thrilling tremors now its been out for a while is not as good as first thought or good?

  • Decent tracking perk, under performing for what it was designed, slowing down the game

  • "Bad BBQ".

It prevents survs from returning to the gen when you pick up someone, but for quite little time and with a huge cooldown. Doesn't force people from gens. BBQ does force people from gens that don't want to be found, has no cooldown, doesn't prevent people from returnig, but time used to hide from aura reading usually buys comparable amount of time.

    Something like that.

It really just depends on the character you're playing, the map, the survivor team and other factors.

It is still a potentially powerful perk, although it is easily countered by survivors not repairing a generator while someone gets picked up. It works best on the following killers:

    • The Nurse (she can quickly travel to generators being worked on)
    • The Spirit (same reason)
    • The Hillbilly (same reason)
    • The Nightmare (same reason)

It works best on the following maps:

    • The Game (The map is relatively small so generators are closer together and can be easily patrolled)
    • Haddonfield (same reason)
    • Badham Preschool (same reason)
    • Shelter Woods/Rotten Fields/Wreckers' Yard (because it is open with few obstructions so chases are easier after finding a survivor due to Thrilling Tremors)

Thrilling Tremors forms good synergies with the following perks and add-ons:

    • Tinkerer (Makes you stealthy when approaching a generator and provides additional information about how repaired it is)
    • Surveillance (Allows you to more easily patrol generators and apply generator pressure)
    • Overcharge/Hex:Ruin/Hex:Huntress Lullaby (To slow down generator progress)
    • Discordance (Apply more generator pressure)
    • Wraith Add-on: "All-Seeing" Spirit

Thrilling Trremors also synergy with Pop Goes the Weasel.

  • Thrilling Tremors is a decent perk, but it's not too amazing either. This perk is mostly used for tracking, the slow down effect part from this perk is pretty much worthless. It's good on killers with mobility ( Nurse, Billy, Spirit, Freddy ) and especially when combined with Pop Goes the Weasel, but I still feel like BBQ does the job a little bit better ( because survivors also need to waste time to counter BBQ unless they have Distortion ).

  • Thrilling Tremors is a good perk but is competing vs (imo 3rd strongest) for majority strongest perk in game BBQ which is giving you same amount of info (ofc it has its counters so its kinda worse) BUT 100% bp after every game bonus that TT cannot overcome (survs has we're gonna live which only gives 100%, but killer has easier to get 100% AND almost TT in 1 perk) and im not telling to remove BBQ i love that perk both as surv and as killer, its promoting not camping or tunneling (but pls buff we're gonna live for example 25% -> 37,5% per stack)

so TT is good perk but competition is just too strong (which is case with a lot of decent perks, just similar perks are stronger or gives you more)

  • Thrilling Tremors doesn't even do "Bad BBQ" correctly. Get rid of the MASSIVE cooldown and maybe we have something.

  • If the cooldown was something like 30 seconds and if BBQ didn't have the BP bonus I would choose TT nearly everytime over BBQ

But TT has an absolutely insane cooldown of 60 seconds that just kills it for me I get that it can be powerful but the cooldown is just absurd

  • Thrilling Tremors is a decent tracking perk because it tells you what gens are being repaired, but it can easily be countered by the Survivor letting go of the gen when a Survivor goes down. It works best on high mobility Killers because the Survivor has less time to hide after the perk activates.

  • CD of 60 seconds is too much i think, there are simply better options to slow the game or to track. If you have 3 perk build and need a little bit of both its fine. It also works really good on 3 gen strategy combined with pgtw.

  • If they would decrease the cool-down to 40 seconds and maybe inrease the time gens are blocked from 16 to 25 seconds, it would be another meta perk probably. Right now it's fine but not too great.
