@EpicFailTryHard consistently made me laugh because he seemed so earnest. @Lowbei is lazy. He he makes very obvious jokes and troll attempts. Not sure what the appeal is there other than the fact that he's always around. Kind of like when a bad sitcom is in syndication and it's always on tv so you learn to stop fighting it and just watch.

Can you stop tone policing everyone? If something is against the rules, report it. If you're upset because someone is rude on the internet then you should consider staying off the internet.Nickenzie said: -
Huh? You get way more points from gens and completing them faster means you're more likely to escape, aka even more points.SovererignKing said:I don’t run SC just because I know one too many Survivors who are overly reliant on it. They absolutely crumble under pressure of being injured, and make some stupidly HUGE mistakes because they are so used to “always being healthy” they panic like crazy when injured.
Plus, for the reason you said. They just want you to rush gens while they soak up the points. -
I see plenty.

You aren't "losing" anything if you don't get a BBQ stack because you never had it to begin with. Very rarely do I see all 4 survivors DC unless the game starts up and it's 3v1 with 5 gens.HellDescent said:Then you can imagine how killers feel when survivors dc and you lose bbq stacks, offerings and addons

Yeah I don't think I ever noticed it till this most recent patch but I can't be 100% sure.Orion said:@brokedownpalace said:
I feel like survivor footsteps are way too loud when I'm playing survivor. They seem fine as killer (maybe a little quiet), but as survivor I always feel like another survivor or a stealth killer is right behind me so I spin my camera around looking for them just to realize it's my own footsteps.Thank god, I thought I was the only one.

At least survivors didn't review bomb the Spirit...
Anyway.. I had no trouble finding matches as killer or survivor on ps4. We're the real reason pc and xbox even got this extra event

Actually survivors don't even have to move as long as they hold down the recover button (even once it maxes out).

That's exactly what I did!Esheon said:

Real pro-tip: At the beginning of all matches, run into random corner of the map, circle around some dumb thing a bunch, then run away. Come back in 2 minutes and some survivor will be there. /fist pumpAnother pro-tip: if the hatch is open, stand still in a random location with clear line of sight of your surroundings. The Survivor will think you're at the hatch and come to you (if they don't know where the hatch really is).

I think they were going for the demons from the original Evil Dead. And they succeeded. But as much as I love that movie, there's a difference between hearing the demon voices for 2 hours vs the many, many hours spent playing the game.

I see plenty of Spirits on PS4. And hmmm.. maybe people aren't playing her as much because they want to use their favorite killer who was more perks and add ons rather than a level 3 Spirit with 4 tier 1 perks and a bunch of brown add ons to choose from?
-
No, Vigil isn't an aura perk.

Killers do not need to run Ruin every time. It's a waste of a perk slot, IMO.

What does this even mean?Dragonredking said:@Rootlo said:
If you blow up a gen then it should be too hot to touch for like 15 seconds forcing you to either wait or go and search for a different gen.As it is now, if you blow up a gen you only lose 4 seconds. Its not punishing enough, especially since most gens are by windows/pallets so even if the killer does come I can escape easily.
People are still failing skillchecks?
Jesus...
1. Constantly new players
2. Sometimes a loud noise (like a hook) will mask the sound
3. Not everybody blares their volume and stares at the screen without ever looking away
4. Perks and powers that make skill checks harder
5. Skill checks that pop up as you're letting go of the gen
6. Missed great skill checks
7. Distracted by action nearby -
1. Add ons are stronger and last the whole match (they do not have charges).
2. Killers can't die. -

Listen, I know you're an easily triggered killer main, but it's pretty clear I wasn't looking for "sympathy."Vankruze said:You'll get no sympathy from anyone for running the biggest crutch perk in the game.

It's like when Windows of Opportunity and Boil Over were in the PBT and people were like "Hey, these perks are kind of useless." And then they did absolutely nothing to make them any better. And they nerfed Autodidact LOL.

Maybe you're just bad with him?

What? You literally just wait 1.5 seconds and you can hit them. You'll learn to time it right. ADAPT.
-
Having so much fun staring at the start screen. Great update.

Botany is a speed increase, Autodidact adds instant progress. They're two different things. Botany makes healing others about 2.4 seconds faster. Autodidact could possibly complete a heal in about 3-4 seconds. It doesn't rely on you needing to be the one to unhook like WMI.linglingen said:There's literally no reason to run this perk over WMI for team healing. Or BotanyK for a flat permanent increase.
I'm not sure if Autodidact is worth it yet, but each perk has its pros and cons. Of the three Botany is definitely the weakest and Autodidact is the most situational.
I just healed someone and got 4 skill checks in that one heal. -
Because they're scared of the free self unhook.

How do you play 8v2 in identity v? I can't find the option anywhere
-
@not_Queen
Similar to past events, in that each invite offering used spawns an extra event hook or gen (2 gens and 2 hooks spawn by default). The twist..
Killers and survivors have to collect candy for some kind of reward (spooky cosmetics). Killers collect it from completed event gens (2 candies each gen) and survivors collect it after being hooked on an event hook (1 candy each hook, same hook can get a new candy each time). At the end of the trial killers also get 1 candy for each kill and all survivors get 1 candy for each gen, event or not, done before they died.
So both killers and survivors are rewarded for completing their objectives and when the other side completes theirs. This makes it so every game counts, even if you get no kills or no escapes. You can cap the amount of candies possible per game, or just adjust the amount required for the reward.
This would mean less event hook sabotaging or gen camping.
Acquiring a candy also gets you the BP bonus if you played the special Halloween invite. If you cap the candies each side can get during a trial, when they reach that cap they receive another BP bonus.

I brought this up before and got downvoted (Reddit) cause "killers have it hard enough."

It should calculate whose feelings will be hurt the most by a loss and give a win to them.

When I play as survivor I'm pretty torn on how quickly to get gens done. If I don't get to work on them immediately then my teammates might not either, or they might be terrible, and things can quickly snowball into getting 0-2 gens done because the killer dominates.
On the other hand, if gens are getting done too quickly then there are a few problems: 1. Even if we succeed and 3 or 4 of us survive, we'll get ######### for points and pips, 2. The killer might get frustrated/discouraged and disconnect, 3. If you do happen to get caught and gens are popping left and right, then you're very likely to get hard camped by a killer desperate to secure one kill, or 4. Killers who play for NOED or end game builds are a lot less likely to put pressure on gens and the quicker they get done, the less likely all 5 totems will be cleansed (and getting downed with NOED and camped because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time feels cheap).
So yes, "gen rushing" sucks for both sides. But when you're a solo player it's incredibly risky not to work on gens and assume your teammates will. I've been chased for the first 3 or 4 minutes of the trial, no gens will pop, and when I'm downed and my teammates' auras are revealed, they'll be sneaking around doing totems and opening chests.

Only a die-hard killer main would look at Boil Over and say it's a good perk.

It would be posted everywhere if it was known. They're not going to keep it a secret.

Yeah it's funny how this is barely talked about. Just a lot of whining about what people didn't like.

I like how you're quick to assume the killer was bullied and is telling the truth, but ignore the fact that they call the survivor a #########. You comment on the fact that these pics are without context but then proceed to make your own context that favors the killer. That's bias in action.Tzeentchling9 said:Two pictures without context. One showing the endgame of a clearly bullied baby Nurse since the Survivors all immediately gave the GGs and the Nurse was already upset, and the other with the Survivor admitting to abusing loops as much as possible.
