I really don't care, who I go against
4 man flashlight
All meta perks
4 claduettes
It's really how they play not what perks/survivors/items they pick.
-
If I have it on the killer I usually use it. Its is such a great tracking perk and the extra BP is a great plus.
-
Survivor ----> Plunders; really fun to loot the basement and such and get rare items all the time.
Killer ---> Nurse's Calling; having nurse being my first main I obviously used NC. I just loved blinking and automatically getting information on someone.

Man I was this close to winning a game but I died because of my dumb teammate
So what happened was there was only one generator left and I got hooked. My teammate unhooked me and the killer was right in front of us I got knocked again and hooked again. Then my teammate unhooked me again and I got knocked and hooked. Like what was he thinking!? I could've just stayed hooked and someone else unhooke me but I didn't even have a choice. Damn it🤦🏽♂️
It's called farming, it's a thing.
-
Probably like 3%, people don't usually DC during my games.

I think not being happy about it isn't really helping with the point I was making, I think it's best to not really focus on it from an angry view... and more so view it as just something that most people like to identify those Survivors with... since they commonly see most of them doing it, but of course not all of them do.
I feel like most people don't believe stereotypes, and they are mostly just a joke. No offense, but I don't really think making this thread was good, bc that minority that do make choices on said stereotype aren't likely to even be on the forums.
-
As killer - really just the maps blood lodge and badham 1 and 2.
As survivor - just GF, spirit, and demo.

So I pop in as Huntress. The survivors see I brought Irridescent Heads with extra axes. They all DC and I am punished with a DC.
How is this ok, Devs?
I know survivor mains will say “you deserve it for bringing OP addons”. But for real? I lose a rank because survivors didn’t want to play against me?
Come on, now. Survivors get a safety Pip if the killer DC’s, but Killers don’t get the same courtesy?
And no, this wasn’t well into the match or anything. It was less than a minute. A SWF team didn’t want to deal so I depip and derank. Fair and balanced?
Last time all 4 survivors dced I still got a black pip, so not sure how you depipped

Mate. I am close to 2000 hours in the game. I know my values and have learnt how this game works and changed over the past four years.
Than why are you asking us for the answer if you clearly know how the game works from your 2k hours?
-
With legion, no.
With most other killers, yes.
If the SWF your going against is optimal really all you can do is play, you have to be pretty skilled as the killer you are playing as to defeat optimal survivors.
-
I don't really see why I would use it in a regular build, as I don't see the need to save from camping killer. Just let them have their kill.

That's the problem. A power is suppose to help a killer in chase or not.
Its does. You are supposed to hit them before hand via FF, than chase the last survivor hit and down. If you are able do this fast enough you can still catch people injured. Easy pressure. He's still an M1 killer but slightly better.
-

They did it's not a power anymore, more like a chase extender.
But you shouldn't be using it in a chase.

@humanbeing1704 said:
it's a damn shame how they destroyed legion hell all they needed to do was fix the bugs balance add ons and make them 115 speed
That wouldn't of fixed the core issue with legion, his power.
-
Looks good besides the CD and adding blood.
1. You shouldn't be chasing injured survivors with FF unless you want to down them with M1.
2. You shouldn't be using FF enough to ths point where you need 15 second CD.

Nerf spirit!!!
If all killers were "F" tier, the best ones would be "D" tier!
Go survivors!!!!
It's not really because she's really good its because her power in general is really annoying.

I think dead hard needs to be changed to work like Mettle of Man did before, you hold the Dead Hard button and if the killer hits you during that time then you tank the hit.
That would make dead hard to be the worst exhaustion perk, as most of its use is getting to a pallet or window before the killer can get you.

What rank are you? I'm rank 6 and my matchmaking is all over the spectrum on Xbox.
Rank 4 survivor rank 6 killer
Very rare that I get survivors that are rank 9+
-
Clearly you guys don't have the autodidact gods on your side. Just today and yesterday I've gotten 5 different times where I got three skill checks off one heal and 2 times where I got 4 skill checks, without any other perks affecting it.
-
100% I've been using it recently and it has actually done some serious work.
One time I was playing on badham with freddy. He slugged one of my teammates and my teammate crawled to that area in the preschool where the hatch spawns like 90% of the time. I went down there to heal him ( he was at 90% ) and got two 50% didact skill checks right after each other so I healed him full in about 3 seconds, which allowed us to escape freddy when he came down the stairs because of nurses.
-
Idk is it?
-
This must be a PC thing or something bc the only change in matchmaking for me ( on xbox ) is I get killer lobbies faster at night and faster survivor lobbies at day.
-
@Zixology said:
I never run it.
It's success depends on the quality of the connection of the killer. I'd much rather run Balanced Landing since I actually have control over it.
Not If you use it right, you don't need good connection to dead hard to a pallet or window.

I thought you were factoring sloppy and thanatphobia together? So wouldn't it be 5.76 seconds? Also my original comment up and disappeared for some reason...
No just factoring in sloppy to show that even with sloppy the the added seconds are trash
-
@Robin1101 a sloppy heal is 19.2 seconds until they changed it so it's only a 3 second change.

At higher ranks survivors usually dont cleanse
Yeah thats bs whenever I play at rank 1-4 there always one person who cleanses.
Heck the last time I played plague someone cleansed right after being infected.
So whether of not I decid to cleanse it usually doesn't matter when someone else cleanses first because being broken while she has corrupt is a death wish.
-
@premiumRICE said:

A decent survivor wouldnt clease against plague anyway.
Yeah well playing solo eliminates that counter play.
-
The only killer I would recommend (if you have nothing better to use ) thana to is plague because survivors THINK they are wasting time bc of thana and cleanse.
Thana doesn't work on other killer bc its numbers are awful and people heal regardless of you using thana or not.
-
Well it doesn't seem like people know who trash thana is.
Thana ---> 4% per injured/hooked/downed, max of 16%
Sounds good but if you do the math, having all survivors injured/hooked/downed will increase:
Generator times by 12.8 seconds
Healing times by 3 seconds ( with sloppy )
And that's with them all injured/hooked/downed with tbh isn't going to be much of the game.
Please don't use thana it saves next to no time, use pop or BBQ.
-
NO! Do not use thana it's pretty bad. Use dying light it's much better.

Well then people can do it without the prompt
But I don't know that.
-
Dude Whenever I see someone trying to unhook themselves I usually think it'd because they want to die on the hook, so duh I'm going to stop you.

@2Khours said:
she haven't been touched for a year and nurse did had a nerf before her kit get changed, (2 blinks instead of 3)
some killers will have their add-ons reworked like for doctor and myers, she isn't in the devs radar and won't be since they believe she is in a good place, they know she's strong and she will remain this way.
cry all you want, it jsut show you simply can't git gud against her, and maybe if you'D stop DC all the time against her you could maybe learn a few tricks ;)
Somehow I doubt she isn't gonna be changed.
-
Probably not, anyway I'd bring in a bps and ask to farm when rank reset rolls around.
-
Tbh a good potion of pallets in The Game are either good pallets or really good ones. Like the pallets under the stairs on the edges of the map.

@LOA said:
Size matters some for survivors, but the real kicker is sound. Some survivors are loud as hell, while others barely make a sound. My man Ace is extra quiet.
True, I just got Jeff and he breathes so loud when running and he pretty much stomps when he walks.
-
I wouldn't say it was dumb, Whenever I use a splinter it makes me want to buy said killer more, because I usually have fun with them.
-
They might have removed it because making a teacher a killer would imply she would kill kids.
-
Probably just a bug.

Regardless of someone disconnecting or not .
It's against The Game Rules .
It's no Excuse to Farm and get easy points . And everyone should be punished in the game if they don't resume normally !
Its been said by some mods i think that farming is fine because nobody is being hurt by thr killer's "gamethrow". Similar to how killers will use builds that are meant to lose like no blink nurse.
In my opinion I don't like farming as it is dreadfully boring, which is why I when I "farm" i just play normal but I just don't kill survivors nor tell them I am farming, funner for all i'd say.
Anyway the takeaway is that farming isn't reportable because the killer isn't actually doing anything wrong.

Demogorgon, Billy, Spirit. A and S tier killers and I cannot perform.
I wouldn't worry much than, you aren't gonna be even good at a killer that have high skill levels like billy and spirit over night. I would watch videos over the killers you play, helped me a lot.

In away if he had rarities they'd be instantly nerf
@Pulsar Spirit is'nt stronger than Billy
Spirit is 100% stronger than billy. Billy is much easier to juke because of the simple fact you can see him. With spirit you can literally do a 180 on what you did last time and the survivor would have no clue you did that besides just simple guessing.
-
Billy probably seems pretty good when you face him in your early gameplay ( trust me I hated him too for so long ), but he really isn't as bad when you know how to play against him. If you are able to play against his chainsaw than there isn't much he can do, plus the wasted time he spent trying to get his chainsaws.
Though the only think I will say about billy being unbalanced is his stupid insta-saw add-ons those are some bullcrap.

Ummm that's like already implied my dude. That doesn't excuse the fact that there are more fingers on my hand than rank one killers compared to the never ending list of rank 1 survivors.
Because survivor is more relaxed. Killer you have to scramble to control all four survivors.
-
Haven't played killer yet but I have been waiting the average 30 seconds to 1 minute time with survivor.
-
@TragicSolitude said:
I believe you.
Within the game, the lore is that the Entity needs the survivors to be hooked in order for it to be fed. If you're not hooking survivors, then you're not doing what the Entity wants, which means the Entity's going to reward you less. Hooking survivors is the killer's main goal, so that's what rewards the most points; it even says so on the loading screen.
You can play however you want, but the game rewards specific things. If you play in a way that goes against that, you can still have fun, but expect to be rewarded fewer points.
He's not wrong.
