Well I'm glad that he is. I don't have any desire to test things like this and do videos so watching it can be enlightening for others and a confirmation for me, especially when it lines up with my experience.
And it's a good thing people do milk controversies, otherwise we wouldn't have had great content like depip squads or D-strike/BNP concerns, right?

He's got a point though. People are blowing this Spirit controversy way out of proportion. Im not saying she doesn't need some changes, but damn yall need to learn how to counter her (which does exist)

with that, you can turn them like the survivors can turn their models around in a lobby.
this does not work in normal lobbies, sadly.

We whine because this game used to be VERY Survivor sided. Its taken this long for us to get closer and closer to a balanced state, but we still arent there yet. Survivors are acting like these nerfs to them is because Killers want them to be reduced from balanced to unplayable, when in fact we're trying to move away from the old days when survivors were absolutely OP and get the down to a balanced state.

That's what a decent chunk of the Survivor experience is though.
Not everyone is a gen jockey. And even gen jockeys will have a hard time completing 3 gens that dont have any previous work on them, and before any other survivors complete those gens.

Yeah, problem is I don't think survivors are going to stop there, the next killers they are going to try and get nerfed are either, Billy, Freddy, or Plague (seriously survivors are calling plague unfun and are starting to DC against her....)
I fear for Freddy. He was so perfect with his rework.

In the past year we've gotten 4 major killer nerfs and one major killer buff (Nerf: Legion, Nurse, Pig, Spirit) (Buff: Freddy)

TBH I think most of us would be fine if they skipped a chapter just to focus soley on improving the game, with matchmaking, ranks, balance, performance, etc.

Devs have said this before, they aren't going to punish people for their choice of gameplay unless they are exploiting the game or taking it hostage.

Nonetheless, Spine Chill is a great counter to stealth killers which is picking up in popularity. You wanted an explanation of why Myers is different to other stealth killers, I gave you one.

The reason Myers is different to killers like Ghostface, Pig, and Wraith is because you start out the match in Tier one, you have to work to get out of tier one, and you can never go back to tier one. The other three can go in and out of their stealth states at will, with few downsides, at least compared to Myers. It makes sense to give those 3 a counter, because theyll be stealthy for a good amount of the match. But to give that same counter to Myers makes the struggle to get out of T1 even harder. Its an unnecessary nerf.

Sure, in the real world, stereotyping is dumb, but this is a game. In a game no one is hurt if I see a Dwight go in a locker and I think "Oh classic Dwight". Or if I see a Meg drop a pallet when Im 20 feet behind her and I think "Oh baby meg"

1) Killers who consistently camp are punnished, they get less Bloodpoints
2) Camping is sometimes necessary. If I hook someone during the endgame right next to the exit gate with everyone swarming near the hook, you can bet your ass im gonna camp
3) Its poor game balance to punish strategies. You cant ban/punish someone just because of the way they play the game. Unless theyre hacking or abusing exploits, everyone should be able to play how they want to play.

I think the whole idea of Feral Frenzy and Deep Wounds should be scratched entirely. Based on Legions trailer, showing him running with David, acting as a survivor, then turning around and stabbing him in the back, is either a case of blatant misdirection and false advertising, or Legion was originally a disguised survivor killer, but the idea got scraped and they forgot or didnt have enough time to make a new trailer. I say stay true to your original promise and just change Legion into his original idea, a disguised killer.

My main problem with the Hatch right now is survivors have a hatch finding perk and killers do not.
I would suggest to fix this, make it so Whispers increases the range at which you can hear the hatch.

I play on PS4, and as such I don't find that many good Nurses. But from the few that I do find, I understand just how unfun and unfair it is to play against her. And with the recent controversy of the Nurse nerfs, I have found that Nurse mains are as spoiled as entitled survivors.

I dont think its fair to patronize the devs for this (theres a lot better things to patronize the devs for instead). But this delay was either out of their control, i.e the power outage, or they want to make some more adjustments and changes to make the next patch/archives/event better.

This game has potential, Im sure all of us here can agree with that. However, we all have ideas on how that potential isnt being reached. To imply the game is perfect or fine the way it is is ignorance. Like @Peanits said, its passion that drives us, not hatred. We may not like the game as is, but we like the game it could become.

The game has a lot of DLC but the DLC goes on sale fairly frequently. $93 for a game and three years worth of DLC is a pretty good deal TBH. A lot of AAA games have way more for the game + 1 years worth of DLC much less 3.
The game has 5 free killers: billy, wraith, trapper, nurse and huntress; and 7 free survivors: David, Dwight, Meg, Claud, jake, nea and bill. Console version has more but is also more expensive so I can't really speak for the price/content there.
The game has plenty of base content. Most of the meta survivor perks are free and there are quite a few good free killer perks as well as two of the best killers. You only need 2-4 DLCs to get the rest of the meta perks you might want (like laurie for DS + bubba for bbq + hag for ruin) and you pretty much have the stuff that many people use game after game without swapping out. Additionally all the maps are free.
Also when it comes to FOMO I don't really think its a problem. In fact I think the battlepass reduces FOMO way more than it causes it. The battlepass allows you to get a load of cosmetics for a relatively low price + there are a lot of iri shard cosmetics in the game. FOMO when it comes to cosmetics is way less of a problem when theres a significant number of cosmetics that can be gotten for free. And when it comes to actually completing the battlepass, everyone can use the archives so that isn't really a problem. I also imagine once the rift closes the old cosmetics will be added to the store where some of them will become available for shards.
It does pay itself back, which is good. But we shall wait and see how long it will take to pay itself back.
idk about you, but most games I play don't have 13 different DLC's, most have anywehre between 1 and 4 expansions or addons that cost the same price as a chapter. And in online games, much of the "DLC" is cosmetics, which I didn't mention at all. I just don't like the insane price I have to put into the game and will have to continue to put into the game. Especially for new players who thought the game was $20

Umm... I play Legion now, in purple to Red ranks. I know they got nerfed and in fact have a very healthy thread going about how to rework them by Legion mains. I have fun even now as Legion. Sorry you can't comprehend that.
I used to main Legion before his nerf. And I wasn't one of the toxic legions who moonwalked or used Bloodhound. After his nerf, I just found his as a boring M1 killer.
