What about the other survivors who get screwed over?

The killer would get points as well as the person who killed themselves. You can make the points as much as a hook kill. This along with temp banning Dc'ers I think would help alot.
-
Killers dont need buffs, the gameplay needs a buff to make killers playable.
-
I think it should instead be changed to the "Metal Gear Solid Torture Room" difficulty.

I agree. I think this would help with the DC problem
How would giving survivors another option to leave the match prematurely without any consequences solve the DC issue?
-
Yes, offering and items that give you an instawin regardless of skill are perfectly balanced.
-
Right now I've been playing Red Dead Online. Im taking a break from DbD until thye next chapter.
-
Not true at all. The Devs dont edit or make any articles on the official wiki and it was probably just a fan made blogpost.
-
Apparently I got messaged on PS messages from the developer of DbD complaining to me that we all died and I survived the longest? Now he says Im gonna get banned. Mathieu Cote Im sorry pls dont ban me.
-
The fact that you don't even know the name of an Ebony Mori really makes me question and doubt your knowledge of the game, and makes me not want to take your opinion seriously.
-
RNG, Luck, Probability, Odds, call it whatever you like.

It's not irrelevant when you're trying to use it for this argument about how overly RNG the game is.
Well then you didn't read the other part of my post. "or just factors out of control of the player." Sure some factors don'y matter like tile placements/arrangements, and the location of assets and what map is played, but the factors that do matter tip the balance of the game.

While I agree that the RNG can be gamechanging and extremely frustrating for both sides, I think its an important part that keeps the game interesting. The RNG ensures that you need to adjust to every match. You cant do the same route in a chase like you did the match before. You need to adapt to the new pallet/tiles spawns. It prevents the game from becoming stale, along with the huge variety of killers. I think its a nessecary evil to keep the game alive.
Adapting to different map layouts and pallet/gen/tile placements, sure. But there's no way to adapt to the gates being spawned right next to or far apart from eachother.
-
Whether is matches with exact definition is irreverent. It's a gamble based on luck.
-
It is RNG because it's randomized where the key is placed. There's no way for the survivor or the Pig to know where each key is.
-
I really liked the new power design the devs went with. Hopefully this means that all future killers will be like him.
-
Hybrid Panda seems to think the chapter will launch September 3rd. Correct me if I'm wrong since I don't play on PC but that would put the PTB on August 13th, 5 days from now.

I want to say A on Xbox and X on ps4 by default while you are using the medkit? But I am not sure someone will have to confirm that
It's L1/LB on PS4/Xbox.

Plague's design looks the best by far.
Spirit is the worst in my opinion. The method that they used to make her hair is awful, and it should've all been made with the material her first geisha and school outfits use. The stupid nudity that makes no sense and actively doesn't fit into the lore is pretty garbage too.
They almost made her fully nude.

they get mad because it's not their fault for getting saved right in front of you. i sometimes get farmed a lot and i don't blame the killer for attacking me. like you said it's easier, but did i ask to be saved? this is why i run decisive strike AND borrowed time to help myself and my teammates. however i sometimes get salty but instead of blaming the killer i blame the person who farmed me
A lot of survivor aren't as smart as you and think the killer is to blame for everything.
-
They are missing but they're also the latest killers. If there are only 9 killers, they would stop at Spirit and not skip her or anyone else to include Plague or Legion.
-
Could be the nine OG killers. Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Nurse, Hag, Doctor, Huntress, Clown, and Spirit? I think it has to be those because they wouldn't include the licensed killers in there st no extra cost.
-
I've gotten salt from survivors when I am playing survivor for no reason at all. Their speach is so incoherent I can't even understand why they're mad. I have not once gotten hate mail from a killer.
-
Or bring back splinters and allow the splinter for the new killer to have a chance to spawn in a bloodweb for a day or so.
-
So apparently this website can only take 25 responses in without me having to pay $12 a month to use a quiz making site.

I could see the results but some of them weren't what I'd chosen (ie showing 0 in the category for bubba being the weakest despite me picking etc) might be bugged idk
I can see one vote for Bubba on my end. Probably just lag.
-
Ok great, thanks
-
Also, can y'all see the results screen? I'm worried if it's just on my end.

And it's fine to give the killer free DC's and kills off of an easily obtainable offering?
To DC is the survivors choice.

Old Legion guide:
- use Bloodhound
- alternative: just follow the blood without Bloodhound, this is especially easy on maps without a lot of grass
Congratulations, no one can escape from you ever if you use your power off cooldown
Such counterplay, much wow
That was an exploit and not the way to play Legion correctly. Tunneling one survivor in order to get them downed with DW was not the point, the point was to apply DW to multiple survivors so theyre busy mending and not doing objectives.
-
I had an addon idea which could be a change to his current addon which is similar to this.
- Being invisible no longer hides your terror radius
- You no longer have a shimmer around you when invisible
This would just be hilarious to mess with survivors.
-
Use headphones is number one.
-
I've never heard anyone complain about exhaustion addons before. I don't see how theyre unfair at all.
-
Clown. Thicc boy
-
I got salt from a Dwight who thought he carried me and was mad for some reason that he lived and I died. Man survivors find a way to get salty even when they win and its against their own team.
-
Adrenaline only gives you the boosted speed if youre healthy.
-
:O
-
I used to be a Legion main as well. He was one of my favorite killers in terms of power and design and to see him nerfed like that, its cruelty. They most certainly could've changed him ti get rid of his exploits without banishing him to F tier. Hopefully he's the next killer they rework.

No, you just need to remove the dumb map designs like red forest and the unskillful safe loops and infinites and make loops that actually require skill. Now you’ve got the right to remove camping. But yes, to balance the game properly you will need to remove perks because then bamboozle will be called a no skill perk as there arent any more infinites and itll be used at a t wall for no mindgame potential. Thats just an example. DS may stay, to counter tunneling, because the maps were fixed but going inside a locker for a cheap free escape obviously removed. I think i made myself clear about what my view is on the game currently and how it needs to be done, and a sagacious person will understand what i am saying.
Thats still a major game change which I think we all know the devs will never do.
-
I dont have a problem with Lery's as both a survivor and killer unless Im playing Billy. Definitely one of the maps that is in the least need of a rework.
-
Camping, Tunneling, and Genrushing will exist as long as the devs allow it to. Don't blame the killer for camping/tunneling and survivors for gen rushing, they're doing the strategy thats best for them. Both are frustrating for the opposite sid. so instead of trying to punish the other side because its frustrating, complain to the devs for allowing them to still remain good strategies. Offer side objectives for survivors so they dont rush through gens. Give the killer a reason to leave the hook that doesn't punish them. If yoy ask me, I don't think theres a way to do both of these without changing the entire objective and gameplay mechanics for both sides. So being as how the devs aren't gonna do that, both will continue to exist.
-
My last game, actually. For some reason my HUD wasnt showing up, so when Freddy first approached me I just poked his face. He let me and Bill leave, and I gave him my toolbox which rarity I didn t know because no HUD.

As much as making someone waste his time, because the only way someone can play is by camping/tunneling/both isn't fair. To each his own, I guess. Though, I must admit, you got me laughing. Calling camping a "tactic" is just a joke, right? You don't really believe into what you are saying here. Because that would be tragic. A tactic, or a strategy, is something that needs to be THOUGHT, PLANNED. Standing still in front of a guy until he dies is as much of a tactic as farting is. Over and out. That said, I agree, there should be no perk to make someone get less points. Camping shouldn't be a thing in the first place.
Theres a difference between camping and facecamping, my friend
-
Yeah, snares are the way better option for his power. It's amazing how much they cut off loops.
-
Totally fair to give the survivor a free win because the hatch spawned.
-
All your perk does is affect the killer outside of the match. The psychological effects of "making the killer not want to camp" isn't how perks work. It's like if there was a perk which put players on a 30 minute ban after the match for DCing, in order to encourage them not to DC.
-
Or even better, zero for the unhook and 1500 for the safe hook.

as you said it gives me some kind of satisfaction and also some kind of hope that maybe killer will walk away and let someone else unhook me and give all players points
Thats not what perks are meant to do.
-
And not all camping is bad, theres different type of camping which are or arent justified depending on the circumstances. If the killer sees everyone trying to rush the hook, you really think the best option isn't to keep them away?
-
How does a perk that punishes the killer give anything to you other than satisfaction that he didn't get as many points, ON TOP of the fact that camping doesn't reward a lot of points in the first place.

Because this game isn't supposed to be about the highest level of skill. The game isn't supposed to be always 100% fair.
Lower skill mechanics exist because those with lesser skill need to have a chance against those with more experience. Just look at Mario Kart's Blue Shell, or CoD's n00b tube. Having mechanics that give the less-experienced player a chance is game design 101 and exist in almost every game out there.
We can rail against the all they want, but they will never go away.
Except those "handicaps" for lesser skilled players are also just as if not more available to hgiher skilled players. They discourage high skill play and makes people rely on them too much.
