Camping and tunneling are balanced as long as genrush exists.

Because camping gets you a kill after the genrush. Camping isnt bad strat if it gets you kill, like tunneling. I wont care about survivor fun if they dont care about mine and whine all day about spirit and nurse because they are only killers able to win against genrush without camping or tunneling BARELY.

I dont see how kill rush exists with all these infinites and perks.

  • @Yamaoka And since survivors gen rush because killers kill rush and killers kill rush because survivors gen rush, logically, survivors gen rush because killers kill rush.

  • @elveda_demedim There is no such thing as infinites anymore. The only thing that are close to infinites in this game is "large loops" which are just large loops. I dont see how gen rushing exist since its our only objective either. Nice bait dummy.

IDK how this is bait “buddy”. Those infinites are loops that can lose you the game, and there isnt a counter when chase breaks and no bamboozle. Youre just another survivor main who thinks thosw loops are fine when they have no skill included whatever.

oh and totems count for your emblems and give as much bp as gens, so you do have a second objective. But keep complaining about noed too.

I think when they say "kill rush," they're referring to when you tunnel someone down to get them out of the game.

    Well, ds exists.

  • @elveda_demedim Infinites literally don't exist anymore, I have no idea what goes on in your tiny killer brain but it sure isn't a lot. If your not able to outplay a survivor on loops these days you might just be a bad killer. You're just another person that seems biased towards killer, and makes a thread complaining about a subject that has been already noticed and taken action by the developers, and trying to compare two game tactics to the opposing team's objective.

  • Are we talking about camping when a lot of gens flying through and you're trying to gain friction or camping before 5 gens were done with ruin and NOED? Gen rush only really happens if you're not applying appropriate pressure or if everyone brings in boxes and prove thyself.

  • So then kill rush exists in the case that someone didn't bring in ds or the killer waits out the DS. As I said, I believe that's what they're trying to say.

No, youve lost your mind in a resentful state if you believe loops dont exist. I bet you fall for the simplest back on a jungle gym and call that outplay. Seriously, seeing red stain through a wall and sometimes no walls to cover you is really outplaying as survivor. Are you actually so blind you cant see the safe pallets like entrance to crotus prenn, or game basemenr, and also the window in rancid abattoir and crotus prenn and more.

There are still safe loops. Just not all of them are safe. Ideally you would loop around a pallet at least once before throwing it and if the killer leaves it up, you loop around it. Windows still exist, too.

i mean camping when your first chase had a bad time in an unbalanced map like haddonfield so 3 gens popped or in endgame.

  • A little salty today?

  • @elveda_demedim You never specified about what "infinites" you were mentioning and literally the only "infinite" there is the asylum and there is a big difference between safe pallets and "infinites", and what are you talking about "Seeing the red stains through walls" you can't do that in the first place. Your just really lucky the game was like how it was when it started killers had it way harder back then, otherwise you wouldn't even be here.

I personally think it's understandable. They need to balance some of the really bad maps. Haddonfield has way too many windows/pallets and it even has an infinite if you have balanced landing. :/

Yes you can see red stain through wall on low graphics. I dont need to specify an infinite, because an infinite is an infinite. Infinites are the ones with BS windows which dont need a pallet. Safe pallets are the ones where you cant mindgame, like the ones near coal tower in macmillan.

  • @CornChip said:

No, i havent even played the game for last 3 days because of the unbalance. Unless there was some huge patch i missed, i remember how the game is.

  • @elveda_demedim You can see it on LOW graphics, not high, not medium, not ultra, on LOW graphics. And Infinites are infinites the ones with the [BAD WORD] windows that don't need a pallet to be safe and also don't exist any more. Also since you seem new and lost coal tower doesn't have a single safe pallet anymore. Since your a bad killer and you look pretty lost I suggest watching someone that knows what there talking about before making a post about something that isn't relevant all because you had one bad experience with a survivor that "abused a infinite" on you. Have a great day and git gud.

Hey man, if you know what an infinite is and can memorize all the maps and their landmarks, you dont need to prove anything to me.

Now, because it exists in low graphics doesnt mean it cant be done. Just simply click low and youll get free wallhacks.

Those infinites still exist. Bad ham getting a rework doesnt fix the window in crotus prenn, rancid abattoir, haddonfield balanced landing, macmillan coal tower and ironworks of misery, lery’s centre window with balanced landing, that other building with a gen inside and ocassional basement, but at least the window is sometimes blocked so it doesnt exist right? :-) not to mention the 2 pallets at both entrances which dont get mindgamed.

Coal tower has the gen on top and you can drop with balanced landing for a free escape, thats the building were talking about right? Yeah, it has atleast 2 safe pallets and jungle gyms on either side of the map. Not to mention the window inside the building which is an infinite.

I also forgot to mention the barn with a gen and basement and the infinite window. And the autohaven building with a gen inside and the safest pallet in the game.

The size of red forest, the main building in the center of huntress’ map and also the building with the firepit inside where you HAVE to walk up to the survivor to force them to drop like in coal tower, only for them to run with Balanced Landing.

That’s definitely not true, especially if you aren’t playing a mobility killer. There are plenty of games where i’m ending chases quick and still, the gens get done. A killer like LF or wraith literally can’t move fast enough from a hook to a gen across the map.

Yeah, there's times you're outmatched or the map is bad. If you're able to get friction, you can make a ball start to roll, though a lot of how you do relates to the perks you bring and how long/quick chases are, along with being able to find people. I think it's fine to adjust your play style according to what you're facing. I mostly only have an issue with people who rely heavily on camping without attempting to get better at the game. If you're chasing someone, part of improving is figuring out where to give up chase and where to not.

  • are you playing huntress without bamboozle?

thats the only possible way to say infinite exists in this game now lol

how does having a long range shot not stop infinites? I play huntress and hag and spirit and nurse and some hillbilly because they can stop some or all these loops.

to not get you confused, i dont have ruin as a teachable.

also thesedays lots of potatos get down from wm1 without bamboozle

Well thats why i said some. She counters macmillan loops and plenty more, and she also is fun. I believe you are south korean so you are good ath the game?

  • It seems like players are starting to change their views about killers being bullied to survivors being bullied recently. I don’t see why that would be, considering the devs nerfing both equally. Survivors are too used to these types of cheap moves, and i know someone will get triggered at this.

I never saw it two sided (I am biased but i provide facts, if that is biased) other than skill involved, but it seems like some of you do. Asking for cheap moves being removed is not a bait. Looping is not cheap unless it’s a safe loop or an infinite. Genrush is not real; tunneling is not real. It is objective. Camping is cheap, but only gets you a kill. It is not rewarding anything; no bp, no pip, no pressure. It is satisfaction for completing your objective, though inefficient. Infinites and safe loops still exist and they are still cheap like camping. You do your objective as a chased survivor; contain the killer and not get caught.

Camping happens because you got caught. Looping infinites and safe pallets avoids you getting caught, assuming your allies do generators. You can expect to be camped because it is a cheap move that works when killer has no chance to snowball. A camper and an infinite/safe looper can not be blamed, because it works. No camper/tuneller (although you can equip DS and go in a locker) is going to let you go for free, and no survivor is not going to exploit “balanced and skillful” loops.

What makes me triggered is that some people believe most infinites and safe loops are magically gone, so camping and tunneling should be too. Bamboozle is the only answer to infinites for an M1 killer, and that is already bad game design to have to equip a perk to balance things...

  • Genrush would not be a problem if the maps were fixed, not assumed fixed because of a perk/ a balanced patch which had nothing to do with the rest of the maps.

  • Camping, Tunneling, and Genrushing will exist as long as the devs allow it to. Don't blame the killer for camping/tunneling and survivors for gen rushing, they're doing the strategy thats best for them. Both are frustrating for the opposite sid. so instead of trying to punish the other side because its frustrating, complain to the devs for allowing them to still remain good strategies. Offer side objectives for survivors so they dont rush through gens. Give the killer a reason to leave the hook that doesn't punish them. If yoy ask me, I don't think theres a way to do both of these without changing the entire objective and gameplay mechanics for both sides. So being as how the devs aren't gonna do that, both will continue to exist.

No, you just need to remove the dumb map designs like red forest and the unskillful safe loops and infinites and make loops that actually require skill. Now you’ve got the right to remove camping. But yes, to balance the game properly you will need to remove perks because then bamboozle will be called a no skill perk as there arent any more infinites and itll be used at a t wall for no mindgame potential. Thats just an example. DS may stay, to counter tunneling, because the maps were fixed but going inside a locker for a cheap free escape obviously removed. I think i made myself clear about what my view is on the game currently and how it needs to be done, and a sagacious person will understand what i am saying.

That’s melancholy. WE are, not just one side, every single player, is stuck here hoping for the best updates from the devs. But they dont want to realize this, theyre unreasonable and too much hate towards killers because they dont understand self awareness, or they dont have empathy, and the only way to empathize in this game is to play the other side as the most miserable possible way, but thats not saying go all noob and complain; it’s just not being able to do anything, hence miserable.
