I don't think you know what a poll is.
-
Come to think of it, it would be nice for Up the Ante to be changed have an effect similar to this. You'd be making a gamble by not having perks for a bit but then you'll get a reward if you last long enough.
-
Definitely needs a bit more range on his shock. Also, he should be the same speed in treatment. He already slows down when charging his shock, so I don't see why he needs to be passively slower as well.

nah he is weak af, he literally has no power till he 1 M1 + farm that survivor for blood OR you get 2 M1's. then if you down someone with your power and pick them up you lose your power and start over. yes DURING his power he is a better billy. but without his power he literally is useless and the survivors control when you have your power. he will be a good slugging killer but other than that I don't see him being better than billy at all
His slugging ability is what makes him good. He has amazing snowball potential, and you'll have plenty of blood once you start downing people, especially if you use perks like sloppy to keep them injured. I wouldn't say he's better than Billy, but he's pretty close.
-
15% speed boost would mean you could outrun some killers so they won't be able to get within 20 meters of you. I think it should be a 7% boost (not stackable) while having gone at least 10 seconds without being in a chase.
Removing grabs and changing fast vault mechanics would probably be too strong.
Also, all of these effects would need to be well-balanced with each other so the Survivor doesn't just DC when they get a less desirable effect.
Random effects would be a nice gimmick and I would honestly use it, but the cooldown is a bit much, especially since the perk deactivates itself as well. Maybe 140/130/120 would be more reasonable, and maybe just have the perk be active immediately and only disable other perks during the cooldown, or the Survivor might just be super immersed for the beginning of the game. Also, would you be able to charge perks like Autodidact or Mettle of Man while they are disabled?
Perks that I would use/try with this:
- Adrenaline (obviously)
- Maybe other endgame perks like Hope or No One Left Behind
- Lucky Break (would probably still suck but might throw the killer off if it activates at the beginning of the match)
- No Mither (sudden broken effect lol, also ez plague counter)
- DS (for late game plays)
- Deliverance (because I hate myself)
- Object of Obsession (suddenly get to see the killer when they don't expect it)
- Sole Survivor/Distortion (Distortion might last until late game with this, also Sole Survivor is a late game perk anyway. Sole Survivor + Object activating after Survivors start dying would be godlike)
- Autodidact/MoM if chargeable while disabled
- Sprint Burst, would be nice to be able to run around in the early game without getting exhausted
-
Ash has a prosthetic hand which I think gives an advantage since he can't feel pain through it and it's effectively a weapon. I don't know enough about him to determine how good he is in a fight, but I'd imagine he can hold his own against humans.
I'd like to see a fight where Ace just lucks his way to victory.
David can take a beating and when he gets knocked down he can just get back up when his enemy least expects it.
Bill can do the same, but only once. Also, he's old.
Yui seems to have a natural aptitude for combat, as she bested a guy who was wielding a knife in what appears to have been her first physical fight.
So I'd say Ash, David, and Yui would be the best fighters but Ace will probably win anyway.
-
Not sure if Huntress even knows how to speak and I'm not an outdoorsy person.
With the more "normal" killers excluded, that really only leaves me with Nurse or Spirit, and I don't want to get murdered by Wraith.
So, Spirit it is.

The thing about killing the key-holder is that it doesn't remove the key from the game. Another survivor can go back and pick it up. Which has happened to me more than once.
And I don't think dodging the lobby is a great solution, for reasons that should be obvious.
If the Survivor has weaved ring, which they usually do, they won't drop the key on death.
But still, Keys and Moris need to be changed.
-
The STBFL change was what really gutted him imo. He could have been decent if they didn't do that.
-
Myers because I like being spooky.
-
Best killer in the game 🤡
In all seriousness though, Pop is really nice to have.

Here's who I think:
- Trapper - Needs setup time for traps, and he'll still lose a few gens even with Ruin up.
- Wraith - Easily loop-able. Other than initial surprise attacks, good survivors won't be getting hit.
- Doctor - Doesn't have much map pressure, and is very add-on dependent for any pressure at all.
- Cannibal - Because it's Leatherface. Of course.
- Pig - Her traps can slow down the game for a bit, but after she uses them all it's mega gen-rush.
- Clown - Not much map pressure.
- Legion - Though it's debatable if Corrupt Intervention would be just as useful.
- Ghost Face - Has no map pressure. I main Ghost Face in purple ranks and he struggles there without Ruin. He's pretty add-on dependent, and isn't fast at all. His stalking takes too long compared to how quickly survivors can reveal you. Ruin is practically essential, especially in survivors sided maps (i.e. Haddonfield, The Temple, Coldwind, etc.).
Have you tried the no-stalk strategy with Ghostface? I've gotten much better results that way. Still needs ruin or corrupt intervention though.
-
Predator is pretty much useless, and bloodhound is okay but sloppy is better. Shadowborn can at least be useful on certain killers.
-
I would say pig, spirit, or nurse. Lore-wise, nurse still has some mercy left in her and spirit just wanted revenge on her father.
If they acted the way players use them, then definitely pig. I'd just boop the snoot and hope I'll be spared.

Removing FOV entirely would make Killer take actual skill Kappa
Just listen to sounds. Spirits do it all the time and they're top tier. Vision clearly isn't necessary.
-
Doctor and Hag are probably used to the constant pain, but Nurse still screams when blinking and needs a moment to recover. Harder to get used to intense, short bursts of pain than constant pain I think.

I see no reason why. Stalking falls under the "Killer can just move their mouse" argument, in my eyes.
Nice vote, btw.
Vision is overrated.

I will just dc against those two killers anyways :) I dont care about the ranking system. And when one day we in that game together by any chance. You will cry at the end and flame the killer when she pukes on your face like the trash scum ...... Are. Hahahaha

Ah yes, my least favorite type of player. Thank you for ruining the game for everyone who matches up with you because you want an easy game.

His M2 slows people so I disagree. It makes many loops completely unsafe and is super mindless when combined with bloodlust. It's one of the stronger chase powers in the game, in my opinion. Then stack on everything else he has.
Plague gives Survivors Broken with her M2, does that mean she's not an M1 killer?
Is Clown not an M1 killer either? His power slows survivors down.

I would argue it is, because not being in chase is always better than being in chase. Hiding at a generator is wasting just as much time as looping the killer, and is saving pallets. You are saying the optimal strategy is to loop until you go down, I am saying it's to not go down in the first place.
And M1 killers being easy to loop doesn't change how plague is the strongest M1 killer by a large margin.
Freddy is an M1 killer.
-
I don't think there was ever a point where nothing was brushed aside. They kept Freddy awful for a long time, and they've been nerfing pig since the EGC patch. I remember watching that stream and waiting for them to say something about pig, only for them to pretty much dodge the question when it was asked.
The fact is, they can't fix everything in one patch. They prioritize a few things and leave others alone. Perhaps they'll change mending and BT in the next patch. For now, we get buffs to non meta perks and... return of old legion. welp, hopefully they fix that one soon.

Nothing to help her end a chase faster....except the whole part about her 1 shotting them and being almost unjukeable because she can always hear you? You can't even locker juke because the lockers turn green.
If you are having that much trouble getting a single M1 off on survivors, I recommend running more chase perks. I always run bamboozle on my M1 killers and have no issues with looping at all, even at red ranks.
If you are a good killer, you can stack a ton of slowdown perks on her instead and just run around 1 shotting people and regressing gens with pop for days. How people can think that is weak is beyond me.
Juking isn't an optimal strategy anyway. Sure, she's harder to juke, but still easy to loop.

Perma tier 3 myers with 4x thanta stack every game for free = bad killer. I think nobody plays her because her gameplay is so boring, not because she isn't super strong.
I'm tired of people comparing plague to T3 Myers. Myers has a faster vault speed and better lunge in Tier 3. Plague has nothing to help her end a chase faster if Survivors don't cleanse.
-
I actually did this once, but it was because I was getting chased by the Killer for most of the game and the Aftercare user was a Claudette who was searching chests and hanging out in the basement while I was getting chased.
I'm not accusing OP of doing this, but you definitely shouldn't run aftercare if you're gonna be a useless teammate.

Statistically Nurse is now one of the weakest red rank killers in the game.
Both her use rate and kill rate are among the lowest.
This forum also exploded when the rework was announced and Nurse mains almost as a whole came out against these changes.
nurse mains hate the rework and the stats say she’s weak, what more do you need.
Those statistics are because of console players. She's the worst killer on console, and few people want to use her on console.

“Kindred trumps ANY of the killers stealth abilities”
this was also confirmed by devs a few weeks back.
Really? I remember the devs saying the opposite, that Kindred was not made with aura immunity in mind (since that wasn't in the game) and "stealth abilities" meant Wraith's cloak and the version of Insidious that we have currently.
Edit: Also, they removed that from the description in the next patch when they buffed Kindred.

I think premonition and the strode perk will work, I don't see why not. I was thinking of making a trolling strode where killer sees u and u see killer. I like escaping chases.
Object of Obsession is an aura-reading perk, which will not work when Insidious gets Undetectable next patch.
Spine Chill and Premonition will still work though.

you cant fast vault while crouched so what do you mean.
You would vault the pallet while holding both the sprint and crouch keys. This is so you aren't forced to use Take Cover when you want to vault the pallet normally.

Here's the 152 IQ version:
You cannot leave through the Exit Gates and stay behind as the other Survivors leave. Then you can Mori the Killer with a book.
-
The killer perks seem like killer powers rather than perks (The shadow one is actually similar to a killer power idea I'm currently working on).
Understanding is too killer-dependent, suffering from a similar problem that Tinkerer had before it was changed, except you don't control which killer is in the match.
The camera is a little too similar to the map, which can get the same job done. Or flashlights if you're going against the Hag.
Endurance is a very strong effect, which is why Mettle of Man is so hard to activate. With Pain of Loss, you could just run up to a survivor being taken to death hook and you'll get an extra health state for free.

They don't stand still for too long. The Hallucinations start at a far distance and slowly get closer, and they have to avoid being close to them.
Also, avoid going by lockers because of his proxy traps.
So the survivors have complete control of whether they get hit and there's nothing the killer can do about it except rely on random hallucinations that may or may not appear at a good spot?
-
@Raven014 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/858565#Comment_858565
He has to teleport to hallucinations to attack survivors (similar to a Hag teleport) with less than 4 pages (they also spawn less frequently when survivors have less pages). However, they suffer a major slowdown on all action speeds if they don't collect pages.
So how do survivors avoid attacks?
-
Reading the title I thought you meant the cooldown instead of an actual QoL change. But this would definitely be a nice feature.
-
@Raven014 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/856771#Comment_856771
It's balanced by the fact that he can't attack in a traditional way until other survivors gain enough pages... but are punished for not collecting them.
Does he slow down when he's able to attack?
-
Stomped a 3k
If he did so well, how come he's not allowed a 4k?
I don't like the idea of the second to last survivor getting slugged, but don't blame the killer for bad game design.
-

At this point I'd rather have a Freddy-scale rework of Legion's ability. It seems impossible to make their current power good without making them super annoying.
I can understand your Spirit suggestion, but in no way I can think of does giving her a tell to her power increase mindgame potential. I don't mind your suggestion, as I myself don't know the perfect way to change her, but I cannot agree with that logic.
So how would it increase mindgame potential? I think a statement like that requires elaboration.

Theoretically, the hatch could open 5 times.
Survivor 1 uses key, you close it, Survivor 2 uses key, you close it, Survivor 3 uses key, you close it, it opens again due to there being 1 Survivor, you close it, then Survivor 4 uses key.
What to do with this information? No idea.
