Furtive Chase only works in a chase(where M&A increases your TR) and you lose all your stacks when your Obsession gives up on the hook.

Yeah the perk really doesn't do much, it was good on OG Freddy before his rework. I have never gotten any opportunity from this perk and losing the stacks at the end is just a waste of time imo. Some people have said that maybe it should hide the Red Stain after getting several stacks while in a chase for a few seconds like activate it? That would be cool but make Beast of Prey useless even though it pretty much is.
But if M&A reduces your TR by 8m out of a chase, and Furtive can reduce it by up to 16m in a chase, that means that you have a permanent -8m in or out of a chase (since FC would remove the +8m from M&A then reduce it another 8m).
The only thing that sucks about it is yea, if the obsession dies you lose your stacks. Outside of that it does indeed permanently reduce your TR by 8m when combined with M&A at full stacks.
So its fun because at max stack you only get a permanent -8m tr?
You decrease you TR in chase while all survivor hears is PRETTY ######### LOUD CHASE MUSIC.
When in chase with a ghostface in stalk mode it doesn't matter if he has TR or not as it makes no difference.
What gets people is the moment when chase ends and you don't know where he is due to no red stain or TR.

Lol survivors will run into you no matter, only time I though furtive was in any way effective was pre-freddy rework for a permanent 0 tr but the work required to play the four cup game with survivors to reach that 0tr wasn't worth it in my eyes
OMG 🤣 The ultimate gamble! That's brilliant, I didn't even realize because I forgot the Obsession get switched.
But then after the first full round of switches survs wont rescue meaning no more furtive (with swf it would only take one switch for them to stop)
If its an swf it will stop after the first/second rescue (especially if there is a random to pass it onto) if its all solo it is highly likely it will stop after each obsessed survivor takes a turn on the hook also don't miss interpret that as h effect would stop they just simply won't rescue because who wants to get a mori
