is in progress.

@GannTM said:
This might not be great in solo q because you wouldn’t know if the survivor on the ground is exhausted or not. Although it does seem like a cool idea and I guarantee people will use it.
You could have it ignore the already exhausted effect like with adrenaline. Would that be good.

What are some better perks to use?
There detectives hunch. I prefer detectives hunch because it also helps you find totems and it workes with open handed too. Deja vu is imo on the same level as Visionary.
-
I think so yes although there are definitely better perks. It helps a lot when you can't find a gen even in out door maps although less likely. It does pair well with open handed.
-
Thank you for noticing the mistake.

it should exhaust the dying survivor too.
Didn't I put that?

Oh I'm so glad your doing this series again
-
I will buy them just to have them. Even though they will be useless they will be a bit fun in some builds.
But if I should use them more often is to be determined.

Survivors are able to face plant walls while retaining maximum run speed while killers slow down or even stop if they rub against the same wall or obstacle. This means killers can't get around loops as quickly making them take longer.
I don't understand why survivors can glide over things that killers get stuck on. The dev's should have implemented something to slow survivors a long time ago but they won't.
I honestly don't know what your talking about. I get stuck on things all the time as survivor.

Game was balanced around new players who crouch walk around the map.
Even back in the day when maps were litter with pallets, vaults, and old jungle gyms, gens weren't this fast because survivors played around more.
Today, the game is too focused on ending as fast as possible and its both sides feeding it.
What caused this to happen?
-
I hope neither happens tbh. They seem like terrible ideas. I'm sure there are ways to buff killers without this.

Wouldnt you need iron will for this to work? I know Bite the Bullet mutes healing sounds but thought it still left you making regular injured noises?
It does but I don't think iron will mutes grunts when healing. I wanted a complete no detection when healing build.
-
I have thought of a build
Boon: Shadow Step
Boon: Circle of healing
Bite The Bullet
Botany Knowledge
The self healing build so that I can heal without the killer finding me any time
-
Yes but here both sides should be equal in terms of power but some people take it that they need to completely dominate the other making the other side seems as oppressed as possible, which I think is a bad mindset
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Don't people play video games for feeling of power
Maybe for single player games but in pvp games where your facing other people and not computers feeling the need to be domineering towards other seesm bad

Well in times like this it's best to ask an expert
@TheGannMan in your expert opinion as a spirit player, do you believe that she is in fact dead?
Other spirit mains please give your input to.

The devs should just remove grades from being shown on end game screen. It's clear that no matter how many times it gets repeated people will still complain about grades on the end game screen as why they lost the match.
I agree. I was thinking this idea too.

My thought Is that I think your being ridiculous

thats why you fix genspeeds to encourage killers back into leaving the hook because they feel like they can, then after that happens if they keep camping and tunneling, then you fix that but fixing tunneling and camping before genspeeds would be 10x a worse route to take
You do both at the same time to remove the possibility of killers using the strategies to gain an instant win with gen speeds slower.
-
@Squirrel_Thicc said:
No just revert the stridor nerf and I think it's fine.
This just put back how stridor was before. There was no need to nerf it.

Killers camp and tunnel because thats how they are able to be in the power role again. how are killers supposed to feel like they can leave the hook and have more successful chases without outright losing the game because genspeeds are busted?
This isn't about power role it's about fairness. Both strategies directly relate to each other. If you don't deal with camping and tunneling also then that makes them op strategies. Nothing is going to stop the killer from completely getting 4 or 3 kills every game by camping and tunneling since they wouldn't have to worry about gens.
-
@Munqaxus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/286578/genspeeds
You can't fix genspeeds without also fixing proxy-tunneling/face-camping. Gen-speeds have to be fast to account for the ability of a Killer to take a survivor out of the game immediately using proxy-tunneling/face-camping.
Those 2 issues are 1 side of the same coin. If you don't discuss a solution that addresses both sides, then there is no reason to even discuss it.
I agree with this completely.
You cannot deal with the issue of gen speed without also dealing with the issue of camping and tunneling.

I love blight. They are so fun

The game no longer matches you based on grades or ranks. Those are really just there for you to think "ok cool, I'm getting a BP bonus this month".
SBMM is a hidden rating that actually matches you with people with similar rating...As to whether or not it's people of similar "skill levels", I would say that's a fat no, because the devs couldn't be bothered trying to assess skill in this game in 2 years that they've been trying to implement this system
It's weird how people don't know this yet despite it being common knowledge now

Finally get variety and people are wanting it nerfed lol. And people wonder why survivor que times are long.
Not me I'm intrigued by this build and going against it
-
Would it really be to the killers benefit? Again killers always say they don't have time to do anything right? So why and how would they have the time to go to a totem spot and activate their hex totems? It makes no sense.
Also if a survivor happens to see where you placed your totem you would get no benefit from it anyway since the survivors would immediately close the totem.
-
You don't have time remember? Isn't that what killers say all the time? You don't have time to do anything else but you apparently have time to find a totem spot and put your hex.
-
I'm sorry but why does it matter now? They are being nerfed now right?
-
@Kurri said:

Because Boon totems gives Survivors more of a reason to seek out dull/hex totems.
Don't act like that Hexes don't become weaker just because of Boon-Totems. They do, and it's very obvious how.
I thought killers wanted survivors to seek out totems?
-
Wasn't this explained before? Hex Totems are stronger in strength compared to boon totems which warrants them being a one time use and boons being multiple use.
-
My blood point farming build is currently
Prove Thyself
We're gonna live Forever
No One Left Behind
Deliverence (Because apparently it give points) I use this build whenever a new survivor comes out and I want their perks.

@blue4zion said:
Your Good Fortune name made me think of another, especially with how lacking luck is, what if a boon just doubled or even tripled bloodpoint gains in the area?
That's not a bad idea actually.

Ah another killer vs survivor post. People ignore nonsense and carry on.

Can someone explain what's going on and what I'd nft

I'm just glad they are more balanced. I will definitely still use them.

-
A new combo with hex? My detectives hunch instincts are coming in
-
Your not serious right.
I guess survivors are not allowed to work as a team
-
I'm sorry but no. I'm going to have to disagree. I'm a survivor main and even I know they are broken. In the state they are now it could still see some use. I know I will use them
