Then you haven't experienced his main event power being hard countered with small loops (as simple as a single Rock) and the laceration resetting mid chase
I believe you are not supposed to lose movement speed while in main event as per the description. If that's true then PTB version should have been bugged.
With that said though, while some changes are good, they feel insufficient.
-
True but people will still buy his cosmetics so they earn money that way. I'm pretty sure they will make him stronger when he comes to live or afterwards in a hotfix if they didn't have time to fix him.

He isn't S tier but pretty high up.
I mean if he has his blood fury ability all the time, he'll be S+ tier just because of how strong it is. I was specifically talking about his ability and not the entire killer in general.
-
It's a shame when content creators don't realize that there are people who look up to them and try to be just like them. They severely underestimate their influence on people ardently watching them.
-
I think the majority of players want keys gone. People who don't want it gone are the same people who play single player games on ultra easy mode with full aim assist.
-
His demon ability makes him S tier easily but the thing is he needs to charge it up first and you don't get it for free. He definitely has counterplay. Either the first survivor to get chased should not be greedy and make sure he doesn't give the first hit. The second counterplay is to just hide when he is in his power. He's fast which means he's highly unlikely to check lockers and stuffs and even if he finds you, you'll kick him out of his power and not give him any blood in return.
The issue is solo survivors don't do either of them.

While i agree, that we have to wait for MMR to kick in, i have a bad feeling about it. I think killer streamers like Otz and True will only face seal team 6 SWF squads and vice versa. Which will result in pretty long queues for one side and a miserable experience for the other one.
I feel like this is a good thing. This will finally reveal the true balance of this game to every player and then the devs can adjust from there on.
-
Should have been chains of execration
-
I would say wait until MMR comes out and stabilizes before balancing the game. MMR should massively change how the game plays out if it works correctly.
-
Deathslinger requires you to have good aim and is definitely more fun if you can hit your shots. Spirit is the strongest. Legion is the easiest to use. Legion and spirit have some equally decent perks.
-
I face this issue as well. All the devs need to do is remove requirement for mashing space until they come up with an alternative. Get rid of it please.
-
I was thinking of an item, sort of like a breach charge that can break breakable walls as survivor whilst consuming the item. Breaking certain walls should favor survivor too though in a way like letting you open a path that lets you get a fast vault at a window which otherwise would just be a medium vault if you take the other open path.
-
Apparently it'll be getting graphically updated when the next chapter comes to live. Will the size be decreased and totems be well hidden? Definitely possible considering the other maps that were graphically updated got balance changes alongside them.
-
Could be, but until we see a clip we can't know for certain.

You are also forgetting, that many killers have the ability and possibility to one shot the survivor, hexes can spawn also in killers favor, and if you are blindly chasing the survivor its only your fault for doing so. You can stop the chase whenever you want and go back to the generator.
You will eventually have to take the chase though. There will be a situation where you cannot stop chasing every survivor that tries to push you off gens. Default gen regression is 4x slower and there are 3 survivors which means if you continue to give up on chases, the gens will slowly but surely go up in progress until it gets done.
One shotting survivor isn't given for free either. The killer needs to work for it. One thing I can agree with you is the luck element involving hex perks and I personally don't like it either but it is what it is.

Oh please, in the majority of the cases late game with 1-2 generators is played at least without one survivor if you played like a mediocre killer, that's automatically a much easier situation to be in, additionally, if the generators are with a convenient location for you, then survivors have a brought time to finish the last gens. You can even counter early game by picking dysonans. Everything goes down who made more mistakes but if we take median then the late game is the hardest time to finish generators for survivors while the possible locations are reduced as well as the number of a team.
Reduced distance for killer to cover only increases the safe zones the survivor gets to run to for healing or taking the killer with them. Killer put their experience and skill to get a survivor out of the game while applying pressure at the same time. Where's the skill the survivor put to finish the early gens? More often than not it depends on luck and where the survivor spawns. Survivor might spawn in front of a hex or maybe they spawn at a dead area where they have to move a bit to find a gen. Luck based. You are also forgetting that there are 4 survivors and the killer can only chase one. Yeah, he can push multiple but cannot commit to them and pushing is never sufficient enough.
-
Spirit is the strongest of them all. You will make less mistakes with freddy and he is strong too. Oni is a fun killer to play. Wait for wraith buff next chapter before you try out wraith. Myers is..meh. Oni is better imo.

At some point in life, you are starting to be exhausted by bringing arguments that are ignored by the other side. The most logical thing I can tell you is, of course, killers need to have a harder early game since they have much easier late game. If you want to be in a favored situation through the entire match then you don't expect fair play at all.
I don't know where you get this idea of killers having a easier late game. It depends on how well you have performed in both early and middle game that decides how difficult your late game will be. Early game is completely dependant on where the survivor spawns and their mistakes. Killer can 'guess' where they might be but it isnt confirmed. Besides getting into chase quickly doesn't automatically make it easier for killer. It only makes it mandatory for more survivors to loop well and waste time.
-
If the killer has any luck like me then it's definitely not haunted grounds.

This post reminded me of GhostFace's PTB
Ghostface got buffed while in PTB wasn't he? I wonder why the devs dont update PTB anymore.

Ah, the killers are biased as always. The majority of this whole forum is killers patting themselves at the back.
When I said spirit's stand still mindgame needs to go, a few called me survivor biased. If you can bring in an counter argument, then we can have a healthy discussion. Your post adds nothing productive.
-
He's like the third killer in a row that is bad in PTB. I have full confidence he'll be much better when he comes to live. Keep in mind, his main event ability was apparently bugged and a little bit more tweaks to his power and he can be a fun killer.
-
His main event ability was apparently bugged. Tweaking it more to be useful will automatically make him decently good.

How is that fair?
Keeps every player engaged from the start of the game. You can still loop the killer and waste his time and thats how it should be. Not because the killer cant find survivors early on. That's why the devs said they are looking into early game way back.

I dont think 20 will be a licensed one. I think they'll make it the LGBT chapter to profit off of Pride.
Looking forward to an LGBT character finally being added I just wish they wouldnt try to profit off of it so much...
Highly likely its a licensed chapter considering previous history of licensed chapter releases during anniversaries. The fact that we did not get a licensed chapter 3 times in a row only reinforces that fact.
-
To be honest, this is how every game should be in the first place.

but it can still be forced. you can still force locker grabs. I've never seen a forced totem grab (though technically possible I guess) and its not possible to force a heal grab
True but going inside a locker isnt productive. It only means you went after someone who just got off the hook and not doing anything productive. Forcing hook grabs would massively hurt killer's momentum.
-
One or two person on a gen is the most efficient way. Making it so 3 or 4 can't work on it only forces the survivor to work more efficiently.
Kicking a finished gen will come with a lot of issues. How do you get coup de Grace and fire up stack? Will bitter murmur work twice for one gen? Will ruin regress it once you kick it or is it still 25% regression speed?
-
Let's not forget that the new exhaustion perk also directly counters spirit fury and enduring.
-
@supersonic853 said:
I know their gonna brutally murder the exhaustion one because survivors can't live without their exhaustion perks for 90 seconds. It's a anti dead hard.
I dont think she will have one anymore.
-
I don't think P3 should give benefits that affect gameplay. I personally think its a bad idea.
-
When they vault. Medium or fast.
-
I like the idea but it punishes good players for getting teamed with much casual ones more than it already does now. Now imagine if this happens to them every game and then their MMR drops significantly to a point where MMR isn't just reliable anymore.
-
I've been getting decent games so far. Nothing too extreme. Occasional purple and green ranks sprinkled but overall it's just fine for me

@Phasmamain said:
His main problem is his lack of lethality so I’d try to fix that first
Legion needs just one hit to down a survivor and considering that he will save time in moving across the map, it only means more time he can spend on chases and breaking pallets before he starts losing gens. He can also go around kicking gens with the speed or push people off which indirectly gives him more time to chase. Personally I feel making his frenzy lethal would only make him frustrating to go against.
-
@lagosta said:
I am not sure how I feel about that. My main issue playing legion is not the frenzy duration, but that I feel like a killer without power while trying to down an injured survivor.
The idea is to give him more time to take chases by compensating it with the time it takes to go across the map.
-
I'm pretty sure the devs retweet several artist works when a new killer is released. Balance or how the gameplay of killer is has nothing to do with it.
-
I like the ash one. Very true. I'm a cheryl main and the description is accurate too. I only tbag to salute another survivor

And are you slowly becoming a trickster enthusiast XD.
Love his kit btw, just a small tweak would make him playable.
His main ability is bugged so no wonder he's weak.
-
The game looks at you getting fck'd by good survivors and be like "here, get fck'd more.
-
@SleepyWillo said:
I think a change was needed but this one is way over done. if it just deactivated when you work on a gen it would have been enough to start from and assess from there. deactivate on unhooks is so dumb in my opinion.
It's to prevent people who abuse DS to force a hook grab
-
I like the gen parts idea but I feel it's too late for the Devs to implement them now. The reason I like it is because of how a big map will now hurt the survivor as it does to a killer.
-
Post seems familiar.
-
The devs better watch out before they remove that random patch of grass at the corner of the map. They might lose some customers.
-
I'm curious about pyramid head. His addons are really bad and do nothing for him so I wonder why it mattered. Are you talking about the advantage range addons give him?

Why iron maiden?
I guess its to increase reload speed but it doesnt really work on him. Either a bug or not a feature.
-
Actually a good idea. Stacks really well with STBFL
-
It hurts me more than it hurts the survivors.
