How is it a buff when the best Huntress players don't need that? Also, many monitor have the ability to display a crosshair, are they all cheating now?
The best Huntresses ARE using a crosshair. Scottjund has openly admitted to it and Umbra definitely does, you can see it in how she plays.
-
Spirit, because she really weeds out the good Survivors from the "Leet looping=skillz" Survivors.
-
Ghost Face can stalk so long as he is in stealth mode. Looking at him does nothing unless you break him out of it.
-
You need to specifically get a double pip, which means not winning too quickly and preventing the gens from getting completed quickly at the same time.

Nice edit. You're replying to yet another thing I didn't say or imply. What's the point in even @ing me if you don't actually respond to the content of my comment?
Go troll elsewhere.
Who said that was directed at you?

Crouching = big brain. I guess Legion moonwalking was big brain too.
Just much as running in a circle.
Killer used their power to effectively down a Survivor. Send help.

Since when were you punished for killing them? Unless you are running other perks like STBFL
Killing the Obsession completely turns off the new Dying Light.
-
I can see why they are scared to buff the numbers, but what I don't get it why you are punished for keeping the Obsession alive AND punished for killing them.
-
Monitor and Abuse is really good because it allows you sneak up on Survivors when not in a chase and hide your phasing better with the larger Terror Radius while in chase.
Save The Best For Last is a sleeper perk on her too, since it allows you to follow up on a hit by phasing sooner.
-
People who keep coming on the forums forums whining about her mind games being a "coin flip" should learn to play better and not only leave themselves two avenues for escape and get mad that the Spirit excels in those situations.
Think ahead about where you are going, what she expects you to do, and give yourself more options for her to guess wrong.
Also Iron Will is meta.

Because the time crunch is controlled by the survivors. The majority of pressure is placed on killers to perform rather than it actually being balanced between both roles effectively.
In the end, it's just short sighted design and misplaced emphasis on less important aspects of the game.
Agreed, also mistakes you make as the killer can be very punishing to the point that they lose you the game. Where as Survivor mistakes either aren't as punishing or have lots of perks in place to mitigate the punishment.
Even something as simple as forgetting a Survivor had Dead Hard can lose you the match, where as getting downed as a Survivor can often mean very little.

Or maybe its just an opinion that they dont have fun against Spirit.
You are allowed that opinion, but coming onto the forums to blame the killer's design for your bad plays is foolish. Different killers should require different tactics to face, but there is a general consensus of "can't run in a circle= No CoUnTeRpLaY, Killer OP."
-
Rancor gives you 7 very distinct warnings not to ######### with the Killer after the gens are done. So it's incredibly easy for the Obsession to avoid getting moried and it only gives limited knowledge to the killer in exchange.
The only thing Rancor really has going for it, is it can reduce the number of body blocking BT hook divers at the end of the match by one.

I personally don't. I will take the information and will do the best with that. Everyone is free to dodge like killers do anyway. A quick look into steam profile usually shows how experienced someone is and could be a reason to dodge aswell. What's the issue? I don't see an issue.
You say that, except the devs had to remove showing ranks in Survivor lobbies exactly because of that issue.
Why we can see rank again in the PTB now is beyond me.
-
I can already see the complaints of people dodging them in lobbies because they aren't using meta perks or are low rank.

The killer knows you have decisive strike.
No obsession = no decisive
Why does it have to mean anything more than someone is using an obsession perk?
They actually changed it so the Killer can't know which Survivor has DS. Any of the Survivors can be the obsession if someone brings it. To limit killer counterplay.
-
The lunge actually appears to be useful. Almost like a short Nurse blink that doesn't pass through objects. I bet it'll be nerfed, unfortunately.
-
Agreed. It doesn't even affect of the speed of the obsession you have to keep alive for the perk to be doing anything at all.
-
@Ihatelife said:
They buffed camaderie, now it stays paused for 34 seconds lol

So channeling a key with that add-on reveals the obsession to the killer and decreases the chance that person is you?

No idea where you are seeing this, seeing as its not on the ptb yet.
You can see the new perks in KYF already.
-
Iron Will is criminally underrated. You can gain so much distance even at basic jungle gyms if the killer messes up a mind game because he can't hear you.

If a survivor plays stupid, emphasis on stupid, and jumps in a locker then leave them in the locker. They're not doing gens. If you really want them that badly then wait them out. No different than waiting for it to wear off if you slug them.
So which perk is required to leave a locker without the assistance of another Survivor?
-
@PolarBear said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/664454#Comment_664454
Ah yes, the good ol' count 60 seconds each time someone gets unhooked.
If a survivor plays stupid with DS and goes into a locker it should still be possible to pull them out without having DS activate. It isn't a counter to wait 60 seconds for the timer to run out and grab them.
Agreed, even having the option to immediately drop them after pulling from a locker would be preferable.
-
Don't cleanse.
360 a bunch and hug objects to avoid actual stream of green puke. Don't run in a straight line and let her puke right on you until broken. Effectiveness add-ons can mitigate this though.
Now just loop her into oblivion.
-
The amount of dodging the OP is doing to avoid the concerns brought up in this thread would make Piccolo proud.
-
So long as we are talking about nonsense that shouldn't be in the game, why don't we try Nurse with 3 blinks base and increased movement speed again?
-
Pair it with Scarred Hand. You already can't teleport to traps and it gives you some fun interactions with collision. Try to offer Lery's map for maximum hilarity. You can make The Game map work too.
-
"Just apply pressure."
"Ok." *Plays a killer that can apply pressure*
"REEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The third seal is already a good perk, and your suggestion with the whole no Terror radius thing would be ridiculous

Plague has tracking, Myers TR is only a possible hassle in T1 but you can still position yourself to where you’ll see him coming, Myers waste a lot of time tiering up while Plague can puke on them once and they’ll eventually be on one hit down.
Also, I didn’t compare Plague with tuft of hair Myers, I compared her with Myers in general.
So you drop a bit of puke on a Survivor and leave them? How is that not wasting time?
It's way easier to dodge the puke than it is to prevent Myers stalking, and even if he does leave you after stalking, that's power he can use toward snowballing your team. He doesn't have to come back to you.
-
If that is the picture from the wiki, you know that isn't run by the devs, right?
-
@GrootDude said:
I find it funny that people call Myers B tier but Plague is trash tier, Plague can always one shot survivors if they don’t cleanse and has a chance to get corrupt purge if they do.
Because Myers has a bunch of other tools going for him too.
Lower TR
Faster vault speed
Longer lunge
Power that can be positioned to pop at the right moment to snowball and is more reliable to charge than vomiting on Survivors.
Comparing Plague to Tuft of Hair Myers is a false equivalency.

Sounds like playing killer's stressful for you. I'm not sure we'll be able to agree, then :P
Toolboxes are entirely fair. So are flashlights, medkits, and while I'd personally rework keys a bit they're pretty fair too. The game's not perfect, but frankly it's balanced except where matchmaking is concerned.
Nice Red Herring. "I can't argue your point, it must be a you problem."
You still have haven't explained why faster gens with no downside is fair. Even Moris have more counterplay to them now than toolboxes.
-
@ElusivePukka said:
If Ruin, Pop, Tremors, Surveillance, and the myriad other methods of active gen guarding aren't enough, each killer has plenty of powers, you can slug two every time you hook one, you can learn to patrol more efficiently, or any of the many, many tactics that experience brings you.
Tunnelers, campers, people who rely on moris, these are the people who whine about 'no counterplay', because they never learned to actually play the game with skill.
So "Do everything you already have to do, but you have even less time." Seems fair.

KILLERS.. I am saying that people have to build entirely around ONE KILLER.
Except that you don't. Just admit that Iron Will is a meta perk and try someone else besides running in circles.
Iron Will gives Nurse fits too and greatly helps your mind games at loops against all killers.
-
@ElusivePukka said:
This killer main thinks toolboxes are plenty fair. Sure, they speed up the objective, but killers have an array of counterplay. If you fail to capitalize, you're gonna have a hard time. Learn the loops, learn the mindgames, learn that in their little core survivors have a tendency to get unfocused so it's pretty easy to turn things around.
Capitalize? Capitalize on what? There is only one real counterplay to "The gens go faster, period." and Survivors bawl their eyes out when they get hit with NoED.
-
@Exerlin said:
I'm sorry that people are being awful to you just because you play spirit, but you should probably expect DCs when playing her. She's a very un-fun killer to play against for most people (including me) since you're basically flipping a coin to determine whether or not you're getting hit. She's the main reason I don't play survivor as often as I normally would, and while any harassment you receive is completely unnecessary and uncalled for, DCs should probably be expected.
If you are leaving yourself with only a coin flip to counter a Spirit, that's hardly on her. Learn to play to her weaknesses.

Absolutely, positively.... maybe.
