I agree, yesterday it was almost unbearable to play survivor, as it was either a trapper, basement build, or a spirit. Not to mention most my teammates are super greedy for unhooks because of the unhook challenge, so most basement games ended in about 5-10 minutes.

i main spirit and her nerfs arent that bad
So?
-
Idk, I agree that they we more communication and more bug fixing, but Id give them some slack for their "mistakes", because they are trying to balance a game that has two completely different sides, so most changes are gonna make one side angry, like the spirit and nurse nerf.
-
I'd say your best bet against her is to slow vault when she is phasing and pass by pallets when she is phasing towards you.
Also another good strategy is running around close by a window, and right when you think she is gonna come out of her phase run to the window and fast vault. The running will attract her to your side of the window.

Keep in mind that's 10 seconds per gen in theory so almost a minute of extension.
50 seconds if everyone is injured
48 seconds for 3 full heals
You activating your FF and hitting three people does almost more than thana will do the whole game
-
Yes it's a bug, there were already 2 threads made about this issue.
-
It's likely just bugged, I got the same issue.

Yeah, actually it does when gens are typically done so quick. I wish I was as good as you though where apparently 10 seconds doesn't matter.
10 seconds when everyone is injured, that's pretty bad, considering most people just heal at the hook anyway.

I disagree, thana is strong when you get it rolling. I have used sloppy for awhile now, and the changes are not in effect yet so it's still a strong pick for Legion.
Yeah that extra 10 seconds to gens times is really gonna help.
-
Don't use thana, because its trash, and sloppy because legion is being changed so FF don't count as normal hits.
-
Yeah I don't agree, the maps that already do have this function are the indoor maps, and I lose this 1v1 door situation 75% of the time because the doors are simply to far apart.
-
I'd say be able to do a master challenge and a regular challenge at the same time, that way you can still make progress, even though you are waiting to get that perfect game for said challenge.

It’s also bs when the queue times for survivors on console are complete garbage.
Yeah, it takes atleast 3 minutes to find a match for me.

It doesn’t take long to do totems. You get a 1k bp for each totem you cleanse. If it’s a hex than you get 1.5k Bp. Your points will make up for themselves if you don’t do a bunch of gens. In average match, yes, there is time to cleanse. If you are afraid you won’t have time to do gens instead of cleansing that is a choice that you have to make.
cleanse before gens
if it glows it goes
It does take a lot of time, each totem is 16 seconds + the amount of time you spend running around the map looking for the totems. Also boldness isn't really that dire to get because most interactions with the killer give boldness. I meant objective which isn't as easy as looping the killer.
-
Cleansing totems take up a lot of time in your average game. Not only that but you lose a lot of objective points because your teammates will be doing most the gens.
-
Everything is fine, but my survivors queue times are like 3-5 minutes.
-
They should fix the emblem system, as it rewards killers like legion too much and rewards other killer little.
Though I really don't get people obsession with pipping. Pipping after a match really has nothing to do with the match and how well you did, atleast for killer.
-
I usually only DC if there no point in playing that game. Like one time I had a spirit bring a green mori to mori the obsession on the first hook for dying light ( before the change ). Like what's the point in even playing that match, I'll earn little to no points, not have fun, and waste time.

Legion nerf wasnt an accident.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/867465#Comment_867465
There was a separate chart for red ranks.
I meant as in they weren't supposed to make him worse.
-
Two killers were nerfed and legion was accidentally nerfed, that doesn't mean they are out for more killers to nerf. They had pretty good reasons to nerf nurse and spirit, and spirit's nerf is barely going to change much.
-
They probably just don't like Steve period. Most P3 Steve's I play against as killer are toxic.
-
Likely, I've already seen people running this combo, I think it's going to be more of a meme combo but still a perk combo.
-
I dislike playing hag, because I like chasing and hag is probably the most anti chase killer. I also dislike playing against good hags, because they just trap everything and it becomes a hassle just to move around the map.

It's obvious to most people that the current MoM is next to impossible to activate withouit wasting time doing nothing usefull even with the reworked protection hits, the way you have to to activate it is also very counter productive for the purpose of the perk (in order to protect yourself with the perk you have to put yourself in danger for a teammate?).
A change I was thinking of is instead of being rewarded the perk for altruism, what about being rewarded the perk for stealth:
Be chased with the killer for at least 20 seconds and successfully escape after being injured then stay out chase for the next 20 seconds. Do this 3 times to activate the perk. Does not count if you were not hit at least one time during the chase.
This way, players are rewarded to good stealth gameplay, it is not counter productive and does not require you waste time doing nothing usefull, because distracting the killer with chases helps you and your teammates.
No offense but this might actually make the perk worse, most killers don't like to abandon chases, especially when the survivor is injured.
-
By the time you get to EW 3 there is likely to be 2-3 gens done. I think one of the last times I went against a infinity teir 3 Micheal all the gens got done before he was able to start snowballing pressure.
Prayer beads don't have a single downside, and they also happen to be one of the best addons in the game.
-
Idk, I got a 4k on my first game as nurse ( of the day ) in red ranks. It wasn't fun, but that's just because I really never had fun with nurse's power.

wait what? yes it’s useful, but it’s somewhat overpowered. it will still be viable, just not as broken without the aura reading.
It's really not, it has the same problem as bitter murmur and thats that a gen can be done at anytime. If gens aren't done or if you are in certain situations like carrying a survivor the perk doesn't do anything. The mori isn't really that great, it wastes a lot of time and you can equip noed and almost guarantee a kill.
-
Tbh after they change BL haddonfield is not going to be nearly as bad.
-
1. Balanced Landing - Absolutely love this perk, not sure why people consider it map dependent when it can work on pretty much every map besides shelter woods.
2. Dead Hard - Love this one too, if you happen to mess up on a loop, no problem just dead hard and you get that pallet/window.
3. Lithe - the only dislike I have for this perk is if I want to loop a place than I'll have to just waste the speed boost, otherwise love it.
4. Sprint Burst - Meh, I really don't like to walk around all the time, and is cool against stealth killers but I really would rather use any other exhaustion perk.
5. Head on - Pretty much just for fun, not much use you can actually get out of it.
-
They just decreased the mend time to 12 from 15. That's 3 seconds less for what increased speed, vaulting and certain addons are better.
I don't know why they decided to lower the DW timer but it certainty isn't a nerf.

It would still turn a lot of loops into near infinites, It would be weaker but not useless
But it already has the 75% reduction to stagger and there aren't any "near infinites."
-
If they veverted all the changes without changing the deep wound timer he would be garbage.
Like FF is too short to get other people, and He would be super slow and easy to loop. His power would only help you get the first hit and than you would just have to loop as a 110% killer.

You act like other tracking options don't exist.
No one complains that Calm Spirit completely guts Doctor. But God forbid the perk also counter a killer like Legion 🙄. Not to mention, Legion isn't the only one with Killer Instinct.
Also worse than Freddy what? He's already worse than Freddy. Freddy is top 5 bro.
Meant old freddy.

Yeah, I mentioned those. I said to do the same as Bring the Light, which is where I recommended a commodious toolbox and Prove Thyself+Better Together or Bond. As for number 2 and 3, I didn't mention those mainly because if you're trying to do gens you should be expecting to hide.
Might or might not have read the entire post, anyway thanks for telling me.
-
Also some tisp for the dark sense one
1. Bring in bond and prove thyself ( basically just use dwight)
2. Try to stay hidden from the killer ( getting chased and hooked can be a pretty big waste of time ).
3. Hope that your team is good at chases cause you'll need that extra time
4. Also don't be surprised when the killer dced at the sight of gens being done super quick.

I took about a week off from playing dbd and I'm honestly so bad now it's kinda embarrassing playing with friends.
It's a mix of my bad decisions, bad reactions, killer desperation and killer idiocy which determines how bad I've been doing.
I don't get it but I'm still on point as killer but Survivor is just suddenly more troublesome.
Just a little rusty, or just a bad day. After I took a couple days off killer and played mostly survivor, I kept missing easy hits that I really shouldn't of.
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
That would be pretty devastating to Legion considered to be one of the worst killers at the moment.
Would also make Demogorgon portals a lot worse. Ghost Face would barely be effected because he isn't reliant on it.
All that considered i personally can't agree with that being good to do.
Also not mention it would destroy your tokens. Like legion uses hits someone with FF, and your in the TR, that's one less token. Considering that distortion doesn't have many tokens by default, it would likely hurt more than it would help.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
I disagree.
Calm Spirit should hide you from Killer Instinct. Distortion is specifically for auras and is already viable for general use. Calm Spirit is a niche perk that would become more viable if this effect was added.
Definitely not, if it did that legion would actually be worse than freddy, as that one perk would basically make his power useless.
Like when they eventually rework legion and I'd assume they would probably still have the killer instinct thing for him, he wouldn't be usable for the ptb and like 2 weeks after it when people run calm to play against the increased number of legion players.

How do you know they were hacking?
Because apparently I've hacked in this game in at least a dozen matches, according to survivors. From apparent wall hacks because I could see their arms sticking out behind a tree or hearing their breathing, to allegedly scripting hatchet throws because I know how to throw hatchets in a straight line.
Good at huntress = must be using wall hacks.

Bout halfway through Tome 2 I'd say. Mostly have Survivor Master challenges left to do. I've been putting them off on account of how much I ######### hate playing Survivor, but over half the damn Tome is Survivor focused so what can you do?
Yeah there are quite a bit of survivor challenges, and it sucks that most of them are super grindy. Like the complete 15 gens one took like 7 games for me.
-
Yeah, I do need to get better as spirit just like you legion players need to get better.

Red ranks means nothing but okey sensei... teach us all the secrets of the legion :)
They do tho, most purple ranked survivors and killers are usually worse ( thats why they are in purple ranks ). Back 3-4 months ago when I played spirit, I would usually always 4k against survivors if they were in purple ranks, but I would have some trouble when I faced red rankers.
-
@BenZ0 said:
Yep Legion is secretly the top killer just no one knows how to play this well designed and perfectly balanced killer :) And leatherface is the second best, you just need to aim correctly with the chainsaw!
No it's just that literally every legion main says he's completely awful, but if I can play him just fine in red ranks than there is clearly something that you people aren't doing right.
-
After-care, autodidact, BL, and another perk ( usually deliverance. Love being autistic but not using meta perks, so this build is perfect.
-
Doesn't make him bad, just means you have to be good at mindgames.
-
@ColgateAdvancedWhite said:
Of course it does. Not many spirit players can pull it off
You can do it easily using certain perks.
-
Legion is definitely underrated. His power can be used quite effectively to traverse the map and can be used to apply quick pressure if the survivors choose not to heal.

It’s obviously going to be Rin as a Survivor.
Maybe that's her nerf, they make her a survivor and the dad ( replaces her ) as a killer.

The medkit ons seems to count medkits EVERYONE uses. Counted 4 total used in my first attempt at it, and I had 4/6 after the trial. Wonder if self care is bugged the same way?
Maybe, too bad there isn't the same bug for the other survivor challenges.
-
Yeah probably bugged, like the completely use 6 med-kits one gave me two points when I only depleted one med-kit.
