The best Myers build of all time...
BK!
BURGER KING!
BK!
BURGER KING IS HERE!
-
Basement kills aren't that hard. I just did an infinite Tier 3 Myers basement build and I got it first try.
And if you come across a challenge you don't think you can do, you can choose a different path. There are multiple ways to reach the epilogue.
Also, I'm pretty sure all of the perk-specific quests we've seen so far are either generic perks or teachables from free characters.
-
Idk, you'll move slower than most killers for 6 seconds and get exhausted for 42 seconds, whereas with most exhaustion perks you move at 150% speed (much faster than standard killer speed) for half the time and get exhausted for 40 seconds.
4m/s*1.1*6 = 26.4m distance with this perk over 6 seconds (ignoring the fact that the killer is probably still faster than you)
4m/s*1.5*3 + 4m/s*3 = 30m distance with most exhaustion perks.
The only good thing about this perk is that it can be used whenever you want, but that doesn't matter when the effect is weak.
-
I would love this with Scratched Mirror Myers on The Game. Or any stealth killer at the Ironworks.
-
Finally, a perk for survivors who dead hard into walls.
-
As survivor I wasn't aware of scratch marks and I wondered how the Huntress kept finding me for my first ten games.
When I got tired of going against Huntress I switched to killer and it still took me a while to realize how scratch marks worked. I first noticed them in the badham school basement and thought they were just normal for that room.
I also used to think killers had different lunge ranges. I thought clown was the best because it just felt better than most to me.
I also didn't know much about Myers for a while even though I mained him. I didn't know Tier 1 was immune to detection or that Tier 3 had a longer lunge.

Adam could go as either Louis or Coach, but I see Louis being much more likely, and Ace could get a white suit and such and be Nick, and again, this all comes down to Valve's decisions. It took about 2 years for Bill to come to console.
I would love a Nick skin for Ace.
-
I do good against Nurses, but if I see a Huntress I immediately die inside.

Not to say PGTW is terrible I'll admit is good and better on some killers then others (I personally prefer Ruin but I understand why some think is good), my issue along with OC which is why I lump them in together is that any survivor can easily negate the effect by just gen tapping, is why I suggested that it should only stop after you start working on a gen for 5 seconds rather then just poking it.
Gen tapping doesn't negate the 25% though, and that instant regression is why Pop is so strong. Miles better than Overcharge.
-
As someone who plays both sides, I know how DCs ruin the game for everyone. Even against the most toxic huntress, I wouldn't give up.
Also I want my points.
-
Me like bloodpoints and pretty colors. Make feel good.
-
You had 10 slots and you chose to include Plague in a "best cosmetics" poll?
-
I don't like running the same two perks every game either, but BBQ is fine where it is. I just want more BP perks (but they don't stack above 100%) so we can have a choice (basically make it like Exhaustion perks, where you can run one but running multiple isn't as effective).
For Ruin to be fixed, gens need to be reworked in some way or a secondary objective needs to be added. Otherwise, most killers will get stomped on every game.
-
I don't think plague needs such a hard nerf.

My logic is why do you want to hear the heartbeat in the struggle state when you still won’t against the majority of killers? Just to know if Trapper, Legion, Clown and Leatherface are camping you? Because you wouldn’t notice with anyone else.
You forgot Doctor, Huntress, Billy, Freddy, Spirit, Plague, and Demogorgon. You know, the majority of killers.

And what about Pig, Myers, Wraith, Nurse, Spirit, Hag...? In all these scenarios you would still think you’ll be safely unhook because you’d hear no heartbeat.
Your logic is strange to me. We shouldn't hear the heartbeat just because there are some killers that are designed to be stealthy? By that logic we shouldn't have a heartbeat at all because not every killer has one.

Why should you know? To tell your SWF about it? Use Kindred.
I mostly play Solo survivor, so no. I just think it's dumb that the music prevents me from hearing the terror radius. I don't see the reason for it. It's pretty annoying when I think I'm gonna be safely unhooked and I suddenly start hearing a rapid heartbeat.

Yes it would. Except it doesn’t stack with itself so if everyone decided to run it, it wouldn’t work
Seems like an interesting perk idea, but maybe it should be an event-exclusive perk (like the event offerings). Would also be nice if the survivors with the perk left some confetti trails scattered around their scratch marks so it has some effect if multiple people use it :P
And perhaps they could start off with 1 stack for bringing the perk, too.
-
Would it stack with BBQ and WGLF?
-
Didn't include Solo Queue.

I regret buying Cannibal. He just seems so bad. I never end up using him and feel like it was a waste of my 5$
He's certainly not the best killer, but I've had fun with him even before I got Play With Your Food on him. Of course, after that I started having a lot more fun :P
I don't regret any of my purchases. The only killer I hate playing is Huntress and she's free.
-
I haven't put in the time to get to higher ranks as killer, so Ruin is still pretty reliable. Pop is nice too, though.
Also, you forgot Corrupt Intervention for those Trapper mains.
-
Survivors needed more nerfing than killers did, simple as that.
If you're dying to camping, I'm guessing you're pretty low rank. Try bringing Kindred. It counters camping and is also helpful for making sure the team doesn't take too long to rescue you.
-
You could also just try hitting skillchecks until you're good at it, or memorize totem locations.

Im not specialist in french, but from what i know la is the femine part, they could have used le as the masculine part, and in the french you use masculine part in some way to show it is neutral, not the femine.
When it comes to link... im lazy, why wont you find a link where they refer to the entity as it?
Also, its not the place to discuss it, i belive there were topics about it.
Nouns are generally either masculine or feminine. I believe "Entity" is a feminine noun so I don't think using "le" instead of "la" would be acceptable.
-
I usually act pretty chill and nice towards them. There might be another reason for their anger, like maybe they just had a really bad day. In my experience, positivity always beats negativity.
-
Buffs for weak killers.
-
None of these other ones come with music :P
-
Sloppy or whispers.

Nope, the french original name is La Entite and the developers are reffering to it with the femine nouns in english as well.
Pretty sure "Entity" is just a feminine noun in the language. Would you refer to a chair as "she"? Is there even a gender neutral way to say "the Entity" in French?
Also, can I get a link to where they refer to the Entity as "she"?
-
Ah yes, remove information gathering from low-tier killer whose information gathering is all he has. Just get Madness 1 out of the way while he's chasing someone else and you won't have to worry about it.
-
I feel like they'd need to rework the entire game to remove looping.

I suck badly as ghostface. Always getting revealed. At this point i just use him as a m1 killer that can hide his TR. When I actually focus on unlocking his teachables I'll either hate my life or 'get gud' but it'll probably be the first...
Well at least you're learning the best way to play him. Stalking wastes time. Run Thanatophobia, Nurse's Calling, Ruin, and Sloppy Butcher and just M1 people with no TR. You'll get lots of free hits and people will often run into obstacles while trying to reveal you (which doesn't even hurt you with this playstyle). The perks slow the game down a lot and Nurse's gets you free downs.
-
I follow my own code, which is plenty fair for the survivors. If they're too entitled to be satisfied with it, then I don't care. Some people will complain about anything.
-
I generally don't purchase cosmetics with real money or premium currency.
I will buy 1000 cells for rift passes though, since I can get them back.

Yay for no more complete 100% free invisibility from absolutely everything for tier 1 Myers! This loophole is, almost without equal, the most aggravating thing to face.
I understand why the stealth characters need shielding from aura perks (which is exactly the trade-off you're getting with Undetectable). But Spine Chill and Premonition are not aura perks.
It's not a trade-off, he was already immune to aura perks.

That is a fair point but since there is only a 0.5% chance of unhooking more likely they were rescued.
That's some weird logic. It almost never happens, so when it might have happened it probably didn't?
-
I've unhooked myself a decent amount of times. Also, Survivors could have been unhooking themselves and you might have just been assuming that someone else saved them.
-
"Evil Beings" is a bit too similar to "Natural Born Killers" imo.
-
I like the challenges that involve perks that are rarely used. Keeps the game interesting and helps you discover perks and combos that you normally wouldn't have tried.
-
No Mither
Resilience - Faster repair speed and vault speed
Spine chill - Faster repair speed and vault speed, knowledge of the killer's whereabouts.
Dead Hard - Extend chases, helps compensate for being downed in one hit.
You could replace Dead Hard with Iron Will for a stealthier playstyle.
Resilience and Spine Chill allow you to have max vault speed, which will save you from more hits than you'd expect. It also allows you to run infinites on certain tiles, especially if the killer keeps going for hits that they would normally be able to land.
-
Interesting idea for a perk.
My only concern about this is that as soon as we get a middle eastern survivor we're probably gonna have a bunch of people running this perk on that survivor.
Or if we get a Japanese survivor.
Heck, people would probably run this on Feng Min.

Oh, I see what you mean. Like a special "class quest chain" for that character.
Yeah, so you have the option to do quests to unlock lore and even cosmetics for a certain character that you like but you don't have to do it for every character.
-
@Rydog said:
Perk-specific, sure. But not survivor-specific. I throw away a lot of survivor dailies as it is, because why would I play any survivor besides my main, who has all my perks? Why would anyone do this (outside of purely cosmetic reasons)?
Killers are a different story, because they are unique. But there is literally no reason the game should ever force me to pick a certain survivor.
You wouldn't have to do them. They would be optional "Special Tomes" that you would be able to do anytime as long as you have unlocked the character.
Also, the Tome in the PTB made you play Claudette for at least one of the missions.
-
@Slaymore said:
Oh yes, why not auto kill everyone at end game to make it easier for you... it's not like keys appear on bloodweb as often as your pink/purple crap. It's our only chance in end game as killers always find the hatch first since they can see it too early.
It's not like you can run Plunderer's and find a key almost every game while killers can't search chests for rare addons.
Survivors can see the hatch just as early as killers do and they even have a perk to help them find it.
The hatch closing and the survivor opening it with a key is NOT the problem.
One survivor dying with 1 gen left and the other 3 survivors escape for free because they have a key? THAT is the problem.
-
Killers don't like it either, but they have to do it for the 4k due to the way the game is designed.
Why do we try for the 4k? Because the ranking system will rarely reward you for a 3k even though the game's supposedly balanced toward a 2k (which depips the killer more often than not).
-
I don't think they'll change it, since it's still possible. Legion's achievement got changed because it was so unintuitive and harder to activate than Mettle of Man.
Still, it is a pretty difficult achievement. I got it by farming with survivors tbh, I'm pretty bad at nurse :P

Nancy: W A L C C
Survivors: Ah yes I get it now.

No that's bc i feel you should start with at least 1 or 2 so you can still use the perk if no one gets hooked.
I don't mean the starting tokens, I'm just saying that "start with 2 tokens up to 2/3/4 tokens" doesn't make sense, and the "max of 4 tokens" in the later part of the description should be replaced with 2/3/4 instead.
