If you are using Solidarity, try using Resurgence. I haven't been able to test it out yet but it should allow you to heal fully after healing a survivor for just one health state.
I have tested it and it works extremely well.

Do you park Charlotte next to Hook after Hooking a Survivor while roaming with Victor?
Only rarely, and only because it’s incidental, like instances I go to leave the hook, and I’ve already spotted someone that wasn’t very discreet about running over to the hook, so I unleash victor onto them. But the moment they’re latched, and I switch back to Charlotte, I go searching for someone or go after who has Victor if they were close enough. I’m not staying by the hook doing nothing if I don’t see anybody else.

Can’t really get points against a killer where you spend half the time on the ground and all chases are against Victor, who gives you absolutely nothing in boldness.
Bold of you to presume this is the only way i choose to play Twins.

I feel like that could easily be exploited though. A survivor who is comfortable with being injured could pair self care and bite the bullet to negate many aura reading effects. For example, they could stay injured and when they see that someone is about to be hooked, start self caring for the 4 seconds then go back on their gen. Although, maybe it'd be fine as they are using 2 perks to achieve this. Don't really know how I'd feel about it to be honest.
This is very true.

Almost spot on.

Dude, were talking about keys. If theres only 1 person left the hatch appears OPEN. Doesnt matter how many gens are left. How did you jump to that? Of course it shows up when tgeres only 1 person left for petes sake
Your exact words:
”Would take an hour tops to go in and change numbers so the hatch only appears after last gen is done”

Dude. What are you talking about? Im legit lost on how having hatch appear after gens are done does any of the things youre talking about. In facr, it does the opposite since survivors wont be able to leave without doing the gens first.
Please explain how you think this screws anyobe
Your exact words:
”Would take an hour tops to go in and change numbers so the hatch only appears after last gen is done”
How else is someone meant to interpret that?
You said “only after last gen is done”.
If you mean something else, you need to articulate yourself better.
Otherwise it implies that the intention is that if a survivor has had their team mates throw the game before the gens can be finished, they don’t get hatch, which would be completely unfair for something that happened that was out of their hands.

@Edgars_Raven said:

If hatch only appears after the last gen is done? How does that screw teammates? How is it any different than when they screw their teammates now? And nibidy said it has to be permanent, it can be a bandaid till whatever it is theyre doing. Like moris were
No one will play survivor if there isn’t any hope of escape if they’re the victim of the other 3 survivors throwing the game. It’s already bad enough as it is being matched with other survivors that throw the game. Don’t also take away that small chance of hope for survivors that are working hard to do the right thing, but it be all for nothing.
-
@Edgars_Raven said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2312593#Comment_2312593
People ignore it because the devs were happy to nerf moris without touching keys. Would take an hour tops to go in and change numbers so the hatch only appears after last gen is done, which would put it back on par with moris. They didnt/havent done that. So op is 100% correct. As is everone else still bitching about it
But that’s also not a good solution. That unfairly screws solos that may have been screwed over by the team mates they were matched with.

It was a good strategy back when she was given one corrupted fountain for free, but now it is probably more detrimental depending on the circumstances.
The reason is because people did that to prevent her from getting corrupt purge. But now that she starts with one corrupt fountain for free, there isn't really a point in staying infected the whole game. So stop chewing out your team when they cleanse please, I saw this happen to a baby Claudette the other day, I did stand up for her but for the love of DBD don't go off on anyone who cleanses.
What you should be doing is cleansing in fountains that are inconvenient for her at the time. And by that I mean fountains that are far from where she is at the moment, but only when you really need to.
Times when you should cleanse is if the Plague is proxy camping around a survivor hooked in the basement, or if you are on death hook. It is okay to be infected for a little while, but just cleanse when you need to.
I’ve been saying this since day dot. Most of my easy wins are against teams that won’t Cleanse. This includes when Plague didn’t have a free fountain.

Care to explain how The Last of Us Part 2 and Death Stranding perform very well on a base model PS4? Both of these games are more graphically demanding than DBD.
These were games that had the full support of Sony, and had regular involvement in ensuring these products ran as best as they could on PS4, so that Sony gets a return on their investment.
Sony doesn’t have the same stake in BHVR.

I like your clown build but wouldn’t death bound kinda conflict with the other perks?
I don’t expect synergy with Deathbound. It’s just information that lets me know when survivors are starting to waste more of their own time ensuring they’re always travelling outside of Coulrophobia range before healing. And if I’m not preoccupied then I can also go other and irritate the heck out of them by injuring them again.

I really wish you made some sort of Google doc or something with your build on every killer similar to like otz or something lmao I freaking love your thought process and builds mate.
My personal feelings are that people invest too much reliance on their perk load outs.
It’s not that perks aren’t important. What’s more important is that they’re used with purpose and intent. HOW the players chooses to play or approach a match is WAY more important than the perks that are actually equipped.
For example: this one’s a nice obvious one. Ruin does nothing if survivors aren’t regularly pushed off of gens.
A killer needs to preplan their approach to a match, BUT also be quick enough on their feet to reformulate different approaches when plan A isn’t working.
And at the end of the day, despite our best efforts loses will be had. That’s the game. The survivors can’t always win. And neither can the killers.
-
I play in red ranks. My mains are Clown (not playing him lately because of the bugs), Plague, Doc, and Twins. I mostly win, and very rarely are my loses really bad, embarrassing loses. I’m very anti meta.
Here are some of my most used builds;
Clown -
Coulrophobia, Deathbound, Forced Penance, Sloppy Butcher.
Doc -
Distressing, Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Unnerving Presence.
M&A, Dark Devotion, Overcharge, Dragon’s Grip. (Double Calm add ons)
Plague -
Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion, Infectious Fright, Blood Echo.
Twins -
Coup De Grace, Hoarder, Oppression, Zanshin Tactics.
As you see here, other than Corrupt on Plague, and Sloppy on Clown, there’s nothing very meta here. Game slow down is more than equipping gen slow down perks. That will only get you so far. Gen slow down is also about thinking about strategies you can use with your chosen killers that keep as many survivors off if gens as often as possible. This includes figuring out ways to trick and outwit survivors both within chases, and out of them.
-

The fact the recently Every survivor I've been matched with even though I save them multiple times has left me on my first hook at the end of a match. Killer isn't camping or anything and they just dart out of the gate. So If I am in your game and we are survivor together don't get hooked because I am leaving you up there. As I cannot take the chance of risking a hook state for someone who is just going to leave me up there.
Yeah I hate this too, and try not to do this to others. There are exceptions though. If it’s endgame with NOED, and it’s my first hook, I often don’t expect a save. If the killer is camping I just suicide because I don’t want others wasting their time for a save that just gets them hooked as well.
When the situation is reversed I’ve sometimes have not been able to help someone who has helped me multiple times, but those are times where I hope the other understands it was pointless for me try. I.e. I’d just die for nothing because likely they’re still going to die also.

I mentioned that in my post.
His snares do not override vacuum vaults. If you place them too close, you won't slow the vault.
Either way, even if it’s just localised to Clown, I’m sure the problem is being taken seriously. Just because a fix wasn’t ready in the hotfix doesn’t mean they’re not bothering to fix it at all.

It isn't affecting Freddy.
It's specific to Clown, I tested it.
There have been anecdotes from Freddy players about snares not always working, or not preventing fast vaults.

It’s not proof at all (facepalm). They just haven’t been able to fix it yet. Probably because it’s a more complicated issue than we realise. It’s probably a deeper issue with the Hindered status, not something specifically related to just Clown.

@Sluzzy said:
I've about done versing this killer with an uncounterable lunge. Every match is a bloodbath because they are way overpowered. There's no counter to him being so fast and using the wallhack and then the lunge being so huge. Even if you have sprint burst it won't matter. His movement speed is too much. It is not fair he can spam his power for an uncounterable lunge with no cooldowns. Revert his buffs. He had decent killrates, the buff was unnecessary.
The devs need to speak about this matter because it's game breaking.
He’s only just been buffed. Everything IMO is fine except “All Seeing” - Blood. That’s the only thing in his kit I think needs to be nerfed.

- Yes, the cakes will stack. They always have (barring bugs). There's literally no reason why they wouldn't all of a sudden.
- Nobody (except the devs) knows what the event is going to be like in its entirety. Don't trust leaks and assume anything anyone says about what the event "is like " is 100% speculative.
- Finally, wait until the event actually starts and we have actual information before you criticize it. I don't think it's too much to ask that you base criticisms on real information.

Personally i’d like to see a new killer whose TR is integral to their power like Doc.

@Jarol said:
How would you make Clown Tier-S?
I’m gonna be mocked, but I’ll say it anyway.
He genuinely doesn’t need many changes. He’s already extraordinary in the chase department. Get those downs quick enough, and that’s pressure enough on the survivors. This includes regularly slugging for no other reason than to waste that survivors time, and the time of another survivor that needs to help them.
a) other than his current game breaking bugs that obviously need fixing, one other bug that needs addressing that has persisted since his rework is that sometimes switching bottles doesn’t work. You visually see the switch happen. You also see the colour change in the corner by the power icon. But when you throw your bottle it’s sometimes still the last selected bottle. Throwing the wrong bottle at the wrong time can be a mistake that costs the game by extending a chase way longer than it should have. So this needs fixing.
b) the ability to switch between Tonics and Antidotes should be completely independent from any of the base mechanic cool downs. For example: if i’ve successfully M1’d a survivor, currently have the Tonic selected, but want to throw an Antidote next, I SHOULDN’T have to wait until the successful basic attack cool down ends to switch to an Antidote I want to throw. I should be able to tell the game while I have Tonic selected that I want to ready up an Antidote next (or vice versa) once the cool down has ended. I.e. if I want to start charging a throw immediately upon the cool down has ended, the game should allow me to select which bottle I want during cool downs. Currently this is a big, clunky problem holding him back in the heat of chaos sometimes.
Other than this Clown is in an amazing spot. I hope he’s fixed soon.

Oh... my... god...
The irony of making a post about (to paraphrase) “by all means, make complaints, but stop making up fairy tales like a bunch of kids.”, only for the post to be inundated with EXACTLY that: rubbish without actual supporting evidence.
You can’t use something as loose as just the past in order to confirm a bias. You CAN however use that as enough basis to INVESTIGATE further to challenge whether something is or is not true.
I don’t have a life threatening disease. I also breathe air. I’m not about to be an idiot and claim with total conviction that simply breathing air prevents life threatening disease.
You need to have something MORE than just correlation to support a claim or theory.

Thing is, being an expert Blight, part of the many skills you have to learn is adjusting your rush mid-rush while planning where to bump and reacting to survivor movement in a small amount of time. An "expert" Blight will never always know where they want to bump because that's not what an expert Blight is all about. Making adjustments on the fly within extremely small time windows is something that Adrenaline Vial completely takes away.
They have officially stated that the purpose of the addon is to literally just make him a full on pinball machine, where you cannot turn.
Yes, you move in pretty much a 100% straight line. But you can be turning/tracking with your camera the whole time, preparing for exactly where you going next upon bouncing. I.e. no delay looking where to rush next during the bounce. Just immediately launch into the next rush.
But also, fair enough, I’m not a Blight player here. This is just based off anecdotes from Blights that never take Adrenaline Vial off, and praise the crap out of it.
