I read somewhere that rank reset rewards are planned and will come after MMR comes out and ranks get reset to 20 every month.
BPs are the only rewards unfortunately.

She is awake. Survivors need to be in dream world for them to have any interaction with snares or pallets.

This isn’t unique. There are other areas in other maps that are meant to be dangerous to work on the gen there. Thompson house comes to mind. If someone wants to take the risk of repairing that gen, they run the risk of being hooked up there with no way to be saved if the killer decides to guard the staircase. Survivors are meant to asses these risks before choosing gens to repair.
Lets be honest here, it isn't meant to be a dangerous hook. Its just plain oversight by the devs. Besides she wasn't even on the gen. She was carried up there by the killer. All she did was loop the killer around a dense pallet area and went down because she made a mistake. It reminds me of PH being able to facecamp the survivor on the cage making it impossible to escape that particular survivor. That wasn't fair. How is this?
When twins were able to bodyblock survivors from entering basement the devs did something about it which despite wasn't successful, they still addressed it as an issue. Same with pyramidhead. Why is this any different?

How do you compare the worst killer in the game to the second best killer in the game?
I believe that's his point. He is comparing the power level difference between the two killers.
-
Did they said that? Do you have a source?
-
I personally think it's good they did that because if they didn't, he will be addon dependant and people using this add-on will pat the stats back up and give a wrong impression of the killer.
He will still get buffed but it might be longer than expected.
-
I think it still does its job of punishing the killer for tunneling which is what it's always meant to do.
If you can work on a gen then you aren't getting tunneled so you can continue to progress the game. It's meant to be a shield against tunnelers. I dont expect it to be used if killer is playing fair.
-
I can only assume it's a balancing mechanic. It's like the Dev's version of a submachine gun and they possibly wanted it to feel similar.

I wish I'd get the Nurse. I only seem to ever get Trickster, Legion, Ghostface and Clown anymore. My last Nurse match was like a week ago.
Trust me, you will regret getting nurse and spirits every game.

The Devs messed up how stun mechanic works. I'd assume it's because they looked into it to incorporate smash hit.

Last time I checked, it still works excellent as an anti tunnel perk. According to many, they needed the anti tunnel perk to counter tunnelers. What has changed now?
-
I used to run balanced landing and dead hard. Now running autodidact instead and cant recall how many times I cucked my teammates.
-
I guess everyone can agree that trickster needs some buffs to be viable. You can say that I beat a particular team with trickster but if you think about it, you will realize that you would have beaten the same team much more conveniently with another killer like deathslinger for example.
-
When he first came out, its highly likely killers try and use his knife whenever they can. Now they might be a little bit more controlled.

Have enough people made bug reports you think?
Doubt it. But I'm sure as hell gonna make one.

It felt better during PTB. According to patch notes, they tweaked his collision a bit after the PTB which probably undo'd everything. You still bounce off of hatches as well while it's invisible.

How would any survivor actually escape a chase of semi-infinities were removed? It’s already extremely hard to get away from the killer as is.
You are not meant to escape chases. This mentality is what hurts the game. You are only meant to delay killer for as long as possible with the resources you got.
-
You mean the bugs* that come out every chapter?
-
Wouldn't balancing around SWF hurt solos though?
-
It's difficult to move away from it once you start using it and become dependant on it. It's more like dead hard in that regard.
-
The issue with him is for everything he does, there is a killer who can do it better
-
Can you space them out into paragraph please? It really hurts the eyes.

Doctor, rank 16, cross-play enabled. I literally can't get a match. Updated to 4.6.0. so that's not the issue.
New killer and two killer changes just released so more killers trying him out i guess.
-
Trickster's cosmetic and VOs are really good and unique. He just don't feel threatening yet.

And tunneling has increased.
Which means more people will go back to using DS. Only this time it will not hurt people who don't tunnel.

False. We used DS because it was a good perk. Now it’s not. Imagine tinkerer only with the aura reading. Will you use it? Same happens to DS. Useless perk now
If you look at posts that said DS needs a nerf, the counter argument was almost always 'Killers will tunnel without DS. Its forced'.
-
Played 4 survivor games. 4 Tricksters. All 4 struggled. 2 people had to facecamp to have a chance but it didn't help. He feels very underwhelming.
-
I don't know about meta but its definitely a wonderful perk with multiple uses.

So?
If your team not being hooked you are winning anyway.
This perk giving you a BNP without you really need to do anything.
I dont really have any problem with it. I'm just clarifying. It's kinda like noed if you think about it.
-
Isn't that the perk that rewards survivors for getting hooked?
-
It's theoretically how deathslinger is played though. He's like a weaker deathslinger in that regard
-
I agree that there should be an obsession every game.
As for tunneling, when the number of tunnelers increase more people will start to use DS and it will go back to a place where it once was.
-
Very unlikely. If all the upcoming changes are already mentioned on twitter then probably 0% because they would have sent it to sony and microsoft already.

All-Kill chapter itself is nothing more than a disappointment for me, but I truly am excited for the new changes. Playing Blight and Wraith is going to be so much better.
Guess it's say to say all-kill successfully killed your hype.

Now he will know how it feels to get facecamped inside basement

You can bait out head on.

Probably won't fit the theme.

If you get more BP from codes, your BP limit also increases until you spend them I guess.

Okay so a couple things here.
1) You can just as easily do this in solo, don't blame everything on SWF.
2) You can perform the exact same thing with a 99'd Sprint Burst.
3) Part of the speed boost is used during the dropping pallet animation so the 4 seconds is closer to 3s or maybe even 3.5s.
4) "Especially with Lithe-" You do realise Lithe is also an exhaustion perk, right? And that by using both of these together they're effectively handicapping themselves pretty substantially as the perks are designed with anti-synergy, right??
I think by lithe he means the survivor who gets saved by the pallet slam vaults the pallet and then scoots off the vicinity.
-
If you've DCed previously, the penalty adds up.
-
I don't usually do more than 2 killer games per day. Sometimes 3 if I had some quick games and always a different killer. Around 5-7 survivor games. I either steamroll the killer or get steamrolled by a meta nurse.

I do play killer.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/237236/numbers-from-25-wraith-red-rank-matches
I have every killer achievement except for Twins achievement. I haven't bought Twins.
I didn't mean it to be offensive don't get me wrong. As you go higher and higher in ranks you will start to realize that you need to be very efficient to win games and in certain instances you might just get steamrolled and feel helpless. You used to keep winning and it creates that mindset that you are good at the game and then you go against survivors like this and to add to that, toxic chat and behaviour.

Oh ok.
Yeah that’s dumb. Why on earth are survivors holding that button down while in the dying state?
Could just be subconscious or the survivor wanted to sprint immediately as soon as he got up. Still annoying but I can see why it might happen.

So fairly new to killer. If you don’t mind sharing, what are you most afraid will happen when you play killer? Or to phrase differently, is there something you don’t want to happen when you play killer more than everything else?
When you start playing killer more often, you'll slowly start realizing.
-
It is technically a god pallet after the generator is completed but otherwise its a death sentence.
-
At higher ranks vs SWF it isn't balanced and favours survivors more. On every other rank it depends on matchmaking and who you go against.
Oh, and also maps. Maps and the RNG of loops also play a role in balance which is why it's always difficult to tell if the game is balanced or not.
-
Tapping a gen is technically progressing the game and survivors will now start to tap gens to force DS or gen-tap progress like old ruin days.

Just curious, why is that even an argument? I have not seen Spirit Fury for months. And rarely run into Enduring as well.
@Topic:
It is clearly outclassed by Sprint Burst and Dead Hard and really weak. Head On and maybe Balanced Landing might be the only Perks who are weaker. However, there was not that much left to create a new Exhaustion Perk.
I dont think it will see much use, Killers can counter it by respecting Pallets, it is only really useful at unsafe Pallets (because you want to stay on the safe ones) and you might even get a Killer who is unlikely to get stunned (Spirit, Nurse, Hag, Huntress, Deathslinger, as examples). Let alone that Latency can easily mean that the Survivor will get hit.
It's not meant to be an argument. It's a piece of information. I neither agreed or disagreed with the OP.
