3.4.0 changes are seriously ill-planned and not satisfactory
Soooo, yeah, Devs, you really missed the mark with these changes. First of all, Spirit, i'm all on board for making her have zero collision in phase and the introduction of her now having a vault animation; but why the hell is there still no proper 100% tell tale that she is using her phase ability? (I know on basic cosmetics she has glowing shards in her arms and legs, but...) She is the only killer in the game that gives no indication of her ability being activated. Every single killer does, she doesn't. You need to implement a new mechanic into her gameplay that visibly and without any doubt, shows the survivor she has activated her ability. Either make the shards bright as hell, or just simply make the husk have zero motion to it. That way a survivor knows to expect a phase play from her. This will not hurt the Spirit, but it will give her more actual mindgame potential AND also make her fair to vs. Since a survivor will now have to outplay, predict the possible plays the Spirit may do in that particular situation. Please please please make this change happen. This is the key thing about Spirit that ruins everyones fun vs her.
Now, Legion, the new perk, Nemesis, breaks this killer once again. Not only is he back to his old bs self using that with a certain build, but now his add-ons to boost efficiency are worse. Yeah he now has collision in cooldown which is cool, and his vault speed is faster again, great. But, he still gets punished for using his basic attack outside of Frenzy. Why does his power bar suffer when he hits a survivor? It makes zero sense, you don't do this to Spirit, Ghostface or Freddy, don't do it to Legion. It hurts him unnecessarily.
You guys have to come up with a new way of dealing with mend timers criteria if you insist on keeping Oblivious in the game. Otherwise certain killers with certain builds, and vs certain perks will be broken and unfair to play against.
I hope none of these issues raised in this thread make it into the live game, it will cripple the health and life of dbd. New content means nothing if the overall product is hurt by niggling bs things that will be used amd abused by a lot of players

"ither make the shards bright as hell, or just simply make the husk have zero motion to it. That way a survivor knows to expect a phase play from her. This will not hurt the Spirit, but it will give her more actual mindgame potential"
Please tell me how "making it obvious she is using her power" give her more mindgame? It actually gives her less mindgame (same with vault animation add)
The changes are fine. Dead By Daylight is not your personal running simulator. I guarantee you the devs know about the legion issues and are doing something to fix it. Stop acting like the world around you is falling apart.
At this point I'd rather have a Freddy-scale rework of Legion's ability. It seems impossible to make their current power good without making them super annoying.
I can understand your Spirit suggestion, but in no way I can think of does giving her a tell to her power increase mindgame potential. I don't mind your suggestion, as I myself don't know the perfect way to change her, but I cannot agree with that logic.
So how would it increase mindgame potential? I think a statement like that requires elaboration.
Simple really, there is currently a mechanic with Spirit that when she phases shards of glass in her arm and legs glow slighty when phase is fully activated. This is only clear and obvious for her basic cosmetics that don't cover her body/rearrange her shard placements.
At the moment it is impossible for a survivor in close proximity of her to know if she is using her ability, thus making it 100% guess work what she is doing. Thus making what a survivor does a complete stab in the dark gamble about their next move being wise or stupid.
Making it clear to the survivor that she has begun phasing allows an actual war of minds to happen between the survivor and killer. Does the survivor sprint a little, walk back and drop the pallet to try and bait her to thinking they moved sides? Has the spirit simply phased but stood in the same spot to bait the survivor to her side? Does the survivor walk away and hope the Spirit doesn't pop out right next to them? Do they fast vault the window and slow climb back again? Does the Spirit enter phase and pop out instantly to get a bigger lunge at the survivor? All of these now become actual plays that the survivor and killer are mutually thinking of at the same time because now the survivor knows what she is doing. It allows the killer to get further into the survivors head while the survivor is fairly allowed to get into her head. As opposed to now the survivor is at a complete loss and guessing everything without any intel to go by while the Spirit dominates the control of the situation with all the intel.
This game is all about balance, and like I said before, every killer has a clear tell tale they are using their power, thus giving survivors intel to work with when they try to loop/juke and counter them. Spirit does not have clear intel that she is using hers and making it so she does will be a healthy step towards making the game more fun, fairer and more balanced
