Even after 4 years playing DBD, l still don't know how premonition works.
How it works is that when your camra is facing the killer within a certain range you get a noise notification. It helps determine the direction the killer is.

Mm...I'm a bit worried about this being one of those 'stomps newbies flat and barely effects high MMR' mechanics. It's a cool idea, but I can only imagine this one on RPD or Midwich from the survivor's POV.
Idk making things dark for the survivors could really mess up a lot of high mmr players. I can imagine just constantly running into objects because you can't see
-
Can we balance it though? We wouldn't want survivors to not be able to see 2 feet in front of them would we?

I'm assuming you're a little laggy if killers are getting hits after the survivor is finished vaulting
But here's my guess anyhow: When vaulting a pallet, you have a lingering hitbox that stays on the side of the pallet that you vaulted from (this is why you can hit a survivor vaulting from a drop down window while they are mid-air). So you're not hitting the actual survivor, just a leftover phantasm.
That would make sense

The guy in the video glosses over some important aspects of Jonah's lore to support his whole horrible evil irredeemable CIA war criminal reading. The way he words it, you'd think Jonah dropped the bombs himself with a big grin on his face and then sent taunting letters to the grieving families. The rebels in his story are not good guys, they used civilians as meat shields by deliberately including civilian whereabouts as decoys. The CIA had no way of knowing that this would occur, and it is ultimately due to the rebels that those civilians lost their lives in the first place. Jonah is just a small part of why it happened. The person who dropped the bombs is just as, if not more responsible than he is, as he just decided the messages. Pretending he's worse than the killer cast is just ridiculous.
And a good portion of Jonah's lore is based around him struggling to deal with being somewhat responsible for the deaths of those civilians. Just because he doesn't have an artist level "oh boo hoo my entire life is defined by meaningless tragedy" three paragraphs of mopey introspection in his lore doesn't mean he's not deeply wracked by it - it's mentioned a lot in his lore and flavour text. He's not going to embezzle money from the CIA because it is the rebels who put civilians in the line of fire. And sure, the CIA struck the decoys, but they are involved in a war and of course you are going to try to kill people in a war, that's a major part of it. Every soldier in history is a terrible terrible person by that logic, which is ridiculous.
The whole Pinochet reading works fine with artist, I don't think it works here, and I don't think it's even intended in the first place as it's never mentioned outright, alluded to, or even given a substitute Pinochet character to avoid the being of controversy. Jonah's lore isn't fantastic, but it's extremely overhated and I feel people just like to dogpile on it without really reading or thinking about it because "he CIA bad man ugly I don't like him".
Yep this completely
his story while not the best is completely overhated. Jonah didn't drop the bombs himself and the rebels wasn't the good guys.

I am on PC as Mushling88, can say it's an experience starting again, this is a FYI and know some will be like why do we care? it's cos I have had someone ask lol also reason I started again is because my son is now on DBD, and can say he kicks arse as Bubba, so now me, hubby and my son are all playing together. Watch out fog! Here we come! :D
That's so nice

That would be terrible

This is a really stupid post

I would probably be ok with the hug tech if it had a counter.
I'm not sure if it does so the question is does it and what is it?

I might be against the tec if it has a counter does it have a counter?

Premonition would like a word.
Seriously I feel like I'm the only survivor that uses premonition

I may not understand for killers but I do understand for survivors. I get anxiety and a feeling of dread loading up the game and playing survivor. I'm not sure why and it's been happening for a while

- Invulnerability removed
- After performing Dead Hard you are affected by Hindered (-15%) for 2.5 seconds
TheShapesMixtape Note: This change to Dead Hard removes the aspect of invulnerability, which reduces it's effectiveness against special attack killers primarily. The addition of Hindered affect makes it so a survivor cannot immediately perform a running vault after using Dead Hard, which reduces it's effectiveness at window loops.
This is the most balanced change i would make to the perk other than reworking it entirely.
2.5 seconds seems a bit much doesn't it. Why not 1 or 1.5 seconds

I will disagree with allowing DH to be used on the distance as the main concept of the perk. There's nothing involved and requires no skill or risk in this case, pretty much a safe route for the survivor where the killer cannot do anything against it. Speaking about DbD being a competitive game right now, people would get extremely frustrated at the unfairness of this perk if changed the way you want, looking at the current main complains.
It will make the community burning even more, I'd look for a DH rework instead or another nerf idea but definitely never in my life to agree on "let's make it only for distance" or to even support this use in the game.
Even by removing the invicibility, still a majority of killers are barred. I don't think we want a perk that provides a guaranteed safe escape in this game, at least by taking a risk, but not like that.
Well removing the distance would make the perk bad since killers can easily counter it. At least with reducing the distance it can be more skillful since it would require the survivor to plan out when it's best to use it for distance.
It's an exhaustion perk it should give distance
-
I would nerf it by removing the invincibility and leaving It only for distance. You can also slightly shorten the distance
Removing the distance would basically kill the perk and many killers would agree using it to dodge a hit had too many counters.
-
I want premonition buffed
-
So close. Try again
-
For Ghostface On downed maybe but On hooked no that would make him camping extremely annoying
For deathslinger. I don't really see a reason why not to decrease his terror radius
For onryo, I guess because her condemned bearly ever became full. I have not been in a game with her that has had a single survivor fully condemned.
For nurse. There is a 2 letter word that rhymes with low

I would actually like to see the evil within chapter

Funnily enough, I was struggling to get value out of Power Struggle and had to make a whole build around that perk. In doing so, I found a build that gives great Power Struggle value and Exponential value:
- Boon: Exponential
- Tenacity
- Flip-Flop
- Power Struggle
Setup your boon near unused pallets; work on a gen nearby; run to the pallet when the killer is about to down you. You can immediately begin to recover and crawl to the middle of the pallet. The killer may check for others before picking you up, but even if they don't and they pick you up immediately, you'll have recovered enough to stun them with Power Struggle.
Be sure to check out the auras of unused pallets while you're down, using Power Struggle, to see if there's another pallet you can run to afterwards.
I will try this thank you

RPD offering, Saboteur or toolboxes. Stack the totem with CoH because why not. Hook spawns are pretty unforgiving in this map and the killer will have to drop survivors frequently, who can pop back up provided they're on the right half of the map. Boons have massive coverage provided they're placed in the center 1/3 of the map (of which there's a couple excellent spots.)
The secret to all of the non-CoH boons is RPD. Midwich, Lery's, and the Game are inferior but still worthwhile choices.
I've seen Exponential get some scattered value on random maps - one notable time was when the gens were done and two survivors were left, and the killer tried to slug both survivors, only for the slug to pop up and make a break for the gates. But on maps where the totem is exposed and ultimately close to where you have to loop it, the killer's liable to spot and stomp it before it can do anything for you.
Badham is another good map for Exponential, but you want one of the variations where the basement is more in the center of the map than squished in a corner. The totem in the basement is pretty much an impenetrable fortress and the entire area around the preschool will have hyper-Unbreakable - which is great, because hooking people from within the preschool is already tricky. Just make sure that basement spawns in shack.
So In order to get use out of the boon I need to have a map offering?
If that's what it takes then ok

Every time I booned a totem with it, I was out of range when the killer left me lying and later on when I was downed in its range, they snuffed it or camped me so that I had no chance of getting up and running away.
That's what happens to me most of the time
-
I agree with this completely

Disclaimer, you must be in a SWF with multiple people using these perks all together.
Corrective Action + Stake Out + Prove Thyself.
Stake Out makes every good skill check a great skill check.
Corrective Action makes missed skill checks a good skill check, which in theory then allows Stake Out to upgrade it to a great.
The great will also recharge your own Corrective Action which you can use on your friend.
You may now proceed to completely AFK any and all generators.
Thank you

If they are destroying the meta then they have to make base gameplay adjustments since most meta perks are used to handle annoying issues (tunneling and camping and gen rushing)

Great amazing thank you

Vigil
I get it has to be paired with a perk, but when it is it's extremely convenient. It also benefits teammates, that are likely using an exhaustion perk, and overall just neat. I run it with For The People and Sprint Burst all the time; and I love being able to run away faster, faster; be able to be healed after using FTP faster; remove exhaustion of a survivor I was healing faster; etc.
Again, not great on it's own, but it does a lot if you have a build around it and it's not even something you need to work towards as it's passive.
Honorable Mention to For The People, but I feel like I've talked about it too much.
I use vigil with for the people and it's really good. When I use it with a friend we always make some insane plays
To op an underrated perk I have been using lately is Tenacity. It's such a good benefit to craw and recover at the same time
-
That person is terrible. How could they say such an awful slur like that?
-
Let me guess you somehow lost another game due to dead hard?
The more dead hard threads I see thr more skeptical I get about the people complaining about it.

There was a town that was ran by a guy (Otto) who wanted the whole community to preach joyfulness and essentially "postive vibes only". He did this by educating them techniques and meditations. Some folks started to disappear a d paranoia was become rampant but Otto disallowed any negative thought even if its logical. Eventually Otto became paranoid himself and murdered a journalist on a stage in front of the whole town and the people started to tear eachother apart. They all morphed into this black sludge and became The Dredge.
That's interesting. What about haddie?

Well, if you're concerned about pure numbers, survivors got double the generic perks that killers did when the Stranger Things perks were made generic, so it holds up on that end.
You do have a point. But I feel there definitely should he more generic boon perks

Boon: I'm Broke
For every second you stand within the boon's range, receive 50/75/100 blood points that aren't capped.
That would be great. The name would probably be change but that should definitely be a generic survivor perk

No adrenaline is fine as is and doesn't need a nerf
