For me premonition. It's so overshadowed by spine chill.

That would be great addition to dbd. He could ride on a ghostly horse

- A lot of killer slowdown perks are in the change list, which makes me think they're possibly going to slow gens down across the board to make killers feel less obligated to run a slowdown perk in their loadout. Then, to keep the slowdown perks from now being too powerful with the new base speeds, they'll nerf all those slowdowns in that perk list so that, if you do run them, the net slowdown isn't overly oppressive.
- I also noticed Circle of Healing not being on the list, which to me implies they're relatively ok with its current incarnation. They might be revamping the solo-only healing perks to make them a little more attractive as alternate choices to Circle of Healing. Or they might be tweaking some healing perks so they don't stack as much with Circle of Healing to keep net total healing speeds in check. Hard to say. 🤷♂️
- Finally both bloodpoint bonus perks (i.e. BBQ and Chili and We're Gonna Live Forever) are on the list. That to me implies they might be increasing the base bloodpoint gains per match so players don't feel as obligated to run one of these two perks to help them "grind", and then revamping these two perks to replace the bloodpoint bonus with something else. (Either that or just nerfing the bonus a bit so that if you use them under the new system you end up getting the same total bloodpoints on average that you currently get when you use them.)
I agree with your assessment.

A ton of survivor perks that deny info to the killer (Distortion, Sole Survivor, Off the Record, Lightweight, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, & Lucky Break) are getting attention, which suggests pretty strongly that they want survivors to have more tools to evade the killer rather than rely solely on outrunning them. Spine Chill is also on the list as a plausible nerf.
I suspect the intention is to make the game scarier and reward survivors for playing in a high risk, stealthy style.
A new stealthy meta would be nice but wouldn't they have to do something about chases?
-
Goes to show if the community is loud enough things will get changed. This is great that they are finally listening.
-
Not to mention you have to select the challenge instead of it being passive. We cannot get it in time especially since we have another tome in progress

It's very ######### when you consider they announced the 40 perk rework during the anni stream before the ptb was even out.
What's the ptb even for at this point?
Exactly. It's ridiculous

Hmmm, I think there are elements of this that can be used to buff the perk, but it's the type of situation where you have to choose between the two options. Either make it global and have it not turn good skill checks to great skill checks or Keep it with cooperative actions only and have goods turn to greats.
The problem I see with having both of these changes is that this perk synergies really well with stake out. You pretty much can get a guaranteed infinite amount of tokens where everyone on the map is both protected from failing a skill check and guaranteed the bonus for hitting a good skill check. Although this isn't a significant bonus, for healing, hitting the great on the skill check can actually add up to a lot of time saved and pressure on the killer.
You also have a weird situation going on when multiple people are running it in a lobby.
I want corrective action to work when someone else is healing you. I've had times where the person healing me misses the skill check and I wish that corrective action would work in that scenario.
It's a training wheels perk for your newbie friends, so I don't really see a need to buff it if the only purpose of this perk is that. It's a better version of technician really.
But we already have a newbie perk with technician. Why do we need more? And it doesn't take that long to learn skillchecks anyway (I'm assuming)

10 great skillchecks are the equivalent of 8 seconds, which is negligible for a perk, gens wouldnt fly unless you manage to score great after great to replenish them which can be done but not everyone manages that, there is a reason why nobody uses Stake Out or Fast Track even when they are very similar to what OP proposed.
That being said I believe the great skillcheck part shouldnt be added, this perk should stay as training wheels for newbies when they play with a friend, the global proposed change is a good idea and maybe a few more tokens.
But corrective action it's locked behind a pay wall plus there is technician which Is free for new players to use.

If this perks is like a global effect (aka you don't have to work with that Survivor together in order to this perk work, so anyone at anytime could fail with no punishmenet), then I don't like this. This would make gens even bit faster GLOBALY and 0 punishement for fail skilchecks for ANYONE at all time because 10+ tokens is super generous. Don't like this.
If this perks only works if you work with someone, then it would be nice small buff but that perk it would still be bad.
I don't think so. I think 10 is fine since it's also works with healing and not just generators meaning your probably going to go through tokens very quickly. Plus it's reliance on rng makes it a bit balanced since survivors have no control over it.
Making it work on cooperation just holds back the perk too much since your rarely with someone else when doing gens or healing.

OP: Complains about Ds
Also OP: *tunnels survivor*

Only if you're a 'Path Of Least Resistance' type is this true. I don't use any of the perks mentioned in this thread, at all, unless a challenge requires me to do so.
Urban Evasion, Iron Will, Distortion, Premonition is my build 99% of the time. I do well nearly every match.
Another premonition user. I thought I would never see the day.
We have similar builds
-
I'm glad. This is a killer that I'd fun for both sides. It's not overpowered or terrible. It's a perfect balance.
We need to use it as a standard for all killers
-
This doesn't seem like a bad idea
-
I'm almost there too. I just need one pip and I'm rank 1 again. Wish me luck
-
I wouldn't mind it deactivating during endgame if it can be use multiple times

I have a few. I think fixated + sprint burst is the best general stealth combination right now. Iron will and spine chill are probably the two best stealth perks after that, so wrapping them all into one build makes for a pretty sneaky playstyle.
Shadow step is the best stealth perk when you are inside it on indoor maps, especially with Lithe. So that's the idea behind the second build. Once you get into a chase, you vault a window and Lithe through the boon or Lithe to the booned area. Map offering as well to make sure shadow step works well
And finally the last one is more high-risk high-reward but you basically get the smash hit, break LOS, and then go find a place to silently heal
This is great thank you

Boring is not the word I would describe about it.
His nightfall is interesting and fun. His anti loop is annoying but has counters from what I have heard.

I love overcome definitely a solid exhaustion perk. You get so much distance even more the sprint burst. It's great and makes other builds nice

No

I hope premonition

no, the reason killers say everything the survivors do is toxic is because, flash light clicking, t-baging, t-baging at exit gates, killer tunnels/camps the killer should delete the game, etc. Most if not all killers consider looping a strategy and not toxic, and doing gens isn’t toxic either. I t-bag as survivor in chases to get the killer mad and so they make mistakes, but not at the exit gate when I can just leave.
I'm not talking about legitimately toxic things the survivors do I'm talking about just playing the game and existing

Oh yeah, definitely, but that doesnt mean Dredge has a very unbalanced aspect. Here's a build that is already quite strong for Demogorgon, and Demogorgon has to place his own portals:
Territorial Imperative, Make Your Choice, Devour Hope, Undying/Darkness Revealed.
It's more powerful than Bubba facecamping basement with Insidious and running NOED, because at least Bubba is limited to be inside the basement untill all gens are done. Dredge can basically do the same thing while chasing other survivors off the gens.
In the ptb didn't they make It so you can't teleport to hooked survivors?
-
Is this just another us vs them post?
Well I'm going to be a slightly hypocritical and contribute to it for a bit
K
Apparently everything a survivor does is toxic. You use meta perks or items your toxic for "abusing the game". If you use the maps and play normally your toxic. If you do anything that isn't standing still and letting killers hook you your toxic.
-
I haven't tried them put yet but I have a few build ideas
Residual Manifest with blastmine seems like a good combo
Overzealous, Inner Strength, Counterforce, Detectives Hunch/clairvoyance for a full totem build
I was thinking inner focus could pair well with Mettle of man, since it could help you find the killer fast enough to take a protection hit Inner Focus also seems to be good with self preservation
Those are my ideas so far.

Can someone explain to me why do Blight need the hug tech if he is already an s teir killer?

A lot of people argued that hug tech should be removed from the game because it's not intended. This implies that BHVR should make Blight work as intended. It's not intended for Blight to have major collision issues with short objects, so that should be fixed too.
All the people that are super interested in a hug tech nerf, but aren't interested in a short object collision fix, don't actually care about Blight working as intended, and are just saying "fix hug tech because it's not intended" as an excuse to get him nerfed.
I agree it should be fixed too

its a vicious cycle caused by the game design.
Survs do gens as fast as can to get out
Killers camp and tunnel to combat having 3 gens done by 2nd chase.
repeat
It's unfortunately true what's worse is that its hard to break the cycle
-
I'm curious if Blight is an s to a teir killer that takes skill why fo you need the hug tech?

Why do you use Premonition over Spine Chill?
Premonition has certain things going for it the benefits me and my playstyle. While the buffs that spine chill gives is good I often times find myself running into the killer then away because all it does is say that the killer is looking at you not where they are looking from
It's also really good for stalling and stealth. I have been able to delay and even avoid chases because I was able to run in the complete opposite direction from the killer.

Yes. I’ve used it, and I prefer it more. It’s highly ineffective on maps with multiple floors though like Midwich. It shoots a degree cone from where you aim your camera, and not where your body is facing. So you aim your camera left to right like a security cam (Haha). It works in the sense that you know which angle a killer is actually coming. This works incredibly well with Fixated. Once you know what direction a killer is surely coming from you can position yourself away from the killers camera line of sight. During cooldown you can play like you regularly would.
Spine Chill is good for the passive buffs it gives, but I hate that it procs whenever a killer is facing you. Why? When killers realize you have it they will actually begin to moonwalk in your direction so that it doesn’t activate as quick.
I’ve seen them do this with Premonition as they think I have Spine Chill. Nope. I see you coming every time, and from the general direction too.
Yep you sumed up the reason I use premonition over spine chill.
