Huh? This makes no sense. For the game to run semi-decent;y the game has to be full of survivors because of the whole 4v1 thing. So yeah, duh.

I don't think will be necessary as I think they are reworking the bloodwebs to have more perks in them.

This is actually a good idea.
But it can't exist in a vacuum. There has to be some kind of compensation for survivors.
This change will encourage tunneling, because now the killer has an almost sure shot at killing a recently off-the-hook survivor within seconds.
There needs to be significant change as well in how hook mechanics or healing works. Heal speed nerf needs to be reverted, for starters, and camping needs to be more heavily punished. Like hook timer doesn't move at all if killer is within 30m.
It isn't a good idea if you need to change main mechanics about the game just to change it. That only makes the problem worse because there will be many other perks that need to be changed because of those changes, and it would just make everyone mad, because of unnecessary changes.
-
But that would encourage tunneling, as if you were injured and get the unhook, than the killer hits you, you get away but the other survivor doesn't.

ye just it has 0 sense hurt survivors can sprint like nothing happens :( killers are suppose 2 be super natural creatures , at the moment survivors seem also like super natural humans ,
i mean how can u run when u had a hook in ur stomach x.x
Nothing about dbd makes sense tho. A supernatural being captures and enslaves killers and survivors alike and force them to do "trials" over and over again to fed his/her power. Not sure about you but I never heard about this happening in real life.

3 people choose Nea, thats interesting I main her and would only buy maybe 2 of her skins.

Clearly you care enough to comment, and people do care because they are in here saying they would report it.
I'm not in here justifying it, but I do understand why people will do it. That's all I'm saying.
I am saying I don't care because in terms of what your de-ranking for. They only care that you are de-ranking in the first place, so they report it.
I didn't say I didn't care about my opinion on this.

That's just giving the giant middle finger to anyone trying to play with friends? But, somehow de-ranking is bad because you want your friends to enjoy the game? you people would report the guy de-ranking for trying to give their friends a better experience when they log on.. ROFL
The only real fix would be to make two separate systems. One for ranking with incentives and another for casual BP grind. The current one is total ######### and just screws over one side to benefit the other. You guys can defend this all you want, but it's getting backlash for good reason.
Dude nobody knows when you are de-ranking to play with your friends or you are just de-ranking, and frankly nobody cares. If you DC at any point besides during endgame its annoying as you ruined my game to allow your friends to play with people their rank.
It sucks that you can't play with your friends, but you shouldn't be able to ruin the killer's game and think its okay because you just want to play with your friends. Even if you don't do that plenty of others do, which there can be nothing done that issue ( besides what they are currently doing ) because they just want to "play with their friends."
-
Personally, Yes
I don't have a problem as I play mostly red ranks and get more variety in who I play with and against.
-
When ever I use Ruin it lasts pretty long, not sure what you guys are doing wrong.
Anyway I would do that challenge but dbd is updating for me.
-
Wow I am actually blind.
-
Ah Trapper, my favorite survivor.
-
Bond, and not in the way that its underrated just that I use it in literally every survivor build I can.
-
Not really, the game is always buggy. Before the patch I had a game where nearly all the glitches i face were all in that game. Once they add another Chapter they basically break everything, this is probably you just getting lucky before this chapter.
-
Yeah this is an awful idea.
If you are wanting a PERK to encourage survivors to heal run thanatophobia and it will most likely cause them to heal, even though the perk doesn't actually do much to gen times and such.
-
The stun time is when you get hit by a pallet, it doesn't effect anything else, just pallet stuns that survivor do.
-
Think about this than.
You Mori a survivor and there is 3-4 gens left without ruin
C - chased F - free to do whatever P - pressured to get an unhook H - hooked
You will usually have one tracking perk so finding a survivor isn't much of a problem, so you are currently in a chase with one.
1 - C 2 - F
You down the survivor you are chasing and hook them. Because you ( hopefully ) have BBQ you know where another survivor is and begin a chase with them.
1 - C 1 - H 1 - P
While you are chasing this survivor there will be no gens being done since the only other survivor is getting the unhook. Now if you are good with the killer you are using you should be able to down the survivor you are chasing which from there will just reset to the last part until someone dies.
Now if there were 4 survivors left in this game the survivor's wouldn't be in a constant cycle of recusing, being chased, on the hook, and working on a generator for a little. This causes the killer to actually make meaningful decisions in who to chase ( the dude working a gen, the one going for the unhook, or maybe search the area for the survivor i don't know the location for ). With the Ivory you don't have to make any decisions as when you start to chase one the other has to go for the unhook.
-
I mean that sucks, but it also sucks when the rank 15 killer gets destroyed, because you're a rank one.
Also it doesn't matter if you play fair against that killer, because others don't.
-
If you got a 4k than you should of gotten a merciless, are you referring to 32k points or 4k as in all all out medals?
-
Impressive as they seem to have some nasty builds.

they took it out for cyber bullies like you
Okay if someone disagree's with you on the internet it doesn't make them a cyberbully, its only if they intentionally mentally harm you. And i'm pretty sure they took it out because there is no constructive criticism in pushing a button.
@SasukeKun Anyway i'm sorry for attacking your posts I just want you to understand my thoughts and why I think yours are wrong. I'm not out for your firstborn or anything I just want to have a valid argument.

This is a killer issue what does a survivor main have to accomplish here, lol typical
That it effects survivors too?
I don't enjoy having to Gen Rush just to in a game against someone with a Mori.
Anyway I would give a killer perspective but sadly I don't use moris unless its for a daily.

They'd be easy pickings for any killer
There is three reasons's people run no mither tho.
- As a joke
- Because they are really that good
- They think they are good but aren't
Not sure if have went up against someone who has no mither and are actually good but its just a waste of time.
The people who are just using it as a joke as easy pickings obviously.
-
That sucks, that is pretty much how SWF has always been.
-
@Mochan said:
Let's also fix No Mither so killer doesn't know I am packing it.
That's the point of the perk though, its supposed to be that the bads outweigh the goods.
Also I think the other purpose of No MIiher is to scare killer's off as tbh if I saw someone with No mither and object of obsession, there is probably a reason they are running those perks.
-
No? Why would I as survivor play normally when you pull some bs mori. I rarely sweat when I play, but if you bring a Mori, i'm not gonna play fair.
If I would have brought in the old brand new part that would finish gens instantly, why would you play fair because that survivor just broke any balance that was in that game.

Doesn't devour hope trigger AFTER you hit someone and instadown that survivor? Cause that's my point right there, and I play remember me, Blood Warden, NOED and Rancor, tell me why mess with my endgame build?
Yes but the difference is that one is during the pretty much the end of the game and the other can trigger whenever, and noed is a lot harder to prevent.
Its also not really fair to get insta-downed because you can't tell the difference between the killer using his M1 or M2 to down a survivor you can't see.
-
Plague, is actually the most boring killer to play.

There are certain loops that the pounce will help you end where you wouldn't get a regular hit. If you use it again from a distance after the first hit, then it's worth it over trying to run a loop like the God pallet hoping for a NOED hit.
Yes duh, but hitting them pounce gives them a chance to get away, and with other survivors in the game they could easily get a gate open, in the first 20 seconds after the last gen pops.
With NOED you just use your speed boost to catch up with the survivor, so you can insta-down.
-
@Carlosylu said:

How about against injured survivors? hook them, go away, come back, down 2 new guys cause they thought you didn't have NOED and fell for that mind game, that would be amazing to do
Still isn't that big of a deal though. If you have a perk that is very significant to killing survivors they should know, like how when you down someone with Devour Hope ( 3 stacks ) the game tells you they have that perk rather than just making them infer you do.
-
I think you'll live. Its not that big of a deal. That and why are you using his ability if you have NOED? Kinda counter productive.
-
This is so dumb. How many games at rank are actually people who have played past 1k hours? Not very many because red ranks are very easy to get to. I mean half the red ranks I play with and against suck. Even if you did get a really good survivor, if they are doing solo and they have crap teammates than it doesn't even matter, just leave that good survivor alone and maul the others.
-
Anyway, it doesn't matter. The developers focus on one thing at a time, and right now its on the Stranger Things Chapter, whatever they do with Legion is probably still being debated.

You can read a Spirit, it's just far more difficult than other killers but that's good you actually have to think to survive. Paying attention to every detail is crucial against a Spirit and in my eyes makes her the best killer to go against.
Her add-ons could use some Tinkering but besides that what would you recommend the Devs do to help you read her better?
Also as a suggestion if you have issues with Spirit all you have to do is use Spine Chill it's unbelievable how helpful it is to understanding what the Spirit is doing
When she uses her power it's mostly based on how good she is, and how lucky you are. If she phase-walks on a simple loop, it's just a guess, not a mind game.
The Nurse allows mind games as you can actually see her and react to her blinks. You can't see the spirit and unless you got certain perks it's just an educated guess.

Any killer with a damaging ability can do that. STBFL is only affected by basic attacks.
Odd never new that.

Feral frenzy still affects stacks. Idk if it benefits though. Does feral frenzy even have an attack cooldown?
Oh misread what Milo said, thought meant that legion couldn't get stacks with the perk.
He can get stacks with FF, but it doesn't benefit FF.
-
@Yung_Slug said:
I don't know if shred benefits from STBFL, but using shred does NOT affect your stacks, meaning you can shred the obsession without losing stacks. So even if shred doesn't benefit from it, STBFL will still probably be great on Demogorgon.
Wow it doesn't work on him, sounds like a bug. If not that seems pretty op to be able to still attack your obsession with no punishment.

Reduce the flashlights' blinding time
They shouldn't. They should only increase the blinding time, as in how long the killer is blinded.
-
Last time i checked STBFL worked for Legion's FF.
-
Unlikely, to my knowledge most killer's powers don't benefit from Unrelenting.
STBFL should work with shred though.
-
Yeah pretty sure she's bugged. Had a couple of times where she wouldn't make the whoosh sound when I wasn't in the TR ( and no it wasn't b/c of the add-on ).

Doesnt mean we cant try to smoothen out some of the rough edges
If it was that simple it would have already been done.
-
"So , the wiki says you can, with the purple flashlight or the bulbs"
Do what?

This isn't gonna work lol.
As long as killers and survivors have free will in-game there will always be salt. ALWAYS!

yea, i always wanted 3 teammates self caring in the corner for 4x 32s.
Rather them use SC than get downed because they couldn't find a teammate. Also med-kits are a thing too.

What do you think about the idea of an item exchange shop to sell back items, addons, and offerings? They wouldn't have the same sell cost as buy cost, but maybe half? That way you can sell a bunch of stuff before prestiging in order to have some BP. I think it would help a lot with the grind.
No? Selling all your stuff back before prestiging defeats the purpose of prestiging which is to start over.
-
Wasn't it already turned down some not so long ago? Anyway I don't agree as the chase music doesn't bother me much.
-
Rather not, as the demogorgon is in a pretty good place right now. Also being able to destroy pallets with the ability wouldn't be a small buff, which is why it is an ultra rare add-on.
