Don't let the BM keep you from playing Nurse. That is what they want. Don't let the dirtbags win.
-
It's a good strategy, but not always implemented at the correct time. When someone is being chased and no one is hooked isn't the correct time. That's when you need to open the damn door and start bodyblocking.
-
Yeah, I had a Survivor wait until the last like 10 seconds to try to open a gate. I was super confused as to why they waited that long. They said their timer was only like 75%.
-
Freddy can at least still try to make something happen with his snares in a chase. He isn't as screwed over by OoO as Ghostface is. He also messes with BT way more effectively. It's a worthwhile trade.
-
Couldn't have been any worse than the poor Survivor I just had on Haddonfield. I gave him a nice party hat, never saw him again afterward and he died. 😔

Because if they don’t use good addons and perks the survivors are gonna finish in 4 minutes, teabag, then leave the killer with few points
Basically this. Killers get no blood points unless they are interacting with the Survivors, while Survivors don't need the killer to earn(albeit less) blood points.

No, it shows the locker they popped out of. They don't reveal their aura location at all. I kept double-checking these people getting out of locker explosions — I see nothing.
Where does it say their aura is revealed? You get the scream notification similar to Doctor when they leave the locker.
-
I hope Bhvr has the sense not to give her any camo cosmetics. I'm pretty sure she is competing for one of the smallest character models.
-
This change is a "punishment," a "nerfed into the ground", and "double standards" towards SWF?
My one SWF friend(who probably doesn't even have 50 hours yet) and I are thrilled with this change. He gets more experienced Killers to improve upon and we both get less rank 20 baby Dwight's hiding in lockers.
This is a fantastic and long awaited change. The entitlement sure is strong for people who, "just want to play with their friends."

You mean I unlocked infectious fright and it changed cause it was put on wrong soo sad:( I wasted shards on it :( ah well what did it get replaced with?
Just the cost got changed.

@Boss said:
Infectious Fright is no longer the latest DLC and it has been on the SoS before.
That removes the slightly higher cost.
The tweet was wrong.
It was in-game too. I remember checking it on Tuesday. I just didn't have a picture from the past, of course.

Catching up on the Overwatch forums, there's a post by the game's director, Jeff Kaplan explaining a little more about matchmaking. The part which stood out toOmegalul

I don't see why it needs to be below 50%. Just remove that and it would be decent, as survivors wouldn't be able to do generators at all while recovering from Exhaustion.
Basically my thoughts as well, I'd like the timer to go up to 5 seconds so a single pallet doesn't negate it too, but the 50% thing can go first.
I've always thought it was a good idea to force the choice of recovering exhaustion or doing gens was a good idea. Granted Adrenaline would still trump the world, but you can't have everything.
-
As stated, Freddy can also basically hard counter BT now, which is way more prevalent and obnoxious, at least in high ranks.
Definitely worth the trade.

Not only is the ''Iron Will" and ''Spine Chill" chants flawed and again relies on a perk to counter a problem that is a base problem.
''If she just stands still run away."
Okay, so she stood still. I run away. She just uses her power to catch up again and likely gets the free hit or down.
She's the most mindless thing in the game to play and that's why she's so fun to play.
It's like why certain perks are fun to play on both sides. It's all utterly mindless and you don't have to think. You just have your perk and you go. You're good.
"Not only is the ''Iron Will" and ''Spine Chill" chants flawed and again relies on a perk to counter a problem that is a base problem."
You don't say? Huh. How come it's suddenly flawed now that it's a Survivor problem when Killer have had to listen to that "Use band-aid perk #X" chant for years now?
-
The devs are already aware of the issue. Harsher DC punishments will come with dedicated servers.
-
You don't, because eating a pallet is a shorter stun than cancelling your sorry excuse for a power.

Actually I could tell all 4 perks they were using. It's cute how desperately you feel you need to defend a stranger simply because they were playing killer, though. 😂
Funny, your first story doesn't line up with that claim.
-
Couldn't possibly be that a perk that just got reworked, which everyone wants to try out, can randomly crash their game...
-
It works pretty well with BBQ if you already have a portal set up near the Survivors.
-
Second Wind has been causing more problems for me honestly. It encourages the already powerful gen rush.
-
Probably not for a couple of weeks. If nothing else, we'll probably be waiting for the console versions to get validated.
-
But then experienced killers would be put up against new Survivors!
Please ignore SWF pitting experienced Survivors against new killers btw. Thx.

it allowed u to bot at any structure with a window instead of learning how to run it. it did more than enough.
So Survivors might have to adapt to a changing situation instead of mindlessly running the most optimal routes? The horror!
-
Good. Maybe it'll actually do what it's name suggests, instead of being a joke like the killer it belongs too.

They had a year and a half to fix this ######### bro
You didn't answer why you wanted to add more problems. This is EXACTLY why things get pushed back. To fix issues.

Game breaking? No. Tell me how would Servers which is it's own separate entity have any direct effects on the Game itself. It might have lag and what not but sudden bugs like the ones the devs supposedly fix like healing bug, dead hard bug, pallet bug, etc. Come on now do you want a game that is good or bad?
Why do you want a game to be worse? There is no guarantee that forcing unfinished servers will fix those problems.
Also the devs listed several problems they were having in the link above.

Buddy there's tons of bugs and errors still in this game and people still play it. Dealing with ######### servers until they can balance it isn't bad idea considering other games done it.
On what planet is knowingly introducing game breaking bugs because other, MUCH larger, companies have done it in the past a good business decision?

Whenever I hear no counterplay, I think back to old legion-----> you went down no matter what and legion got a hit prettymuch for free so that's definition "no counterplay" --------> spirit is not close to what that was, she may require more thought when in a chase against her but theres plenty of chances of outplaying her..
But that is the trigger phrase now isn't it? The devs have shown they will nerf things called "unfun" and "no counterplay" enough times.

It was on this site dude. They said literally dedicated should be released with the stranger things chapter
I don't recall. Care to provide the thread that was mentioned in? I just remember a lot of people asking for a date as summer wore on. @Peanits @not_Queen was there an official statement that the ST chapter would have the dedicated servers included?

I'm not sure if you noticed but a ton of workers from the for Honor team has quit plenty of them
2800 of them? The point still stands that obisoft is ######### massive compared to Bhvr.

You mean the same dev team that's stationed in Canada That's has only roughly 700 people on their team.
Where are you getting 700? Because the Ubisoft Montreal website says over 3500.

It is false promises they said specifically it should be released in the summer 2019 which means they had plans to release the servers in that time which they didn't. Then they said it should be released with the new stranger things chapter which was really the driving factor in the hype of the release. Kaput it didn't happen again.
Where did they say they should be released with the ST chapter? We only tested them again on the PTB.

No he's just pointing out false promises, cause those arent their priority.
So, again, you wanted an unfinished product?
@StupidButTru said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/688554#Comment_688554
Yes I welcome it because dedicated Servers on both PC and Consoles are two separate issues. Look at for Honor for example. They dropped dedicated Servers for consoles yes there were issues but it took only a week for them to tweak it and dedicated Servers were working perfectly fine. Why can't dbd do the same
Probably because Ubisoft's net worth is over three and a half billion dollars and have almost 16,000 employees to Bhvr's 500.
Edit: Or if only Ubisoft Montreal is working on For Honor, that's still over 3,500 employees.
-
So you wanted the buggy mess that the dedicated servers on the PTB were to be live now?
-
Or you could run it yourself if you are worried about being camped.
-
@Atrushan88 said:
Killers might have brought gen rush on themselves. Survivors probably got tired of being screwed by moris/campers who defended their "playstyle" as "having fun" and it being "just a game" so they decided to make those same people feel their own pain.
How can gen rush be an answer to camping if three gens pop before the first hook?

Yeah and it's nothing wrong with hatchets which go through walls, trees rocks and still hit survivors. There is nothing wrong with hatchets clearly missing yet somehow in a magical way dealing damage. Nah, all is fine here. Typical biased "killer main" logic here.

That is how sadlu hit detection works in DBD. It won't be changes and hitboxes will not be changes either. We all remember what happened when Huntress hatchets were cropped so the hitbox corresponds with the actual hatchet. Killers cried so hard the change got reverted ASAP.
Because clearly, there was nothing wrong with Hatchets phasing through the Survivor models, especially during vaults.
Nothing. Wrong. At. All.

Slugs and hooked Survivors can not reveal him.

Disagree about Plunderer's, the number of keys I find in chests is significantly higher with PI.
Ace in the Hole is really sweet though. I like to run it with Pharmacy too. It improves an already sweet medkit you find.

I've never claimed to have played perfectly and make mistakes, sure. However, it would be nice if the game punished mistakes a little more equally for both sides. A Killer's mistake can often cost him the game, a Survivor's mistake is often just an inconvenience.

Umbra jokes about it all the time, but Im pretty sure shes just THAT good.
I'm not saying she isn't good, she definitely has all the timings, tile layouts, and what she can throw over down to a T. However, watching her make minute corrections to thread between three different openings at long range is a bit suspect.
