Oh, the brown add-on. I thought it was worthless lol. Now I can see why those together would be really nasty. Pretty much, auto-aim.

No no, that’s not what I mean, although there’s nothing stopping someone from using them together.

    Compound 7 simply auto aims.

Adrenaline Vial allows Blight to plan where to rush next before even bouncing off of something by already looking exactly where he wants to be going. I.e. it’s compound 7 with manual control at the expense of how freely you can curve your rush.

The problem with it is, when you bounce, it's almost impossible even with the other add-on to actually turn to bounce off another object. It's like you bounce and you're pushing left or right but instead of swaying, you just barely get any kind of movement and you're getting sucked straight ahead. Once you bounce, you better pray to the Entity that you're facing an object to bounce off of because if you aren't... well, have fun XD

My understanding is that it’s the “expert” version of Compound 7. The Blight should already have planned where he’s rushing/bouncing off of, and while rushing Blight freely looks around to plan where to rush next, or see where the survivor already is. By the time Blight hits a “bounce”, the intention is there to be no delay in launching into the next rush because you are already facing the required direction.

I’m not able to pull this off myself because I don’t play him regularly enough, and I find rushing sideways extremely nauseating.

  • I’ve read expert Blight players praise this add on. I don’t personally play Blight, but apparently (according to them) the ability to look all around whilst rushing is invaluable in planning their next Rush, and to keep track of a survivor.

I'm bed bound at the moment, my back hurts as all hell and I have absolutely no idea. So here I am, drinking rum and loathing at a particular topic that hits close to home. Killer mains, you'll understand this plight.

It was the 2017 when I joined, survivors were strong, but the developers started giving us love. Hope was returning, we were on par for once, twas glorious days.

I've been here for years now, I've watch the graph shoot up and down, complaints for both sides of whom is truly the worst, but in the end, we were all together. Through thick and thin.

But... it all changed when the dreaded survivor nation attacked....

It's June 16th, 2020. Pyramid Head was released, survivors were at a riot, complaining about his power, he's OP, he's scum. But.. the developers never did anything about it. Survivors were huddled together and thought "So the devs won't listen to our complaints about his power.... so what can we do to win this?" As they discussed, an unnamed Survivor comes up with the most dreaded idea in the world. An idea that split the community for once and for all. The shot around the world.

    A survivor took this photo.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6HS4EMHXK3RP/screenshot-20210624-211822-chrome.jpg

Do you see it? It's cake.

Our version of an escape cake. An escape from reality. Something that highly motivates us to wake up and play killer, something that pushes back our tears and allows us to be happy.

The dreaded survivor complained. "It's too sexual, it hurts the character's intergraty!" More and more evil survivors joined together in arms and rioted.

    #NERFTHEBUTT

An evil trend that followed Bhvr on Twitter, attacking their ankles like my neighbor's stupid chihuahua when I try to grab my paper in the morning.

Bhvr couldn't handle the onslaught and had to make the ultimate sacrifice. They had to nerf the killer's greatest asset. Our butt. The butt that carries us to salvation, our light in dark times. They had to remove it.

On the accounts of it being too sexual.

TO HELL TO THEM CLAIMS I SAY!

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/VFMWTSIKH95I/screenshot-20210624-212742-chrome.jpg

Do you know what this is?

To the untrained eye, it's a butt. But, not just any butt. The scientific name for it is called the "gluteus maximus." Why does it have a scientific name? Simple. Because it's a muscle. A muscle that can be trained via squats.

Why does that matter? Because the bigger the butt muscle, the more that person can carry, having a big butt isn't just for appeal, it's for strength. Which side uses strength the most?

    THAT'S RIGHT

    KILLERS

Killers lift heavy survivors day in and day out, they have muscles, they're strong. Amanda most likely has a six pack! So, with all that crouching to pick up survivors is bound to build strength to the gluteus maximus.

    But... that's not true.

Nemesis is supposed to be Umbrella's attempt at the perfect human being.

    SO WHERE IS THE CAKE?!

Here are my attempts to fix them

But... I'm only one person. I can't do this alone.

Won't you join me? Good Survivors! Killers! Join me in arms so we may have our butts back!

    #Bringbackthebutts

Goodness, this was entertaining. So much passion.

When I play killer survivors usually miss because their timing is off. Never been bullied with it but I can see that happening at lower ranks maybe?

I can assure you that going against a highly skilled, highly coordinated SWF all running Head On, expertly managing their exhaustion timers to take turns to stun the killer mid chase with somebody else, so that you can NEVER get a down, EVER, is one of absolute most miserable experiences a killer can have in this game.

I’m just relieved this strategy isn’t more popular than it is, because it’s frightening just how well it works for those sorts of teams.

  • Please no. It’s already a troll perk. Let’s not increase its strength to bully another player

  • I switch between Claire & Chris as my new mains.

David’s beautiful masculine, muscled body, and Felix striking handsome features are dead to me now 🤣🤣🤣

  • How about we wait until it actually starts before making rash judgements, hmmm...

  • @Steel_Eyed said:

I agree with OP and blame OhToFu and Dowsey for explaining why this killer is so strong. They’ve been a lot of fun for me the weeks leading up to Nemesis.

You may hate reading this but they are one of the killers that most effectively use meta perks like Ruin as well. Being a passive perk, Victor can push survivors off objectives. Incapacitate survivors which means they can’t stop the Ruin regression. These kinds of synergies really push Twins up the tier list.

My next challenge is designing a no regression build. If I can win consistently without regression perks, they will solidify in my top five.

    Thank you.

  • @blue4zion said:

I loved the Twins from the start, and play them pretty often. This is pretty accurate.

I also agree the camping needs to be looked at, and is possibly one of the strongest things they can do but there is so much more potential.

This was well put together and thought out, I even learned a few things. This man has got it.

    Appreciate your effort!

    Thank you for that feedback.

It both concerns me, and saddens me that as a Twins main, as you claim you are

the audacity you had to say this.

i am not the only twins main who plays like this. watch any competitive dbd match with twins, they all play "scummy"

that's simply the only way you win. literally every killer plays "scummy" to win so i don't see why twins would be an exception. but i can see your perspective. as i said,

they clap every solo and meh swf team (which is the majority)

i also can be afk for the first 1-2 minutes of the match and still easily 4k without using my brain when i play twins in majority of my matches.

I also said that if that style of play works for you, fine.

I’m not looking to start fights here.

  • No thank you. Please don’t suggest a change to Scratched Pearl. I want my Open Handed, Scratched Pearl, Blood Amber so I can see the killer within 60m

A survivor WILLINGLY taking themselves out of their team objective by kidnapping Victor is actually a MASSIVE boon to you as killer.

usually wrong if all 4 good loopers

you also forget about entering a locker and the sound cue of releasing victor and switching control

vigilant survivors will work on generators near a locker if possible and keep themselves healed so they can't be slugged and if you can't start a slugging spree with twins you can't camp and you can't snowball and you will eventually lose. the math doesn't work in favor of twins in such a situation

Victor should be auto destroyed if he’s already near a hook that Charlotte places a survivor

this idea is insane when i hear it from a twins player.

i don't know why you would even suggest this, maybe because your playstyle is chasing with charlotte, bodyblocking a loop, and transferring to victor mid-chase which is extremely inefficient, but you also mentioned using victor as a sentry to track survivors and ambush, so i can't really tell.

regardless, you're suggesting to obliterate the strongest aspect of twins, and without this camping power, they would drop to B or C tier.

thing with twins is they clap every solo and meh swf team (which is the majority), but encounter a coordinated good swf, you'll need to play as sweaty as possible. camping a slugged or hooked survivor included.

these are just my humble opinions from a twins main who has mained them since day 1 of PTB.

Also, I can’t see how my suggestion to nerf their camping would hurt them that much.

There are those accidental times Victor is near a hook because I’m immediately rushing off after someone as Charlotte, but intentionally placing Victor near a hook before picking up and hooking a survivor there is a bit scummy (in my personal opinion). It’s totally unnecessary to still win, and unnecessary in order to still adequately pressure the survivors a great deal.

If that’s working for you, fine.

  • @Verconissp said:

they just need to change his nerfs.

That's what hurts twins the most. out of Anything,

It doesn’t hurt them as much as I personally thought. I think it’s fair that they’ve made mass slugging with Victor more difficult. That’s not a healthy thing for survivors to deal with.

  • @MadLordJack said:

Yeah, all survivors have to do is travel in pairs and use lockers and there's nothing they can do.

Funnily enough, yes injured survivors should stay grouped together. Conversely though, healthy survivors shouldn’t stay grouped up.

One of the worst circumstances the survivors can find themselves in is if Victor latches onto a healthy survivor grouped up with other injured survivors, with Charlotte being told where they all are for a few seconds.

  • @whycantIwin said:

I know having Victor on your back does NOT stop you from vaulting windows and dropping pallets, which still makes no sense to me, but the fact Victor can be on your back, and you can still unhook, was the last nail in the coffin, the Twins are the worst of the worst

I play the Twins a lot, and for the record I used to think they were trash too (I thought they were the worst killers ever released). But they’re actually ridiculously strong.

First it wouldn’t be balanced if a survivor with Victor on couldn’t vault or drop pallets. You do know it’s possible to wait until Charlotte is close to a survivor before unleashing Victor right? In these instances, if a survivor absolutely could not vault or use pallets, it’s essentially making Charlotte an insta down killer in these circumstances. I.e. find survivor, use Victor, auto change to Charlotte, 100% free hit.

Secondly, The Twins hook camping is already strong enough without adding in the restriction that a survivor with Victor cannot unhook. Think of only 2 survivors left, one almost about to be sacrificed, and all Charlotte needs to do is launch Victor onto the healthy survivor running into the hook, and the survivor on the hook unfairly dies because they didn’t have more than 8 seconds left on their timer.

Speaking of smaller maps, take a second to imagine this build with double calm addons on Midwich or The Game.

    Edit: Spelling error

I mean you could, but none of these perks are TR dependent though.

  • @gendoss said:

I feel like this would only be good on smaller maps where you can kick gens quickly.

Been fine on big maps so far. That’s the beauty of Eruption & Oppression. You get a pay off no matter which gens were kicked, and where.

  • Doc gets good value out of it, plus it’s a good tracking perk. Doc is the only killer I’d ever use Overcharge on though.

  • @DoritoHead said:

    Does Eruption stack with Surge?

    Yep.

  • @DBD_IS_AWSOME said:

Trapper is honestly the worst killer in the game. You can get anything done. As soon as you place a trap it is disarmed. Literally the millisecond you put it down it’s gone. Trapper needs removed or reworked. He really is just a random spot on the roster.

If you’re in games where traps you set are almost immediately disarmed upon leaving, then someone is following and watching you.

    Take advantage of that.

Place a trap somewhere that isn’t close to a safe loop, or safe structure. Leave, but immediately return to see if you can catch someone in the act, or search the immediate area.

If it’s because someone is bringing in a map to see the auras, then bring Third Seal, and trap your Hex.

The archives are just a battle pass with some lore attatched.

Hell, the rift is mostly just small charms and reskins. With maybe one or two unique skins per rift. Tell me how THAT, pulls a large amount if resources.

If the battle pass is pulling that much manpower into it. Then BHVR really needs to revaluate what they prioritize for development.

That doesn’t mean they just wave a wand, and “poof”, rift and tomes appear. There’s also the writing, artwork, voice recordings, and animations created for the archives too.

All I’m saying is that once upon a time they only had to invest their time into chapters, bug fixes, cosmetics and events. Now they’re still trying to do all that on top of a year round “battle pass” if that’s what you want to call it. Something’s gotta give somewhere.

  • @BingBongMan said:

Because the in game event is just a copy and paste job.

Even the stuff they're doing out of matches is just a variation of stuff they could already do. Such as rotating the shrine of secrets, giving log in rewards, and reskinning default cosmetics + items.

None of the upcoming event is effortful, and if this is BHVR putting in extra effort. Then I don't have much hope for the future of events in this game. Honestly, indie titles with much smaller teams have pulled off much better events than this.

    @DetailedDetriment said:

There is no extra effort; there's less effort tham before.

I don’t think this takes into account how much more time and resources they sink into the archives year round now.

I think this leaves little time and resources for massive events anymore.

After playing killer for 6 rounds I realized just how hard being killer is. I am so sorry for ever doubting what you killers say. I have learned my lesson. Much love from a survivor main. This concludes the killer/ survivor meeting for today😜

And for context, Killer has been the easiest it’s ever been, and that’s still not easy.

That should give you an idea of just how hard (and sometimes broken) the game used to be for killers.

  • @van9684 said:

I see a lot of complaining on here about how awful and difficult it is to play killer, how unfair the game is, yet most of you are killer mains. So why is that?

I played killer only for a long time and it was just too easy. After that initial learning of the game, I never had to get better or develop new skill so I switched to survivor. I also like the teamwork aspect. So, why do you continue to play killer if it’s so bad and makes you angry?

Because most of it is really being melodramatic. I have bad games sometimes. Some of the losses are embarrassing. Yeah, I’ll come here and rant like many others do. But most of the time playing Killer isn’t that bad, even against most SWF.

  • @Solyc said:

The idea is simple, moriing a survivor makes him/her raise as a zombie controlled by the AI, with the skin he was wearing, blue tint and maybe a greyer skintone.

It would just be really cool to see your charcater wandering around, and may confuse survivors. +1 more zombie for the Nemesis horde until it's dead.

You need to edit your post title. You made it sound like this was already in the game, so i clicked to read how.

Seeing as this is a suggestion, please make your title SOUND like a suggestion.

Legion is just an m1 killer with a free first hit. And he has a normal terror radius. All you need to do to counter clown is drop the pallet early and 90% of the time he can't do anything about it. Trickster at the very least will eventually down you with his power. Usually faster than legion or clown.

    BWAHAHA.

By all means drop those pallets.

    Give me all your pallets.

Survivors doing this are the easiest wins in the game.

  • @BoostedKateMain said:

The meat plant needs to be reverted, every pallet has no gameplay for the killer and there is about 7000 breakable walls everywhere. How this map got approved is genuinely concerning. Enough said.

Calm down. Once many of the pallets are broken this map is a death trap for survivors. And it’s better to leave most breakable walls intact to create dead ends.

Not listening to player feedback is the community's single biggest gripe with this company.

It’s not that they don’t listen.

There’s an overwhelming amount of noise they have to filter through because MOST of it isn’t even remotely close to being objective.

  • @justalilbit123 said:

I mean I'm not trying to be a dick here but once you play a decent amount, you already know where Gens spawn, so the perk is fairly useless... unless it's a new map or The Game.

It’s not useless. As I summarise over and over again, I can identify 3 gen or 4 gen set ups immediately, and if I get spun around forgetting which gens other survivors have popped, I can use Visionary during a chase to know where I shouldn’t lead the killer.

  • @DwarvenTavern said:

Well. Some of the hate that's mentioned does have actual evidence. But, Bethesda... a game company I used to love is doing it worse and is showing no signs of change. I still see some hope. But, right now I like to believe I'm understandably nettled at most.

It’s fine to be angry. But there are adult ways to handle/process that though.

There’s ways to express disappointment without adding in unfounded accusations. (I’m not saying you do this. This is just a generalisation).
