there are no grey toolboxes. the toolboxes are fine how they are. maybe you should try playing ruin and patrol the gens a bit better.
another trash thread from a killer basically saying "plz make gaem ez-r 4 killerz"
I have a hard time believing that you actually think 3 Survivors escaping for free after the other one dies is balanced.
-
Brutal Strength is much better on Clown than Enduring. I'd say it's one of the best perks for Clown, in fact.
Survivors tend to drop pallets early against Clown, so you probably won't end up eating a stun (making Spirit Fury + Enduring pretty much worthless on Clown).
And if they get caught in your gas, they won't be making much distance while you're breaking the pallet.

this madlad: NERF BBQ IT OP AND EVERYONE USE IT REEEE
We should nerf all Killers and their perks so Survivors don't have to learn how to play against them.

@TragicSolitude Yes, hence why I said "the killer can ... prevent, or at least delay, the bleedout."
The killer picked me up, I spent time wiggling free while my bleedout timer was paused, I got free, the short stun time is a joke, I'm no longer bleeding out, I was downed soon after, I got 1 second of bleedout time before I was picked up...
Do you see the problem yet? I lose 1 second of bleedout time every 30 seconds (maybe faster if I don't run and hope the killer downs me right away). Now, 4 minutes of bleedout multiplied by 30 seconds for each second of bleedout is... two hours!
They should just develope dumb AI to pilot the husk of my character after I concede out so that the killer can keep playing his stupid pawn games for that precious, precious 4K.
I have never seen a Killer do this once. What rank are you?
Also, if they're constantly letting you go you should definitely be able to make it to a loop in time.
-
If you want a game-breaking item, just use a key.
-
You don't need to mash it that fast. Sometimes that actually results in you dying because the game might not realize you're pressing the button very quickly and not just holding it down.
You could also try changing the struggle button to mouse wheel down. I haven't tried it myself, but I've seen a lot of people do it so it should be helpful.
-
Hope gives the same speed, but it only activates once, and that's when the gens are done. Could you imagine a version of Adrenaline that activated every time you cleansed a totem?
If you've gone 200 seconds without a Generator being done, you don't need Underperform.
Overconfidence can be activated after pretty much every hook if you just play normally and there's no way for the Survivors to reliably counter it. Also, how long does it last?
-
Second effect is insanely good. The first effect is also powerful and renders Left Behind pointless, especially since it can show the hatch before it even spawns.
Keys are already game breaking. We don't need more perks to help them activate.
Perhaps the perk could let you open the hatch without a Key, but only if you're the last Survivor? It should definitely have some more requirements though. Maybe it should take some time to open and have some way of letting the Killer know you have the perk once the hatch closes. Then it wouldn't be uncounterable, but they'd have to watch both exit gates and the hatch.
-
Does Gambler's Luck stack with Technician? Which one activates first?
Perks that effect the Tokens of other perks can't really be balanced because each Token perk is different. Not every perk even has a maximum amount of stacks. This perk also makes stacks so easy to get.
Sole Survivor doesn't have a max amount of Tokens in the description, so you could potentially gain complete immunity to aura reading. Even if it was changed, you could just sabo 3 hooks or cleanse a few totems and you have 72 meters of aura immunity.
Distortion with the ability to get stacks back would be pretty strong, too. It wouldn't be as reliable as Sole Survivor, but you'd also get the benefit of leaving no scratch marks along with unlimited range.
Mettle of Man would be insane with this. The only reason it's not good now is because it's near impossible to activate unless you throw the game.
The fact that this gives a Token to each Token perk you have makes it even more powerful.
-
So it's like the opposite of dance with me where it removes scratch marks leading up to a window?
-
2 seconds is enough to be able to activate it at most good loops and most pallets for free distance.

GF has a single play style: stalk 1 Survivor, take down 1 Survivor
Shape has various: his base ; forever in Tier3 ; forever in Tier2 ; forever in Tier1.
I do concern about "Forever in Tier1 add-on" face a Spine chill Survivor.
Shaper Tier1 need to have Undetectable status. Just alone fog effect on screen cause lower the view angle is already a soft kind of nerf.
Ghostface has two playstyles. You can try to play him as intended or you can play him the good way where you run sloppy + thana + nurse's and never stalk, using your stealth to get free hits instead.

Well, it's super stupid, but create a build around the challenge. Like Pharmacy, Plunder, that useless Ace's perk to increase aura reading, Sprint Burst. Stupid challenges require stupid builds.
Hey, open handed is awesome.

Though I've dished out my fair share of boopage as the Crazed Snoot Booper, I haven't played enough Pig to get booped myself.
Not that I don't like her, I love stealth killers, but it's like Hag or new Freddy where I never think to myself "you know what? I feel like playing this killer today."

Overcharge + Surveillance = EZ gen control
You could just run surveillance and have an extra perk slot for pretty much the same effect. This perk really only works on impossible skill check builds. I only liked it on pre-rework Freddy.

@InnCognito said:
The game should NOT award bloodpoints for using this perk. Essentially they are incentivizing bad behavior. Here is the thing, and why as a Killer. I do NOT run BBQ
When BBQ is used in lower ranks. it is OP. Most survivors at that rank Want to AVOID the killer at all cost. They follow the outter walls and stay hidden.
Higher ranks and SWF are always heckling the killer. Which makes the perk useless. Doesn't matter. A person barely can get time to hook one survivor, as they will form a train infront of you. To the hook. Since players won't practice the killer correctly. THey wonder why SWF is very powerful against them.
So... moving away from the hook instead of camping is bad behavior?

seriously i'm gonna make a boring tally chart then, so i can see just how many times i beat her. i'm definitely not on anything either, lol
Dude, you're on console. Nurse has always been garbage on console.
-
I'm on the fence whether she's still the absolute best killer in the game, but she's definitely top tier. People who say she's C tier now gotta be on something.
-
Bugs, unless I know what they are and they're not dangerous.
I don't like parasites of any kind, and probably the most freaky things to me are creatures that can lay eggs in your skin or anywhere in your body, really.
-
Both sides complain. The difference is the expectations the game puts on them.
As Survivor, you can easily pip up even if you die. You'll only depip in extreme situations like multiple DC's, tunneling, or the killer mopping the floor with your team.
As Killer, if you let the last Survivor go you'll likely get a black pip or a single pip at best. And that's only when you actually manage to kill 3 Survivors.
If 2 people escape, you're probably depipping. How does that make sense in a game that's supposedly balanced towards 2k's?
I don't expect to get a 4k every game, but the game does. I wouldn't have a problem with some survivors escaping if I wasn't punished so severely for it.
-
As an Ace main, I just like being the hero.
-
I would love multiple farming perks. Though as I've suggested before, they shouldn't stack above 100% and should mainly be used for build variety, similar to exhaustion perks.
-
While I think Agitation is better, it's still a decent perk and serves its purpose.

Do you know what things were like before those items were nerfed?
Flashlights could instantly blind a killer who was just walking at you.
Insta-heals picked up a dying survivors to full (two health states). You were probably around for this one, but it was OP nonetheless.
A toolbox could instantly finish a gen with BNP.
Sabotaging permanently removed hooks, forcing the Killer to try to make it to the basement.
Keys let you escape for free, and bring your friends with you. In the event that you do end up dying, no worries because there's an add-on that lets you keep it. You don't need to worry about using it when you don't need to, either, because another add-on lets you keep it after using it.
So what will we have left after keys get nerfed (and hopefully Moris, since they're the Killer version of keys)? A more balanced game.
-
I'd like to see an SCP added. Radical Larry is the first to come to mind that fits the game.
Peanut would be really difficult to implement as fun to use without being glitchy (especially considering that revealing Ghostface still has problems). Others that I can think of are equally difficult to implement well or not humanoid (I know Demogorgon isn't human but he can at least walk on two legs).

Okay well thank you for the advice I really appreciate it 😊.
also I try not to main one but my most levelled up is Meg.
Megs are usually assumed to make bad choices, but I don't think people see them as toxic, so I guess that's probably not a reason you're getting tunneled.
It might just be the rank you're in. If you're around the yellow ranks, killers are much more likely to camp and tunnel, whether that's their idea of having fun or they simply don't know any better.
I should also mention that if a killer notices that you have a key, they will probably tunnel you so you don't open the hatch for everyone. Most survivors who use keys also use the weaved ring/milky glass combo, so they don't drop them on the ground when they die. Killers will try to eliminate those survivors early to remove the key from the game.
I don't think you're using a key every game, but you should take that into consideration when trying to avoid getting tunneled.
-
If a killer sees you as easy prey (and therefore the weakest link in the team), they might be inclined to chase you instead of dealing with survivors who are better at looping. I'm pretty sure that's why Huntress tunnels me about 80% of the games I get with her.
Go ahead and try to get better at looping, most killers won't get mad as long as you're not teabagging/flashlighting/self-healing/etc. whenever you drop a pallet. The best way to avoid getting tunneled is to be good but respectful.
If it's still a problem for you, bring DS or stealth perks like Spine Chill/Iron Will.
Also, which survivor do you main? That might also increase the odds of getting tunneled.

then remove her or why should someone who wants the best killer buy any dlc if the killers are under nurse lvl? where is the logic.
Myers isn't Nurse level, but I don't think I need to explain why someone would want to buy him.
-
I use the No-Stalk build. Sloppy, Ruin, Thanatophobia, and Nurse's Calling with both recharge speed add-ons. Never stalk, use the power for stealth only and get free hits.
-
You left out Legion and Clown but included Nurse and Billy?
-
PWYF is a must. Other than that, you only really need perks to slow the game down, namely Ruin and Corrupt Intervention.
As for the final perk, you have some options.
M&A will make stalking a little easier.
Brutal Strength can help you eat as many pallets as possible before the endgame.
Bamboozle can help you get survivors where you want them.
Fire Up is decent since you'll probably have a lot of gens done by the time you activate Tier 3.
NOED can be used for the extra speed.
Whispers can help you find that last survivor. I think I'd recommend this one.
Now go out there and pray that the last survivor doesn't sit in a locker to prevent you from getting that achievement.
Edit: Whispers can also help you find the survivors early on, since they might be immersed until Corrupt wears off.

Since I'm a trusted member, BHVR let me in on their update for Amanda, but you got to hurry up and read it because this is top secret stuff! 😱
BHVR PATCH NOTES: 3.4.0
Ambush is now on a 60 second cool-down after a successful or failed use
Reverse Bear Traps' timers are increased to 5 minutes
Amanda Young must walk up and get survivor permission from all survivors in order for her to placing RBT on survivors
Instead of RBT not activating after the last generator, which renders her end-game useless, RBT don't activate at all (I know, what's the point of the 5 minute timer?)
Rules Set NO.2 causes RBT to activate after a generator is completed, and the old version is not added to Amanda's base
I'm so excited for these changes, she's definitely S+ tier now :D
Disclaimer: Trusted members do not get additional information from BHVR, and obviously, this post is not true — it's for the laughs!Thank you so much! This new information puts my mind at ease.

Nobody here can really answer this question except a dev or some of the mods like @Peanits @MandyTalk @Rizzo90 etc.
If they're available they can shine some info on that if they're able to or not... otherwise there's no way to know this by just asking regular members.
What about the people who have access to the app? It is my understanding that people in certain countries are able to play it right now.

Distortion: Breathing isn't as big an issue, since this perk is mainly a counter to BBQ, but gaining tokens back is the buff it needs.
Aftercare: It's fine, I don't think it needs a buff personally, since if you're playing right, then you'll never get hooked and it'll work.
Breakdown: That's a nice QOL change.
It's not a QOL change, it's a direct buff.
-
I was thinking of a different "Purple Guy" when I saw the title.
-
We already have flashlights for the item, as well as pallets, DS (literally stabbing the killer), and Head On. I'd say survivors have plenty of ways to fight back against killers.

Sometimes after getting destroyed by good killers, I just want a relaxed game where I don't need to play too sweaty. I try not to be too toxic though.

@Peanits said:
Making it injure survivors would completely negate a perk like Inner Strength and greatly reduce the value of others (i.e. Head On). Other survivors would just stop using them entirely once they know the killer's using it.
Exposed has a bit of a risk, but works better with other perks. It could backfire, but you can also outlast the effects. Maybe making the timer a little longer would help, but making it straight up injure you would discourage people from using lockers entirely (at which point, your perk isn't doing anything).
Head On and Inner Strength are both very often used by Survivors. Why not allow killers to counter those perks with a perk of their own? I don't think it would kill those Survivor perks, but it would create more variety in the meta and allow Iron Maiden to be useful for killers other than Huntress.

Geez, I might not be able to remember all of them but here goes...
Spongebob, Avatar, Invader Zim, Martin Mystery, Catscratch, Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Kappa Mikey, Courage the Cowardly Dog, My Life as a Teenage Robot... and probably some more that I forgot.
Later on in my life I watched Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Gravity Falls. I still watch Steven Universe, actually. I just really like cartoons :P
-
I'd let the last survivor get hatch if the game didn't depip me for it.
