What Creature Terrifies You The Most?
Just a simple question does any creature on this planet terrify you or you just despise this thing in general. Mine would be bugs. I don't know why I just hate everything Bug related :/

I actually get extremely anxious around dogs that aren’t mine/my families.
Insects.
Any venomous snakes, even behind glass. They have a look in their eye like they would just love to kill you.

I have a weird thing about crabs
Just the face of a crab disturbs me

I don't know if it's the "fur", eyes, or legs.

Literally anything in the ocean. I can't even go in the ocean or a big lake because of thalassophobia. It's not just the water but anything that can be in it that freaks me the frick out.
That one I can empathize with quite a lot to be honest. Not just the things you can see with your eyes either the bacteria in them as well. Had a friend who went on a camp trip and went swimming in the lake and was on the edge of death because of it. Stuff can be pretty spooky.
Bugs and spiders. Especially spiders.

Yeah, I've gotten sick from just swimming in a waist high river. It's pretty gnarly to think about these days because it just really sends shivers down my spine when I think of swimming in anything other than a pool.

seriously though, Spiders, and that's really all that "terrifies" me. and it only does if its a big one, or if i saw it then it went out of sight. if its like a common house spider that lives in a web in the corner of a room, doesn't really bother me.
Well if you hate flies and other insects then technically the house spiders are paying rent in their own way :>

exactly. nothing more annoying than trying to listen for survivors, then a stupid fly buzzes by your ear. long as the spider doesnt bother me, it can stay as long as it wants.

Spiders, centipedes, most bugs really. I also have a fear of anything that could be in the water with me, and also creepy crawlies
Is it because you're terrified that they will chew your tree arms?
Also: Spiders. It annoys my wife SO MUCH that I get as jumpy as I do around spiders.

(That's Pickle on the left. She is a junkyard dog trapped in a show dog's body, and she is everybody's friend. That's Bosco on the right. He is 2/3 heart and 1/3 stomach, and he thinks he is a ferocious guard dog but is really a lovey-dovey.)
small spiders. I'm perfectly fine around large ones because I can identify them and, most importantly, keep track of them. I can never make out enough detail on the little ones to determine whether or not they're venomous and they hide so quickly when they realize that something is keeping an eye on them so I don't even have time to google them and nothing terrifies me more than something small and potentially dangerous vanishing inside my house.
Since we're on the topic of creatures of the planet, parasites piss me off deeply

Most spiders are fine, but black widows, oh man! Everything about these mini-Entities just screams “evil”! The potent venom. The cannibalistic tendencies. The shiny black latex body. The long slender spikes they use as legs. The high tensile strength of a single strand of their webbing. The freakin’ red hourglass man!

I wouldn't say they terrify me, but pretty much any insect just gives me the willies :p
I try and give every creature the love and respect they deserve but centipedes... I stay as far as possible from them.

Spiders
Mostly hornets.
Once I had a nightmare in which I got chased by a hornet (chase music not included though 😏) and when I woke up my heart was pounding out my chest.
Those insects are like the devil to me.
I also suffer from trypophobia.
Despise? Nah, mother nature's just being mother nature.
Terrify though: Pretty much any creature with deadly poisons, body infiltrators, regular predators that are of my size or greater...
This is just an opinion, but honestly, if you're not scared of any kind of animal at all, you might wanna reconsider.
Fear is not evil.
Bugs, unless I know what they are and they're not dangerous.
I don't like parasites of any kind, and probably the most freaky things to me are creatures that can lay eggs in your skin or anywhere in your body, really.
