The fact that you gave Feng her own F tier feels personal :( lol
It is personal....against Feng

You make better progress by not camping, that being said I do believe in baiting the 2nd to last survivor especially when they don’t show up with bbq. That’s a wise choice because you lose more time going the wrong direction than you would staying put
Exactly, camping has a time and a place, much like most strategies.

Specific Killers do good on Specific maps, yes. That does not mean that maps are in killers favor. For example, Myers and GF on Coldwind, Billy in Lerys, Game, or Hawkins. Not to mention the insane infinites on Disturbed Ward, Campbells, Coal Tower, Rancid Abbatoir, Torment Creek, Ironworks, Haddonfield, Ormond, etc.

Or Prayer Beads could just make Spirit's TR to affect the entire map when Spirit is phasing.
Hmm, thats not a half bad idea. Althoug much like Wraiths Bone Clapper or whatever its called and Freddys Class Photo, survivors would catch on quickly.
-
If this change happens, the killers should receive more info as well.
-
Also, why in the Q&A did they say they only might bring back the role switch button? Why can't we have nice things?
-
At the very least make them more transparent.
-
Yeah, I can totally see this being abused.

Changing PB to pink rarity will only make it worse. The are 3 pink items a killer can get in their blood web... 2 add-ons and ebony mori. Maybe more if splinters are available. Maybe less depending on the killer.
There are 8 purple options in the blood web aside from perks. Oak, fog, coin, ward, and the killer's 4 purple add-ons.
So you make it from a 1/8 chance of getting on per web to a 1/3, and after p3 50 every web has at least 1 pink item. It will be easier to get them.
Instead we need to add some drawback to Prayer Beads. Currently there is a "bug" where you can hear the Spirit's footsteps. I think this should be fixed, BUT for PB it should be the drawback. Make the range something like 6m, this way you can't get free gens grabs on survivors that pay attention. You could still definitely get the free hit though.
Idk about other people but I just think Prayer Beads and Fathers Glasses should switch rarities.

You can grab survivors on gens and they have no chance to see you coming if they don't have spine chill. How is that overhyped?
You can see grass moving and her footsteps if you really listen. And as a Spirit main, whenevr I run Prayer Beads, I'm usually only able to get one gen grab off and thats in the start of a match. After that I'm either constantly in chases or survivors are cautious enough.
And survivors have no problem not being able to tell where Spirit is in a chase, but all of a sudden they do care when not in a chase?
-
Yeah, it is annoying. Theoretically when the entity first appears it appears to the perk it will take first unless you take that perk. But now it appears and just takes whatever perk it wants.
-
I think we'd all like to have a nice chat with Matthieu....
-
Prayer beads are overhyped. People need to understand that they only work when you get the inital jump on a survivor. During a chase it's a useless addon because the whooshing sound doesnt play to begin with inside her TR.
-
ummm no.
-
Not bait but ok
-
A- Ace, Steve, Tapp
B- Jeff, David
C- Bill, Nea, Dwight, Jake, Nancy
D- Kate, Jane, Laurie, Adam, Ash,
E- Claudette, Quentin, Meg
F- Feng

Eh, I don't think they would rework a map that is that new.

@Alba said:
Next chapter will be a map rework, but I dont know which map
I think the most likely candidate is Haddonfield, being as how they said in a dev stream that they were gonna make multiple versions of licensed maps so they don't have to go through another licensing meeting to create a whole new map.

I feel like a lot of people misunderstand what camping is, and that there are multiple different kinds of campings. Facecamping is when the killer is literally standing right in front of the survivor or within a short distance of them. This is usually done either because you hate that survivor, you're new to the game, or you were losing the whole game and want to secure at least one kill. Facecamping is a no no. Next is the most common type of camping and what I call Patrolling Camping. This is where the killer stays within visual distance of the hook in an attempt to search the immediate area for other survivors. Some killers will do this out of paranoia, others will do it because they know other survivors are within the area. This is where the strategy comes into camping. If the killer knows survivors are just waiting for the killer to leave for a split second in order to get the save, it would be stupid for the killer to let them, especially if the survivors don't try to do the smart move and just leave to do gens. I have done this method multiple times and survivors always seem to fall for it. This is in no way Toxic, as it can be the best strategy for the killer to use if he knows survivors are in the area, and if he knows the survivor team is altruistic.
-
Somewhere in the low tiers, right next to Wraith, Trapper, Clown, and Doc.
-
It was all going good until Legion.
-
Genrushing is unfun for killers, just as much as camping or "tunneling" is for survivors. However it can't be fixed by punishing survivors for doing gens to quick. But I don't think it can be solved by increasing the time it takes to complete a gen, because holding one button for 80+ seconds isnt fun.
-
Killers can't really be defined as simply good or bad. It's more complex than that.
-
Personally I dont want Pennywise, for the soul reason of his name. Clown is already taken, and I'm afraid the license holders will request his name not have a "The" in front of it and his name be either It or Pennywise. But even if a "the" was in front of it, The Pennywise and The It are still stupid names.
-
His suggestion on Ghostface baffled me the most. Make it easier for survivors to bust GF out of stealth? WHAT?
-
-
Because his gen teleport gives him very good map pressure, and both his snares and pallets are great at shutting down loops.
-
This isn't a war. Killer mains don't hate survivor mains and vice versa. Each side has their own problems with the other, and the general consensus is that the game is unbalanced.
-
BBQ literally has the most counters of any perk in the game. Go in a locker, hide behind a gen, go within the 32m radius, or juke the killer by walking in one direction, waiting 4 seconds, then going in the opposite direction.
-
...why?
-
I don't think they could mention Jason. Or acknowledge that Trapper was inspired by Jason.

Here are the results of my past 30+ matches as a Survivor at R1 playing solo.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fmwuhlmag8s32myoqtKQvCxneF5WNWhRvE4bz6pWfRQ/edit?usp=sharing
Tonight was a bit rough, I only escaped once.
40% of the games have resulted in 4k's, something that should be a HUGE accomplishment and not happening so frequently. I would say Killers are in a great spot at the moment, based off of my data.
30 matches are nowhere near a good sample size to judge all games off of.
-
As if they don't already riot about every killer buff or survivor nerf?
-
How to Nerf Survivors: Give them a stamina bar
-
I agree whole heartedly that Suiciding is as scummy as DCing, but theres not much the devs can do to punish or prevent it.
-
Nice b8 m8
-
As another Spirit Main, when you use Mother Daughter Ring you realize how less dependant on scratch marks you become when you go that fast. Sound is what guides a Spirit, not scratch marks.
-
Also, I think it would be cool if when in Casual, the map you get corresponds to the map of that killer. Although that wouldnt really work out for Ghostface or Bubba.
-
Pallets are a gimmick. Apart from them being fun when you catch survivors with them, they're pretty useless. Snares >Pallets

Claudette, a science nerd, has higher agility than Jack park (who freaking lives in the woods) and David King (a rugby player). Sounds about right.
I did that mainly because she's a petite woman. And like i said, i'm not asking for opinions on the numbers, just the idea itself.
-
Based on the stats the devs released a while back, the survival rate of survivors at rank 1 is 80%. Thats why we call the game imbalanced.
-
@SkeletalElite said:
Only problem is some stats are clearly better than the others.
Agility is clearly better than all of the others. Perseverance is the second best, team work the third. Ingenuity and then awareness.
Agility: vaulting speed is the most tangible effect out of all of these
Perseverance:slower timers is nice but the faster recover is pretty significant, especially combined with unbreakable.
Team Work: Unhooking faster is pretty okay I guess
Ingenuity: The extra item charges will almost never be significant
Awareness: Most aura reading perks aren't good
If you are using a basic brown toolbox and you have level 5 ingenuity, youll get 6 extra charges on that toolbox. A base toolbox has 80 charges, making the total 86. That might not seem like a lot, but Thanatophobia level 3 adds 6 seconds to the base 80 generator repair time.

@Exerlin said:
I'm a fan of survivors having passives of some sort, but this would be such a minor change that it's almost never worth considering one survivor's stats over another's.
I didn't want to make it so major because that's what perks are for.

@Konomaru said:
I rarely play killer, but sometimes I do. As a rank 19-20 killer, I suck so I use hex ruin and noed to keep me sane. I constantly find survivors that consistently want me to chase them and half the time they flashlight the ######### out of me. Then when I kill them at the end with noed, I will face camp them if they wanted me to chase them so bad. Afterward they complain and whine, harassing me about using noed and that rank 20 shouldn't be using it. It seem survivor can be toxic and expect killer not to do the same. Killer uses whatever perk they want, I never care, just as survivor I use whatever I want. Playing both sides, I know facecamp, tunneling, annoying survivor clicking flashlight at you for attention sucks, but both side should know that their play style reflect how the opposing side will treat them. As a survivor main, i feel bad for killers who get consistently attacked by multiple survivors in the chat after a game. Mostly just venting, but I would like to hear others' experiences.
I agree, we shouldnt attack people for the strategies and perks they use. If we think something is OP or "toxic", we take it to the devs, not yell at people who are just doing what they think is best.
-
It might help develop a more friendly relationship between killer and survivor, but then again it could also do the opposite.
-
For Survivor, escaping, though it is better if more than just me escapes.
For Killer: 3 kills, preferably if the last guy escapes via the hatch.
-
@LastShoe said:
Not having any matchmaking system in a casual gamemode? It's a bad idea, just look at the games like Mordhau where noobs are just a cannon fodder.
Thats not what the OP said. He said the same matchmaking system as now.
Also, I thinkj in order for this to work, ranks in general need a rework to make them harder to get to and more rewarding.
-
Except the thing is it has no use during a chase whatsoever. The whooshing sound doesnt play while in the TR. It's good for surprising the first survivor and nothing else. If anything, make Prayer Beads and Fathers Glasses switch rarities.
