I think it's fine, it still has all the awfulness of the old rank reset, but with better survivors and killers.

You have to learn that anyways with all killers save nurse
No. 110 killers don't need a lot of mindgames because they are slower, so they depend more on their power for mindgames.
Like huntress using average m1 killer mindgames aren't as necessary, because you can use hatchets instead. Like you can skip out on a lot killer shack mindgames bc hatchets can shutdown normal looping of it, which in turn causes that survivor to play different. The survivor playing differently makes m1 mindgames even less effective.
Ex: I don't need to moonwalk when running the shack as huntress because I can just raise a hatchet before going into the shack, making the survivor go to the pallet rather than the window.

How are m1 killers more difficult?
Because you have to learn mindgames on most titles. With other killers you learn their ability more than mindgames.
Like nurse you don't need m1 killer mindgames you only need to learn nurse's power, which happens to be more complicated.

This list is not a measure of strength but how easy it is to harness the full potential of a killer... I included survivor group model in this... kinda comparing how hard it’d be for a solo survivor to perform like a 4man.
Huntress/Solo survivor
Nurse/Hag
Billy
Spirit/Duo-SWF
Doctor/Trapper
Leatherface/Clown/Pig
Wraith/Myers/Trio-SWF
Legion
Quad-SWF
I don’t know about Ghost Face/Freddy/Demogorgon/Oni... don’t own them/never tried them/never vs’ed them much. - I was gone a while.
edit: no add-ons btw.
I'd put spirit and hag lower, and move the m1 killers up.

If the game reach a point that someone want to suicide/leave/dc, maybe is because it's already ruined.
Or because the person leaving is overreacting? Just a tad?

Absolutely, because they were trying flashlight saves too. Oh, the game after that, everyone was running a flashlight, so I used franklins to screw their day up., The point here is there are too many tools for survivors to be bullies, which is idiotic in a horror game. Then there's the fact that a level 10 should NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be going against red ranks. Someone like me is only going to take so much BS before dealing it back out.
Killers have just as much tools to ruin survivor games.
-
It's not the forum's fault, it's the people who come to the forum just to complain.
-
I just think he's boring, most the survivors have some sort of personality, like bill mains are usually pretty bad. Adam doesn't really have one, atleast that's why I dont play him.
-
Hopefully it won't be connected to the rift, as the Halloween event was pretty much just a double BP event, and not really anything special.

There are just a bunch of "copy&past" ability-based killers. Nothing new. I would rather wait 6 months to have a whole new ability-based killer than having repetitive and dull killer at every new chapter.
I agree that they are kinda boring to play against, but in no way are they copy&paste killers.

Survivor - Reduce que times
Killer - Better totem spawns/totem system

Does anyone else wonder if sometimes bugs and such are deliberately left in a killer in order for them to be a fun and exciting addition to the game during the PTB and early marketing stages only to be nerfed into mediocrity a few weeks later?
If the flick was never intended, why was it left in only until after his release when players were very excited to drop cash on what used to be a universally enjoyed killer who is now simply Hillbilly #3?
I personally knew nerfs were coming and only purchased him with shards, but do any of you who purchased him with cash or cells feel a sense of bait and switch from the devs?
I'm starting to wonder since this seems to happen with every new killer.
It might just be the dev's wanting the whole community to test the killer, and that the changes after made right before he went live, were changes that were obviously broken.

The second quote is talking about how you can do a less effective flick, if you turn your camera to the opposite direction that you intend to flick to.
Like doing a 360, you turn the camera the opposite direction that you turn.

I'm thinking the unused spectral rarity could be applied to killer addons for the addons that people consider too OP, such as the one discussion right now about Renjiro's Glove. The spectral addons could maybe be 8000 - 10000 bp due to their power and be rarer than iridescent. All killers should have 1 addon of this rarity which can be done by making new addons or bumping an iridescent up and making a new iridescent instead.
Thoughts?
So have an addon for every killer that is broken? Please no.

It's still a thing, assuming you mean 360s.

Is that what this was referring to: "Fixed an issue that allowed The Oni to rotate faster than intended when using the joysticks during Demon Dash."?
Yeah that was the console version of the flick.

Nothing wrong with it, it just constantly shows aruas of survivors that are injured, even though survivors can't just heal themselves, ( without a perk ) like they can with plague.

I advise you to re-read the patch patch before writing anything here. OK?
But have you actually played him with the "hard-cap"? If not I'd advise you to wait before complaining.

@Rivyn said:
Seriously, why? I get if you're hiding in a locker or sitting in a corner, trying to leech off your team. But when slugged? Why does the system have to let the slugger know where I am, when they made the choice to leave me on the ground?
So if you afk at the side of the map the killer doesn't have to search the whole map for you.
-
The stats don't mean anything because most survivors aren't that good at the game. Even red rank survivors struggle because the ranking system is flawed.
If the ranking system wasn't flawed, and you had the best survivor vs the best killers than you would see the game is much more survivor based.
-
Not a good idea, as it can be easily abused.

Another reason why I hate matchmaking and sfw. This is awful...
Yup, and now that that they stopping showing survivors ranks in the pre-game lobby, I'm pretty hopeless when I load into a match and 2 of my teammates aren't doing anything.

Seems like half the people on this thread didn't really read the actual post.

Every killer is top tier as long the player behind it is capable of it. Thats how killer side works. Learn, git gud, be viable.
That's kinda why I get annoyed of tru3's opinions, as he is just good at killer, so if he knows how to play a certain killer he is gonna do good at said killer.
-
So FF sometimes causes survivors to not grunt?
I think this might be a sound issue.
-
Same, I've played huntress on the map a few times and sometimes I have to walk to the other side of the map just because there are so few lockers.

why? if it would scale down/up like in the current system I see no difference. I think a hybrid based on rank and devotion would be a good idea
If it scales down and up there would be little point in having a devotion ranking system in the first place, as each devotion level requires huge amounts of hours to gain. And because a lot of people aren't gonna have devotion levels higher than 1, you are much more likely to match with your regular red rankers.
I get what you mean, making it so you have a higher chance of going against better players, but adding this system isn't going to effect like 95% of the player base, making it kinda pointless.
-
I pretty sure you guys don't understand how this perk works, it triggers when two people on are one gen, and it makes the explosion sound to the killer as long as two + survivors are on said gen. If no explosions are happening than only one person is on the gen.
So technically there is really no difference from level 1 to 3.

I don’t even know anymore mane...whatever.
ill just keep losing at this game
Tbh winning isn't really an indication of skill, I consider myself to be a pretty good survivor, but I lose a lot because I usually just mess around.
-
Pretty broken if I'm understanding it right.
As he can vault and hit you right after you throw a pallet.
I don't think people understand why he can't be changed without a complete rework.
The problem is, is that the main part of his power is vaulting. But you can't have a killer that vaults and downs, as that would make pallets and windows obsolete. So instead his power is just for injuring, but if his power is just for injuring, its becomes very weak.
-
No? Both the games don't a sliver of similarity between them.
-
Pretty sure it has to do with the exit gates, as it always explodes at the gate.

When i first started playing DBD 3 years ago this gake was terrifying i didnt know running left a trail behind i started with 0 items perks or knowlegde to what i was getting into as mainly a survivor. Years have past since then and the fear had depleted. The last time i felt dread was hearing the plague consumption ding go off and that was like what 3 or 4 chapters ago? Now we have this Oni character and I got to say his design is the least terrifying thing I've ever seen in this game and its quite a big disappointment. I cant be the only one thinking this right?

I'm tier 70 and have 2 challenges left. The save one person during the EGC and the one right after it.

Why did Mettle of Man take so long to change but you managed to change the way deep wounds worked from PTB to live in less then a week?
Because you can't just change MoM, you actually have to think up a change for it. The Deep wounds change was more simpler and less game changing.
-
Eh, he feels about the same as before.
The pins are cool, but I'm not gonna use them much. The vault speed is nice and the speed increase barely noticable.

No as only you see aruas when someone else is hooked.

I swear people exaggerate about the state of dbd on console. Not sure if I'm lucky or my console was crafted by the gods, but I never experience these bugs nearly as often.
Same, I've never had like 75% of these issues. Though I will say they really need to fix the "network error" and the the freeze in the after trial screen.

Like seriously I’m surprised I escaped that game. Iridescent head and two teammates that did almost nothing.
Looks like lag, as you moved back a bit after the hit.
