We will know when they are implemented with the new chapter release.
-
You don't like having two Smurfs on your team?
-
"Little" nerf.

I don't know how people are saying "A three gen is your fault" when the killer can decide at any moment in the match they are going to three gen these three generators. Sure it does happen on accident to bad survivors as well but usually the killer doesn't have a build built around a three gen strat.
If you can't use full hook lives and four Survivors to break up the most obvious tactic possible, I'm sorry for you.

The pop and the white shimmer is his power deactivating when he grabs you. Be more attentive and spot him before he grabs you. He doesn't vanish into thin air, just turns off his TR and stain.
-
If the PTB starts this Tuesday and runs for two weeks, probably in about four weeks.

So me making a post regarding an idea that would benefit everyone is me being salty?
Im sorry but that statement alone has to be bait.
Except that the point of the change is to make the game more accessible since there are so many perks now. Not to make the optional extra grind better for no reason.
-
Jeez, the number of webs needed to find to most important things in the game basically halved and people still find ######### to complain about. I have a friend who only has 30 hours in the game and he is dieing for this update.
Sounds like the only disappointed people are salty vets who want to race to P3 faster for some reason. Maybe enjoy having twice the perk options available to you as you grind the BPS on the characters you are trying to prestige?
Yes, they could have done better for newer players, like making two perks appear earlier than lvl 25, but this is a great and needed change.
-
Alert will still work just fine against the majority of the top tier killers. Throw the poor low tier stealth killers a bone, for ######### sake.

Well if the hatch isn't closed and no door open, just never know? there wouldn't be the 2 minutes, but it's like been slugged, and having to wait that two minutes until you die lol.
Speaking of slugging, would you rather that happened?
Because if your idea gets implemented, the killer will just stay at the hook in case of Deliverance. Then, if you Deliverance yourself, you can bet your ass that you are just going to stay there on the ground because of DS.
-
Because there is no point in making the killer wait 2 minutes unless you want to be toxic.
-
Thrilling Tremors doesn't even do "Bad BBQ" correctly. Get rid of the MASSIVE cooldown and maybe we have something.

No, you look at the pictures and realize the blade is not touching me, I now killers have arms, and they can use them through windows, but at leat make me get hit if the blade actually touched me.
So you are upset that the Pig's cosmetic, 6 inch long weapon didn't physically touch you? By that logic, the hillbilly must need a really long hitbox. He is swinging 3 foot long hammer.

Why shouldn't killers and survivors both have a perk to reduce the grind. I don't see why killers get an easy 4 stacks but survivors have to have a hard time to get the 4 stacks. There's no reason for them to not be equal.
How is it so hard to get WGLF stacks if it's as easy to get BBQ stacks as you claim? If it's so easy to get BBQ stacks, that means the killer is getting hooks and carrying Survivors.
Maybe stop AFKing gens and play a little more altruistic.
-
Steam recommended DBD because I used to play the hell out of Evolve Stage Two. I got it shortly after the Myers DLC was released.
RIP Evolve
-
They don't have the same reasoning as Freddy though. The Demogorgon can exist and is still quite lethal in the real world as well as the upside-down.
-
Furtive Chase only works in a chase(where M&A increases your TR) and you lose all your stacks when your Obsession gives up on the hook.
-
I will 100% switch my main to Sheriff Hopper if we get him.
-
Do you want more hard camping Billies and Leatherface? Because that is how you get more hard camping Billies and Leatherface.
-
Good, because as @DudeDelicious said, that is the ######### point of the way the maps are generated.
Survivors are too used to running through planned routes of safe spots to occupy the killer while their buddies gen rush. Honestly, more maps need to be shaken up.
-
You can do just as much about your emblems as the killer can when 3 gens are popped before the first hook.
-
Also, it looks like, "just play Billy" is your solution to issues caused by Survivors, since he is the only one who can perform your answers.
-
Outside coordination of SWF?
-
Pretty much all the add-ons are good. Each one does what it says and use can use whatever your build calls for. Father's Glasses is probably the most mediocre, but that's more because a veteran Spirit won't need them.
Generally faster movement speed is considered the most beneficial.
Reappearance Duration effect extends the short time the Spirit keeps her extra speed after coming out of phasing, you can get some crazy far lunges with those add-ons.
Increased passive phasing isn't something you can control, but it can confuse the hell out of Survivors when you are using standard mind games without your power at loops.
-
Have Bloodwarden be saved until a gate opens if you get a hook after the gens are done(just like how Adrenawin is saved while you are hooked).
Boom. Perk does what it is supposed to and punishes the nonsense that is 99% gates.
-
"Legion is in a good spot[for Survivors] now. There are no plans to look into them at this time."
-
Because salt is delicious.
-
One rewards gen rush, one punishes gen rush.
Not hard to see which one Survivor mains think is fine.
-
And how would the game know if you didn't just cut power yourself? This actually was a thing for a while.
About to die and lose your OP Flashlight? Cut the wifi and save it. EZ
-
Why is it entitled for Killers to want a LITTLE effort from Survivors to completely remove one of their perks?
Sounds like this Trapper sacrificed a lot of extra resources for a totem that can even be ignored.
-
Devs have stated that random Survivors get the Obsession instead the one who actually has the Obsession perk so that Killers can't play around DS.
Because #CoUnTeRpLaY is a Survivor privilege.

You only dictate the chase against low tier killers.
Which Killers take over your control of your mouse and keyboard and force you to run to certain areas? That's an interesting power, I want to play those Killers.

Playing killer is already less stressful than playing survivor
How is dictating the chase more stressful?
-
Don't nerf SWF because not all are super sweaty and JuSt WaNt To PlAy WiTh ThIeR fRiEnDs, but nerf Nurse based on only her high rank play.
#SurvivorStandards
-
You can report such harassment on Steam itself. There isn't anything the DBD devs can do about people harassing you on Steam, so you have to go to Valve.
-
Killers adapting and using new and unexpected tactics has always been an "exploit" to Survivors who have never done so.
-
Why doesn't the killer deserve to end a boring game quickly after Survivors ######### out?
-
Adrenaline isn't saved anymore.
Or indirectly nerf it by buffing Bloodwarden to be saved as well, if you get a hook after the gens are powered, the perk activates and blocks the gates as soon as a door opens.
-
The I-frames are such bullshit. I've had Survivors take two steps and still tank the hit and I've been downed before my character model even touches the ground while being unhooked.
-
@SpyMature said:
People just gotta make a shitshow out of idea that killer has to assume every survivor has DS, like survivors have to assume that every killer has NOED, because not tunneling a person who just got off the hook is too hard, and killers need info when they're free to tunnel anyone whilst not being afraid of eating a DS
-
@NMCKE said:

Well survivors have to act like every killer is using NOED, which has a healthy impact of slowing the game down. This is called counter balance because you don't have enough evidence to prove someone isn't running this perk, so you have to assume they do or take the risk of them actually having the perk. :)
Except that they don't because it's very easy to deduce what perks the killer is using. Also let me know when it take 60 seconds to cleanse a totem.

...do not tunnel the person who just got off the hook?
Even if you do tunnel that person and really want him dead, you can always down them and wait 60 seconds before picking them up, so there's your counterplay.
So always 60s of immunity for when you get unhooked regardless of the circumstances? I don't think the power role needs that.
-
So where is the #CoUnTeRpLaY for Killers to use against DS? Or is that just a Survivor privilege?
-
Increase Thanataphobia to 10% reduction per injured Survivor and make it effect ONLY generators.
Problem solved.
-
The length of the match up to a certain point and a miniscule bonus based on emblems.
-
This thread needs one of these:
-
That's some impressive short term memory you have there OP.
Nurse's have been asking for the "auto-aim" to be removed for ages because it usually ######### them over really hard.
The problem with the hatchet "fix" was that it broke them. There are are videos of Hatchets going right through the Survivor model, especially during vaults. Of course, that was fine for cryhard Survivors.
-
Probably not, considering that Iron Will doesn't do anything about puking or being sick. It will still increase the sounds of being injured when they are broken though.
-
SWF.
Other things are powerful and annoying at times, but they actually exist in the game and most have checks and balances. SWF does not. The devs just pretend it doesn't exist and cause problems.
-
Yeah, that was a phantom grab. It doubly effects Nurse. It's not a real issue according to the devs though.
